Arpen Empire!
The Arpen Empire was the first empire to unify the Versailles Continent under a single government. But after 300 years passed, the glory days of the Arpen empire could not be maintained anymore. Eventually it was divided into dozens of small countries.
Since then, world history has moved towards stories of struggle embedded in the countries and the heroes that dwell in them. The history of the world stands thanks to the sacrifice and blood of the heroes.
While the small country and only rely on weak infantry troops finally allied to survive in the era of world war. It was then this alliance that became known as the Britten Alliance in the present day.
At first, the 7 allied kingdoms did not trust each other, even suspect each other.
But now, the kingdom has been integrated into one through the laws and regulations of the applicable government. In addition, the economy of this kingdom has grown rapidly with the progress of the times. Supported by the number of traders coming in and out of the city enliven the trading market. From there, independent cities were formed.
Rulers from each country are free to visit other countries. There they will be treated with the same respect, as in the country of origin.
Geographically, the Britten Alliance is located in the eastern part of the continent's center, this is the main reason they can avoid a major war that has the potential to damage the city.
For this reason, in the present times many players choose Britten Alliance as their starting place.
...***...
Tomlin City!
It is located in the easternmost part of the Britten Alliance. Fierce competition ensued between fellow merchants who filled the town square.
"Rabbit skin! Rabbit skin! Rabbit Skin! Cheap price is great! Just for today!"
"Rabbit Skin! Rabbit Skin! Rabbit Skin! 20% discount only for the first 20 buyers!"
"Rabbit Skin! Rabbit Skin! Rabbit Skin! Discount price 20+10 % only for most sellers!"
"Search for people who want to hunt together in the Reslar Dungeon!"
"From a Cleric and a Priest of level above 50! The allocation of drop items would be doubled rather than hunting alone!"
Players filled the city square. The place looks like a crowd of colorful ants. Its coast was surrounded by countless Merchant carts. In accordance with its nickname, the Britten Alliance is a very advanced job in commercial trade, so it is not surprising if it is filled with Merchants who visit from various parts of the world.
A man with a thick mustachioed rubbed his nose, "You've bought spices?"
"Of course!"
"Oho! Move fast men!"
"should! Doubling down is very important in an increasingly cruel world."
The mustachioed man smiled slightly after patting his best friend on the shoulder, "Just relax, we've bought a lot of things at a low price. I'm sure this time we'll make a big profit!"
The two men smiled together while enjoying the bustle of the city from inside the shop. From there it looks a lot of beginner players who pass by. No exception beginner Merchants who are eager to pull the cart.
Suddenly the crowd exploded as a wagon from the East slowly approached the city gate.
"uh? What'sthat?"
"His cart looks so ugly."
Most people who heard the remark immediately turned to the origin of the voice, making the spokesperson stutter, "Uh, isn't my speech a fact? Aye, right?" He pointed to the rickety wagon that was already approaching perfectly.
The wagon wheels were swaying and looked like they would come off at any moment. Not to mention the other condition of the protector covering his wagon is more grungy than a washcloth. Gradually everyone nodded in agreement with the man's words. The wagon was more apprehensive than a beggar on the outskirts of town.
However, the state of the rickety wagon was not the main reason that attracted public attention. The real reason is that the wagon came from the East.
The breeze blew gently flying the barrier cloth on the wagon showing a man carving something inside. His expression looked as calm as Lake Kelimutu without caring about the surrounding noise.
Not much different from the steering chair, filled by Mapan who was seriously calculating expenses, he was even more unconcerned about the criticism. Actually, Mapan's ears were still buzzing because he had overdosed on hearing Weed's screams while crossing the Baruk Mountains. His ears consume Lion's Roar too often to get close to the point of neurosis.
This shout was different from the Warrior's battle cry that benefited the allies and suppressed the enemies. It seemed that Lion's Roar was merely a skill whose usefulness was limited. Although Lion's Roar was only a less obvious skill, but the level increase was very fast. It was evident from one long shout Weed had increased his level quickly. Up until now he had reached the Advance stage of level 3.
In contrast to Weed's success, Mapan vowed in the future that he would not adventure with a Warrior if he still wanted to maintain mental health. A month with Weed alone he was almost crazy especially if this incident had to happen again, no idea how long he would hold back.
To pass through the Baruk Mountains took almost a full month, until finally reached the Britten Alliance Kingdom. On the way they meet ferocious monsters that are ready to prey at any time.
Once upon a time when it was unlucky they would meet a giant spider that spoiled the lunch event. Then the misfortune will last some time when the monsters that come inexhaustibly, there is a flock of Basilisk, Ogre and various other dangerous monsters. Until one day made Mapan vomit unable to resist the bloodsickness.
In addition to bad days, there are also the funniest days that Mapan will always remember with all his body. At that time, they were soaking in a lake. At first the day was a lot of fun because they had just found a 4 kg goldfish.
Mapan was overjoyed to find a windfall after days of dabbling with monsters, "What's the beef cooked with?" When he looked back he could not help but laugh at the end.
Behind him Weed was down with a sad face due to tripping over the roots. But, the situation did not last long, Mapan's face immediately paled when he found out that the cause of Weed's fall was not the root but the water demon who was rampaging because the territory was dirty. Instantly tied Weed's ankle and pulled him up to hang in the air.
Mapan admitted that the incident was so funny that he forgot that his life was on the edge, he could laugh freely watching the suffering of Weed who screamed loudly while hanging like enjoying an extreme vehicle. Soon, there was a fierce battle between life and death.
Since then, Mapan has been very careful about the surroundings. After all, there was no place that was truly quiet in the Baruk Mountains, this place was hell for weak people like him.
Not to mention, the invasion of the Lycanthrope that more and more days bring allies. Weed had to fight desperately for more than 10 hours, after a state of calm then Mapan could free himself from his misgivings.
But, Mapan was very amazed with Weed, even though the obstacles came endless he was able to carve all the jewels he had. The hard work of his new partner is really worth a thumbs up.
To be honest, the intermediate stage Sclupture Mastery skill could not improve easily. Thanks to the help of quality materials, Weed was helped when increasing the level of his profession.
Now his Sclupture Mastery had already reached Intermediate level 4. Better yet, his Handicraft skill also increased to Intermediate level 6. The growth of Handicraft skills will affect other skills. Even the Handicraft skill could be said to be the second most important skill after the Sclupture Mastery skill.
"Unbelievably, the people are so many more than I imagined." This was Weed's first impression of Tomlin city. Although this city was in the Eastern suburbs, but the number of players who sheltered it was overwhelming.
"That's right, this is the center of the continent." Weed finally realized the fact that they had set foot in the center of the world. It would obviously be very different from the Rosenheim kingdom which was just one of the border states.
Mapan smiled slightly, he turned to Weed for a moment, "It seems like this is the first time you've left Rosenheim Kingdom towards the center of the continent."
"true."
Mapan stopped his busy life choosing to extend the conversation with Weed, "I have traveled to many countries to expand the social network. From this I realized that the Rosenheim Kingdom was the kingdom that had the least number of human populations. It cannot even be compared to the Brent kingdom in the North which is famous for having a small human population."
"This is because starting a game in an empire with a large population will bring many benefits."
"But why did you start in the fringe kingdom?"
"Simple, the city center does not give freedom when adventuring."
"Ah, true as well, life in the city center is not as easy as imagined."
Based on a lot of information. The center of the city was the dwelling place of his prestigious guilds. They were the ones who mastered some special dungeons with the idea of ownership.
When a guild took ownership rights over a dungeon, it would automatically have many advantages. First, the guild members would get 20% extra EXP. Second, if the guild is large enough, wherever its members go it will be supported by the name of the guild until it gets special treatment.
While non-guild people cannot enter a dungeon that already has ownership without certain restrictions. This is what often causes wars between guilds. It has been proven from the activities of the guild that developed in the Britten Alliance, for example the invasion of Tambun castle.
Weed took a deep breath, 'This has nothing to do with me. I don't have time to take care of guild battles. Their ego is too high to conquer.'
The crowd of people paved the way for Weed and Mapan's wagon to pass by while still discussing about the origin of the rickety wagon's arrival.
"Eyyy, maybe you saw it wrong!"
"It doesn't seem to."
"uh?"
While the two people in it remain loyal to ignore the various expressions aimed at them. There will be no end if the view of the people. They have more important business than taking care of others.
The wagon does not seem to stop dampening the crowd. Wherever he passed by would be a long hot topic. Now they were heading to a bourse shop in a remote village while being accompanied by the debate of the people who passed by.
Soon Weed and Mapan finally reached their destination. Since the store was located in a remote village, the shop was relatively small.
Upon entering the shop they were immediately greeted by the bright smile of a gray-haired man. "Welcome, can someone help you, master wanderer?"
"I came to sell some stuff." Mapan spoke first.
The shopkeeper's smile grew brighter, "May! Traders will be highly appreciated. So, what kind of stuff do you want to sell, merchant master?" This time he changed his call to Mapan.
"Many things." From the wagon Mapan took out all the foodstuffs such as cheese and olive oil bottles. "These items are for sale."
"Omm! If I'm not mistaken, these items are from Rosenheim Kingdom right?"
"Rubber."
"Very unexpected will the arrival of traders from distant countries. You must have worked so hard transporting him here. That's why per-fruit I'll appreciate 4 silver and 8 silver."
Mapan closed both eyes tightly, trying to explore all the feelings in his heart. "okay." Finally his shoulders felt light. During the trip, his stomach was not only nauseous from blood fishy, but also nauseous from the disgusting smell of cheese and olive oil. Every time the cart stepped on the bulge, his stomach felt like it was going to vomit. Royal Road has an incredible level of realisticness that torments Mapan down to the real world.
The shopkeeper counted the amount of merchandise in front of him, "I'm very happy. These items are very hard to find. Well, 470 gold in total, how's the deal?"
"By pleasure!" Mapan benefitted about 200 gold and a fairly high increase in fame through the transaction. 'In the end, the long and difficult journey I went through got satisfactory results.'
Mapan's smile looks more detached, however, the greatest happiness as a Merchant is the nuance of success and satisfaction when getting rich after going through hard work.
Next it was Weed's turn.
Mapan did not cover up the envy of his partner. The food that he sold alone earned a profit of this magnitude. He could not imagine how much profit would be gained from jewelry. Mapan powerless swallowed the salivae several times, 'The gemstones were carved in such a way by Weed's own hands, how lucky.'
Weed's fingers began to open the backpack. From there came a variety of jewelry that made all women would be willing to lick Weed, there were bross, bracelets, necklaces and others.
The shopkeeper's mouth did not stop being astonished, "Excellent! A wuahhh! A wuahhh! It's beautiful!" If left for much longer, maybe his throat will be choked by flies.
Instantly the store was immediately crowded by the comments of the players. Their reaction was not much different from that of the shopkeeper, astonished.
"Wuahhh jade!!!"
"The color is so beautiful, it reminds me of your eyes."
Everyone could not take their eyes off Weed's jewelry, the more fascinated the beauty became. The reaction was not surprising. Because the Merchants who visit the stock store in the city of Tomlin are on average relatively low levels. This will be their first experience seeing jewelry.
"Mu-pearl! There's ruby too. The other one, if I'm not mistaken, is a sapphire!"
"Where did they get the treasure?"
"Obviously not from dreamland!"
Weed's corner of the eye turned briefly at the shopkeeper before finishing his activities, "How much do you dare pay me?"
The store owner took one piece of jewelry to observe carefully. Before long his expression showed rejection, "Honestly, this kind of precious jewelry is impossible to sell in a city as small as this."
"So?"
"What if this was the case, go to a big city and sell it at a jewelry store."
Chief Mapan nodded in agreement with the shop owner's argument, "True Weed. Jewelry is categorized as luxury items. Rather than being sold in a small town, it would be more profitable to sell it in larger cities where the economy is more advanced. And again, if you sell it at a jewelry store, I'm sure you'll make a better profit."
"Is that so?"
"Yes!" The shopkeeper pointed at Mapan cheerfully, "That's what I mean. I thought you were an experienced merchant."
When Mapan and the owner started to get into a relationship, Weed was busy repackaging his precious treasure into a backpack. He began to think about the advice the store owner was giving.
Each city has a different value for jewelry. Actually, Weed had expected this, he had deliberately taken out the jewelry to check the market price in the Britten Alliance. He is a very careful person about money and friends.
After that, Weed and Mapan again filled the wagon with special items from Tomlin city. They just left after finishing all the business in this city.
Various players witnessed Weed and Mapan's departure towards the West using rickety carts. Even after they were completely gone from the city, the discussion about them became a hot topic that would somehow last for how long.
"How high do you think the jewelry will be?"
"Unimaginable, it must be very, very high, even a store of this size can not afford it."
"I'll bet the price will make you hang."
"Aise! You have a point!" They looked at me and laughed together.
"Where did the two men come from?"
"She said from the East! But, from that direction there was only the paradise of monsters, the Baruk Mountains."
"Oh. Huh uh?! Baruk Mountains?! No way! How could? They look even weaker than us."
"We? You're the weak one!"
"Y yangban! Oho! I just remembered! The shopkeeper said of Rosenheim Kingdom. The gemstone was imported from the Rosenheim Kingdom, meaning it was true they were from the East."
"But where did they carve her?"
"Where do I know, I'm not his mother."
"Dad! You suck!"
"Yahaha!"
Action is chasing each other.
