Chapter 23. Sister-in-law

The RD group's birthday celebration was festive. At the peak event, Mr. Riadi announced his resignation from the President's seat due to physical conditions that have not allowed to continue to take care of the company and appointed Reynaldi Pratama as the next President to replace him. In addition, he also announced the engagement of his only daughter Kailla Riadi Dirgantara with Reynaldi Pratama. “Still Dad, just a little pain,” Kailla said while massaging her heels. Pram who had finished receiving remarks from the guests immediately approached Kailla and knelt down to see the condition of Kailla's legs.

“Jeez, Kai. Why did it come to this?” Pram calls Donny's assistant to ask the hotel for warm water. As soon as Donny's assistant came in carrying a basin of warm water, Pram immediately pulled out a handkerchief from his suit pocket, washed and compressed Kailla's heels.

“Have felt good, right?” ask Pram a few minutes later. Kailla simply nodded and smiled looking at the man kneeling below her.

“Aih, she's so sweet,” Kailla said in her heart.

“Goodnight, Sister-in-law? How are you?” Suddenly a thick-bodied man came to approach Mr. Riadi and without permission immediately sat next to Mr. Riadi.

“Andi?” said Mr. Riadi ascertain whether it is true that the person in front of him is the younger brother of his late wife.

“Revelation .. You still remember me,” said a man known as Andi. At first glance he glanced at Pram who was still kneeling and rubbed Kailla's heels with a handkerchief.

“Cih, it's a decent place for you there. Not to be a president. This old man is also very outrageous, he could have given everything to the street child. Children whose origins are unclear. Though we here are clearly his relatives, it is not even considered at all.”

Before long, it was seen that he was calling someone to come. Kailla was soon able to recognize the shameless and pretentious man who was bothering her just before the show began.

“Dennis, Om.” Dennis introduced himself, after which he chose to sit in one of the empty seats while staring at Kailla and Pram alternately.

“Hai, Beautiful We meet again. Congratulations on your engagement,” Dennis said as he extended his hand back to shake hands. Kailla only glanced at a glance then ignored Dennis' hand, letting him hang in the air. Seeing that, Pram finally stood up and welcomed Dennis' hand.

“Thank you, I hope you can be present at our wedding, Mr. Dennis,” Pram said with a smile. He deliberately emphasizes the marriage sentence to remind Dennis that he is Kailla's future husband. “I walk alone, Om,” replied Kailla while moving her ankles.

Pram immediately asked Donny to take the flip-flops in the trunk of the car so that Kailla would walk more freely. After returning with his flip-flops, Donny immediately puts the sandals at kailla's feet and intends to bring back the unused shoes, but is forbidden by Pram.

“Put it there, Don. Later I will bring Kai his shoes," explained Pram, crouched down and picked up Kailla's shoes lying on the floor.

Afterwards with one hand on the other, Pram can be seen grasping Kailla's fingers and they walk to the elevator, following Mr. Riadi and Donny who have gone down first.
