The Left Behind Story
35 ~ A Promise

The flowers slowly crept. His eyes were trying to circulate to see the ambiance that felt foreign to him. When you want to get up, the flower head still feels dizzy. “Angh pain .... ” Flower whimpering slowly.

Asha who was waiting for Bunga alone immediately gasped when she heard the Flower moans. “Flower, you're aware, son? What's that hurt? Wait, Mommy call the doctor first.” Asha immediately pressed the Nurse Call button to call the nurse.

“Delay. How come Mommy is here?” bunga asked in surprise when he saw his mother in front of him. For a moment Bunga tried to remember what had happened, why he was currently lying in the hospital.

In his memory he only remembers when Varo invited him to get married. And not until Bunga gave an answer to Varo's question, he could not remember anything more.

Did I pass out last night and then Varo Mama I came here? If yes, then where is Varo at the moment? Has he told you about my illness? Arghj ... Varo's evil! Why should he tell Mommy so soon?

The Flower Chest rose and thumped very fiercely upon seeing the gaze of her Mother. No need to be asked again, Bunga can be sure if the mother has known the disease that is currently eating away at her body.

“Bunga ... Why do you have to keep your illness a secret to Mommy, Son? You are so happy!”

Flowers immediately bowed weakly. Yes, just say if the Flower is too hearty because it hides the disease. However, all that Bunga did because he did not want to make his parents very worried about him,

“Munda .. sorry. ”

Asha tried not to let out a tear for her disappointment, because she did not want to corner the Flower that was currently sick. Trying to understand, so that Bunga does not feel guilty, because Asha knows very well how the nature of his son who will always blame himself when faced with a problem.

Not long after, the nurses and a doctor entered the Flower room to check the state of the newly awakened Flower.

“Sorry, Mom. We want to check the patient first, so please wait outside,” said Mada doctor.

Asha simply nodded slowly and instantly upgraded the room. It felt very disappointed because the Flower was not open to the disease that was currently eating away at his body. Even just a small chance the Flower can survive to live.

Outside there was Varo and also the father of Bunga who had just met the doctor Mada to ask for an explanation for the disease that was gnawing at his daughter.

“Honey, how?” asked Asha who was now sitting next to her husband.

Askara let out a long breath. It's hard to explain, because it hurts.

"Darling, you heard me, right? What does the doctor say?” repeat Asha with curiosity.

“Bunga Condition is deteriorating, Honey. Although she has done chemotherapy, but does not guarantee to remove her disease. Flower disease has entered the final stage. That's the absence there will be no hope of Flowers to heal.”

Instantly Asha's chest felt tight, as if her chest cavity was narrowed. It was even hard to swallow the saliva.

“What? Final stadium? That means ... ” Asha could not to continue her speech. His heart ached to accept the coming reality.

“Flower will not die. I'll try to save the flower. Whatever I will do for the healing of Flowers,” said Askara with earnestness. “Lusa I will send Flowers abroad to do treatment. I'm sure, the Flower will recover from his illness.”

Varo's heart seemed to want to stop beating when the father of flowers said he wanted to bring Flowers abroad to do his treatment. If Flowers really did go away, what would Varo do for Flowers? He will not be able to protect the Flower anymore. However, Varo could not be selfish either. After all the parents of Flowers are the ones who are entitled entirely to Flowers.

...***...

Now in a room just feels quiet, because no one wants to make a sound. Father and Mother chose silence, as did Varo, who did not want to talk anything to Bunga.

“You all why are silent like a statue? Is there something strange about me?” ask Flowers that are trying to melt the atmosphere. However, it did not make his father and his mother open their mouths immediately.

Bunga felt that at this time his parents felt angry because Bunga did not tell his illness. “Dad and mother angry because of Flower disease? Sorry if Bunga can not be a child can make you happy,” said Bunga weakly.

Asha who had been holding back her tears from spilling, had now escaped. “What are you talking about, Bunga? We're not angry. Only we are a little disappointed in you for hiding such a big illness! Why are you doing this, Bunga? You think you can handle this problem well? No Flowers! If something goes wrong, your father and mother are the only ones responsible for you. Flowers ... mother dear to you.” With the rest of the tears, Asha directly hugged the body of the Flower with her sobs.

“Flower is also dear Mother.”

“Flower, why don't you tell your father and mother if you're sick? Don't you think of your father and mother as family? I'll do anything for your recovery, son. The day after tomorrow, I'll take you abroad for treatment. I'm sure you'll be healed,” his father said.

Instantly the Flower instantly released her bundled embrace. “What? Out of country? But Flowers have chemotherapy, Well.”

“Dad knows, but dad wants you to make a full recovery. Chemotherapy only slows down the cycle and will not guarantee your recovery. I've asked my friend for help to find the best treatment place. So you don't worry, you'll get well.”

The eyeballs of Flowers were directly staring at Varo. How can he leave Varo, while Varo is his vitamin. How while undergoing treatment Flower could not survive and he would leave without seeing Varo first. I can't imagine how painful it feels.

Aware of the Flower's gaze, Varo immediately smiled faintly. Trying to give a signal if Bunga must agree with his father's wishes, because Varo knows if Bunga's father will give the best for his son.

Varo ... how can you agree with father's wishes? Aren't you thinking about how my fate would be without you? I definitely won't be able to take Varo! What if I die there?

“Flower, believe me you will heal and we will age together according to your wishes. I'm sure you'll be able to heal. Go then! Here I will wait for you. And by the time you return, I'll marry you straight away,” Varo promised Bunga. It was as if Varo knew what the Flower was thinking.

“But Varo .... ”

“Flower, if you love me, you must heal! I'll keep an eye on you from here.”

It was the hardest decision. The flower had to go for her recovery. He promised to go home without his illness again.

“Good. I'm leaving, but when I get back, you have to marry me right away. How?”

“Iya. I pledge. But you must also promise me, you must return immediately without your illness. How?”

The flower nodded slowly as a sign of her agreement. “I will definitely go home for you, Varo.”
