Weed waited in silence, but his back felt hot like a laser. Indirectly feeling the sharp glances from outside.
One by one the passing avians stopped in front of the store just to watch Weed, like a monkey running away from the zoo.
"I heard he was a human being." When crowding seems to be less if not followed by activities with berotbah ria.
"It just seems strange. Kasian she must have been very difficult while eating because her beak was flat."
"Not only that. Look carefully, her body is not even hairy either. Can't imagine how cold it is when winter comes."
"It must have frozen, the box." The Avian shuddered in horror as she hugged her own body.
No normal Avian would enjoy the cold. From their point of view, Weed looked like a weak Avian who would die at any moment from freezing.
An Avian in Rosenheim, or in any city in the underworld, would attract many people as well. But in Lavias, Avian City, it was Weed the man who became the main spectacle.
"This is what you asked for."
The shopkeeper took out several armors, a shield, two hammers, and five different swords. Since Weed was not using a shield, so he immediately turned his gaze towards the sword and armor. After all, his pocket only kept 70 gold from selling loot items of lizard monsters.

Weed again sighed, "It was normal but the price was abnormal."

Weed stopped looking around, then shook his head. The price was truly above reason, although it was no surprise that this was an Avian city, where the arrival of humans was rare. Plus items like Clay Sword and Sword of the Dusk Wraith were high-class items, but in the Serabourg Fortress they were half cheaper than here.
If Weed bought here instead of profit it was lucky. Better to end it well. "I don't have enough money right now, so I won't buy anything."
"Ohh, next time come here again. But I can't guarantee, these items could have been sold before your return, so it's better you make some money as soon as possible." The shop owner sounded disappointed.
Weed's team was the only human nomads in Lavias, and doing business was his main focus. The goal of Weed was to draw as much profit as possible. If possible he could even cut off the wealth stored in Lavias.
Weed left the shop, continuing his journey east of the city.
On the outskirts of the city stretches a vast green field that extends all the way to the hills at the end there.
"Chirp's Chirp!"
"The cheese!"
"Tweet Tweets!"
Cute Avian children were singing together, they were lined up neatly perched on a clothesline. Among them were yellow chicks, looking the most adorable in Weed's eyes.
Leisurely Weed walked up to them, then, "Hiya?" he was trying to captivate the hearts of these little avians. But they just giggled and gave no more in return. Like babies in general who only respond superficially when entertained. They were still plain babies who understood nothing but giggling and crying.
"Good day."
"Hi!"
"Hello!" Not stopping there, Weed was like a friendly village chief and attentive to his people. He greets every Avian that walks by. Trying to do whatever can be done. Although often ignored but there are also those who reply to his greetings cheerfully.
One of the Avians who had tempted Weed while in front of the weapon shop, excitedly asked. "Hello! you're a wanderer I've never seen before. Are you among the powerful people who came from the underworld?"
Weed shook his head with a friendly smile, "Ah no-no! I'm not strong enough now. Although I love peace and admire this beautiful city of heaven, I also respect military art. Because strength is also needed to keep the peace of a beautiful and peaceful city like this."
"agree! I feel the same way. I happen to have a request, I'm sure you can fulfill it. To be honest, Lavias is not as peaceful as it seems. This city was an ancient plain, where there was a great evil nesting beneath its soil. They are gathering strength to destroy us. Will you help me?"
The Undead of Lavias!
The undead hid behind the depths of the City of Heaven, Lavias. The Avian residents could not sleep well due to the terrible wailing sounds of the undead. If you come back after killing approximately 30 Skeleton Soldiers in the Underground Passage, good things might be waiting for you.
Difficulty Level: D
Reward: Unknown
Quest Conditions: Failure will lower the level of closeness with the Avians.
Weed and his team certainly did not expect that the City of Heaven was more than an ordinary city, which had not been touched by humans. He was only hoping to buy or obtain a unique item that could not be found in the Serabourg Fortress.
They assumed that a quest related to Rosenheim Kingdom was the best quest they could get.
Surprisingly, there was a hunting ground in this City of Heaven. Not to mention, it was a rare undead hunting ground. The Skeleton Soldier was level around the 80s.
Weed was silent for a moment and shook his head. "I see, actually defeating evil is the goal of my life. But I'm not alone here, my friends are waiting somewhere. I'll be back after conferring with them."
Weed continued to tour the city and returned to his greetings with the Avians he had met on the street.
Most of the new Avians first saw a human wanderer. Weed's existence in the middle of the market was becoming a hot topic in Heaven City. Avians flock to the market just to see it. Not a few of them gave Weed a quest. And most of the quests had to do with the undead that haunted the City of Heaven.
It was not long for Weed to get close to the residents. They even had a light conversation together. There was a good thing Weed was good at saying sweet things, everyone liked him. Even some young Avians bravely sat on his lap.
Through this conversation Weed was trying to extract information about Lavias underground area, the road to get there, and others related to undead quests. He was sure that all of his comrades would get the same quest.
The underground area of Heaven City was basically a war zone. The majority of its inhabitants are Skeleton, Death Knight, Demonic Warden, Dullahan, Lich, Specter, and Shade.
Dullahan was extremely strong, it was the perfect undead type. Not only were the high-leveled around 140, their attacks were extremely fast, their combat capabilities were extremely high. This is what makes them so hard to beat.
As for Lich, specializing in black magic. They had high intelligence, and experts fled if being cornered.
And Death Knights, as the name implies they are known as death demons, who always ride horses, like Ringwraith from the film The Lord of the Ring. Their level is close to 200. Death Night is a nightmare!
Weed's heart was pounding, never expecting such a powerful undead to overshadow Heaven City. Instantly he remembered Pale's words before they split, about the beautiful but poisonous ranunculus flower.
'Ah, the EXP I love!' Weed smirked a little. As usual, he was not afraid but excited. His instincts said that a quest as difficult as this would bring a decent profit. So his heart rejoices.
"Sya la la la." While humming a little, Weed was still coolly surrounding the endless City of Heaven. Both hands he folds behind the body.
A while later, Weed took a few steps back, feeling he had missed something interesting. When it stopped, he looked up to stare back at the large signboard above a gate.
The Beginner Training Hall!
Unknowingly both of his feet stepped into that gate. He felt like there was a mystical force inviting him there, who knows and why.
"Welcome. Oh you're a human!" Greeting the spirit instructor, he smiled but did not look smiling due to his hard beak, only his eyes showed expression. His hair is very striking because it looks like a rooster jago, as well as his body.
"I happened to pass by here and stopped by to say hello. I've completed the Beginner Training Class in Rosenheim Kingdom." Weed started the angler conversation.
All Instructors in the Training Hall uphold anyone who respects military art and hates evil. They will give some fame to those who qualify at the Training Hall.
Weed had already entered the Training Hall, in Rosenheim Kingdom. There he managed to build a good relationship with the Instructor. Thanks to that, he obtained some useful information. But the reaction he received at the Training Hall Lavias was far from his expectations.
"Mph?" The Avian instructor was holding back a laugh. His eyes showed a tingly feeling even though his beak remained silent.
"Cannot be. It's impossible for you to complete Beginner Training." He looked at Weed from head to toe, "You know, it's not as brilliant as your whole body showing proof of what you're saying." Pointing her own face while turning her 360°.
"They only have a Basic Training Hall." The instructor chuckled as if to say 'I guessed it'.
Weed's eyes lit up as if there was fire inside, Basic Training Hall! This place is the next stage!" Again luck sided with him, no one who was as lucky as him, could happen to find the second stage of the Training Hall after passing the basic stage. It could be said that fate was on her side.
Weed's spirit flared up, "May I try Beginner Training once?"
"Have. Those who have completed Basic training have the right. But, the training here was very different from the Basic Training Hall in the Serabourg Fortress. The risk of danger is higher, so don't push yourself too hard."
"I want to try it!" Firmly Weed was full of spirit.
"Tried? You mean practice?"
"Yes!"
The instructor marveled at Weed's tenacity, he finally opened up a little. "Your spirit is amazing. Then follow me."
"Good." Weed started to follow the instructor.
He led Weed to a building behind the Training Hall. The entrance looks terrible, eagle-shaped beak that opens wide as if ready to eat prey. Weed drove calmly preparing to pass through the entrance into the pitch-black passageway.
Suddenly the instructor stopped suddenly at the door, "All you have to do is pass through this hallway, and exit safely to the exit at the end there. Simple right? But, combat skills would not be able to be used. My advice, don't light a fire, it'll make it too easy. No, it's very easy."
"Understanding." Weed replied briefly. He could not wait to try out what kind of training was in front of him.
After the instructor nodded then Weed entered the half-door into the dark passageway. He did not hold back directly speeding up his pace.
At first, nothing made Weed anxious. However, the deeper he stepped his confidence slowly faded. His mind raged, starting to be curious about the contents of the passageway.
Rather than die of curiosity it is better to fulfill the original desire not to break the rules. Weed used his hands and feet to feel the path ahead of him. Since it was so dark, he would not know what would ensnare him in this passageway, it was better to be prepared. Suddenly
PYIING!
Weed reflexively lowered his head following an instinct that said there was a slash attack. Sure enough, not long later he felt some strands of his hair that were cut down fell to the face. And he realized his last calm was over.
'An attack? Nicely done!' His blood seemed to boil after being pumped too vigorously by the heart.
Weed had already pulled his iron sword, confidently thrusting it towards the front. Although he could not see, he could feel something approaching.
CLANGS!
The iron sword clashed against something made of metal. Judging from the resulting damage, the attack was not blocked by the shield. But the body of the enemy is as hard as a rock!
Swush!
"From right!" Weed could feel the attack coming, relying on the sound of the air being cut off. Now he believes that the next attack will come from the right, because his instincts say so.
Iron Sword Weed moved as if he had a mind of his own. His swing moved quietly to fend off the attacks in the darkness. A person who has no experience of practicing swordsmanship in real life will not be able to make this smooth move. No, maybe even when the first attack came, his head was instantly slashed.
'Ten, maybe more!' thought Weed.
A series of attacks came trying to destroy Weed's defenses.
"Yatz!"
Weed shouted in spirit while jumping high. As the roll landed on the ground, he quickly slashed to the side to aim for the opponent's ankle.
Sparks scattered, beautifying the darkness of the hallway. It was as if sprinkling fire fighting spirit both sides. As his iron sword scratched something made of iron, for a moment, the area there was clearly visible.
Weed finally knew there were dozens of barbarians dressed in full steel encircling him. They were fully clothed, some holding swords, sticks, hammers, axes, sticks, and mace.
"Damn!" A chill ran through Weed's spine, as his blazing spirit had been extinguished, like a candle in a rushing wind.
But the Barbarian attack did not end. Weed could fend off some incoming attacks, but within the pitch-black passageway it was impossible for him to handle all attacks at once.
An attack landed on his back, and threw him to the ground. The Barbarians huddled like hyenas directly attacking again from all directions
...****...
"You failed." Hearing the Instructor's voice, Weed slowly stood up. His whole body hurts.
'What kind of place is this?' Weed's eyes ran around staring, he finally realized he had returned to the Training Hall entrance. It must be the instructor who had brought him back here.
Weed felt his HP drastically reduced. He was attacked by the masses until his HP remaining was less than 30, even a small clap could kill him. Fortunately, his body was not injured, so his HP would not decrease anymore thanks to blood loss.
"This is what happens when those who do not have enough coercive ability challenge this place. I saved you this time, but if you try again, you'll die." The instructor looked to scold Weed not for his disdain, but rather for his advice as an instructor in the Training Hall.
Weed shook his head to calm down, then asked, "Do I have to be of a higher level in order to succeed?"
"Not that. Infinite Steel Man adjusted the strength to the level of his challenger."
"So that means my true abilities aren't strong enough yet."
The instructor shrugged both shoulders while smiling resignedly, "That's how."
"How long has it been, since I got in?"
"About 4 hours."
"Daddy! My friends are waiting for me. I'll definitely be back." Weed promised the instructor and left the Training Hall to head to the designated meeting point.
After exiting the gates of the Beginner Training Hall, Weed immediately sprinted at maximum speed. After getting closer to the meeting point, he was relieved to see all his party members who had gathered all together. They were anxiously waiting for him.
After seeing Weed's nostrils in the distance they all looked elated, instantly surpassing full of vigor.
Especially Surka, she's not afraid to jump like a kind of kindergarten, "Weed over here!"
Before long Weed finally almost reached the rendezvous point, but he had stopped the sprin, busy calming down his dashed life, due to impromptu sports.
"Guard!" Surka exclaimed, quickly running towards him.
"I'm sorry I'm late" Weed said apologetically, but he was still a little bored.
"We found a great quest!" Romuna spread out her hands wide to describe how big a quest they got.
"We're waiting for you to come back, Weed. So, we can all decide whether we should accept it or not." Pale glanced at Romuna for a bit, looking to fail to focus as the girl's bulging cheeks looked extremely adorable.
When they split up at this intersection earlier, all the other members of his party had been exploring Lavias in earnest, to gather as much information as possible.
First, how to get back to the underworld. They could use an item called The Feather of Lightness. The good news is that the item is very easy to find in any store, of course only in Lavias. Its function will slow down the descent of falling objects.
They could use the item to jump from Lavias. It might have been fun for Weed who liked the extraam challenge, but it would have been a terrible experience for someone with acrophobia like Surka.
The second is a bit of disappointing news. It turned out that Weed's party wasn't the first player to find Lavias. Yes, although they had expected this when they first set foot in Lavias, there was no notification from the stat window. But they still felt disappointed after knowing the truth firsthand.
Next up is the quest!
Irene had found a quest to kill 20 Skeleton Knights. The reward was a Ring that increased the level of Mana regeneration by 10%.
Of course, the Skeleton Knight was a difficult monster to deal with, with their levels ranging from the 100s. However, the team felt tempted by the prize. After all, a ring that increased the level of mana regeneration was extremely rare. Its selling price in any major city in the Versailles Continent was priceless!
"Where's the place?" weed asked, also interested in the reward.
Like that, they received a quest to kill the Skeleton Knight.
You were the first to discover the Memphis Dungeon!
Gift: Fame +200
• double EXP and double rate drop items daily for a week.
• the first monster killed will drop the best quality item, which can be dropped by the monster.
Stat Window immediately surprised Weed and friends like a notification of the entry of salary bonuses at the beginning of work. They froze in place.
"Isn't this-" Surka turned to Romuna.
"We're the first visitors!" Romuna exclaimed joyfully, immediately jumping beautifully with Surka. Pale smiled widely at their behavior as well as being happy because of this reality.
The hunting grounds that give double EXP are well worth entering, no matter how dangerous. It was a pity to be left behind and lose all that potential EXP.
'Someone else might have come first to Lavias, but unexpectedly they had not come to the hunting ground that the prize was all I don't know. It was impossible for them to be unable to find this place but to be able to find a path to the City of Heaven. Better not be too happy just yet.' Weed tried hard to maintain his logicality, but the joy in his heart was undeniable.
"For now, let's take a look. Our main objective is to kill the Skeleton Knight. But, since we need to know if we can do it, we have to hunt down whatever we encounter first. Irene!"
"Yes!" Irene reflexively replied firmly when her name was called by Weed.
"Please support us, especially with your blessing."
"Good! And since this place is filled with undead, I will also attack using holy magic."
The priest's Blessing and Holy Magic were fatal to the undead. Holy Magic works to increase damage 1.5 times against different enemies, and provides additional damage if the opponent is undead.
"Let's go." Weed stepped coolly like a true leader.
