After the grand meeting was disbanded, all residents returned to their homes. Dracias invites Dogma to stop by somewhere.
“This is a lake where I spend a lot of time with my friends. I'm friends with vampires and humans, for us that's normal. We live happily side by side. However, without us knowing it turns out that outside Vlaris and our neighboring human villages there are humans who are greedy for power. They are killing their own nation. They fight with humans. And make our nation suffer a long time to be forced to become a human who has a short life.” Dracias told the story while bouncing a small rock into the water.
“What do you mean?” Dogma did not understand the direction of their conversation.
“Tell me, great God. Ever in the recorded history of our nation's Garden of Heaven, the vampires of the Vlaris hurt humans or other creatures in such a way. Before I of course.” Dracias quickly corrected his words before being protested by Dogma.
“Of course not, have I not told you, the people of Vlaris hold fast to the truth and dignified as high as the gods in the Garden of Heaven, The One gives you that honor.” Answer Dogma steadily.
“After becoming human, do the descendants of the vampire nation of Vlaris still maintain the honor of his ancestors? Is not the human heart easily tarnished? While I who is a vampire can also be tarnished.” Dogma begins to understand the concerns in Dracias' mind.
“You as the generation of their ancestors must make sure they do not take revenge with humans or do other bad things. Cultivate a noble nature as your nation did thousands of years ago. We've got eight years before they all become vampires again, during which time you can give them understanding.” Answer Dogma while patting Dracias on the shoulder.
They sat in silence for some time while enjoying the moonlight in the reflection of the lake water for a moment before deciding to return to the village chief's house.
“Uncle, thank you. I feel my body stronger, I can run home from the meeting place without feeling tired.” Veny welcomes Dogma and Dracias.
“Actually Veny's body is very weak from birth, He is easily sick and easily tired when doing any activity.” The woman who appeared behind the door.
Dracias smiled at the sight of it, This is the first time Dogma has seen the Dracias smiling.
“Ha ha ha apparently He's a vampire who has feelings.” Dogma nodded with a smile glancing at Dracias.
Dracias who was aware that Dogma saw him smiling went straight into the room without a word.
“Is Uncle Dracias angry that I drank his blood?” Veny asked innocently, His mother just smiled in admiration for his daughter.
“No dear, the uncle is just not used to receiving compliments.” Dogma replied with a small laugh.
This full moon Dracias no longer needs human blood, just now they were on the shores of Lake Dracias asking for Dogma's blood. He has become a new generation vampire. This full-fledged number of new-generation vampires is two people, the experimental Veny and the ancestral Dracias of the vampire Vlaris.
Dracias and Dogma prepare to give their blood at the coming full moon. By the village chief they were served a variety of high-quality food. Being treated was new to Dracias since he wandered out of Vlaris. Vlaris will always be his home.
On a clear morning, Dogma plans to travel around the Vlaris again. There are still many places he has not been to. He heard that Vlaris has a library that stores a lot of the history of vampire civilization from time to time.
“What is this Dryad house? Maybe the library is inside Dryad's house.” Dogma thought as he watched the giant tree closely.
“Wahai Dryad beautiful tree dweller, let me enter your house.”
Dogma shouted in front of the tree and of course this invited the attention of the citizens who were passing by there but Dogma did not realize it. Once he screams no answer he repeats it again and again. After three repetitions, there was one of the citizens who pity to see him and approach Dogma.
“Sorry Sir, in this tree of history no Dryad occupies it. This tree we have made library since our ancestors.” It was clearly the middle-aged man, and in the distance appeared a few girls were laughing. Dogma blushed in embarrassment realizing his stupidity.
The middle-aged man drove Dogma to the other side of the giant tree and knocked on the door three times and the door opened. The door is colored in line with the bark of the giant tree, which is a sign of the door is just a red door handle hanging there.
“Master, the door is open. Please go to the table in the middle of the room to ask the book you are looking for in the row which is easy to find.” After giving a brief explanation and Dogma thanked him, the man immediately left.
“Wah, I didn't think it was so wide the inside of this tree. This library is the largest library I have ever seen on earth.”
He immediately followed the middle-aged man's advice and went to the round table in the middle of the room. There was an old grandmother sitting while occasionally her head fell due to drowsiness. Although Dogma seemed a little hesitant, he still went to the grandmother.
“Excuse me grandma,” the granny just woke up from her sleepiness after Dogma called a few times.
“Yes can I help you?” the grandmother asked Dogma in an annoyed tone.
“Sorry to disturb you grandma, I want to dance a book about the history of Vlaris.” Dogma said politely.
“In the third row from north sab number nine. If there's no more leaving. You're intruding.” The grandmother said with a sniffle,
Dogma only smiled wryly at the words of the young brown-robed grandmother.
Although indoors, this library is not hot or humid, because at the end of the tree there are several air ventilation holes. Dogma did not want to make trouble, he immediately went from the front of the grandmother to the north. In the row and sab that the grandmother showed many history books about Vlaris.
“Where do I start from dozens or possibly hundreds of books on this shelf?” Dogma said as he scratched his non-itchy head.
He took the most old and shabby looking book. The book that caught Dogma's attention was called The Crying Vlaris. Dogma took the book to a table on the edge of the room. He opened sheet by sheet carefully.
