The Last Path's

The Last Path's
Presentation Day

After thanking her, Dogma and Freya immediately separated themselves from the Judah family. It was still noon, they did not go straight home, but went to the valley to meet Siry. Once there, they did not see Siry under the tree. Despite calling Siry's name many times towards the top of the tree, but Siry did not appear.

“Try me to fly up the tree to check.” Pati.

“Do not, on the tree many animals live, and we do not know what creatures are there.” Said Pita with worry.

“Relax I will fly with care.” Pati tried to calm Pita down, saying so she immediately flew up.

About five minutes the three of them waited anxiously below, finally Pati appeared.

“What happened? Why are you so long?” The new ribbon appeared immediately inquired by Pita.

“At the top there are all kinds of birds, there are pigeons too, there are harpies like Siry but smaller. But Siry doesn't seem to be there.” Answer Pati.

“Maybe he is away, let's just go home.” Take Freya.

Somehow Freya did not like Siry who seemed familiar with Dogma and Airy who always teased Dogma. They decided to go home through the river in hopes of meeting Airy and asking about Siry's whereabouts, but they found no one in the river.

“So when we went to the market also did not find a one-horned horse and a large bird that has lion legs that usually pacing in the market. It seems like today all magical creatures go somewhere.” Dogma said as he looked around.

“But the little harpy was at his house.” Sela Pati's.

“True, maybe only a few creatures.” Freya.

Day five they became residents of the Phantasia kingdom passed as usual. Picking fruits and vegetables, curing fish, kepasar and so on. What distinguishes this day from other days is that this night is full, it should be a beautiful night with the presence of the goddess of the night but this is not the case in the kingdom of Phantasia. Full night is always scary that never awaited its presence. Except by one creature, Nightwalker. This creature must be patient for approximately twenty-nine days by eating fish until the main food arrives at the full moon. Since five p.m., residents have been ordered not to leave the house.

“Are we going to let Juda die just like that? Is there nothing we can do to save her?” Freya asked Dogma.

Dogma could not answer Freya's question. Dogma knew very well that Freya knew that her question did not need an answer. Starch and Ribbon busied themselves with feathers on their wings. They ate dinner in silence.

“If I cry, who calms Jeni and June. Let the sky take the place of my weeping, let the roar speak of my anger, let the light of the dark goddess of the night watch the passing of my beloved son, let this bone-piercing night wind deliver Judah's soul to heaven.” So he thought over and over again as his tears were about to fall.

Which cry is sadder than the cry in the heart of a mother trying to give up the death of her son. Which story is more poignant than the story of a father who can do nothing when his son's life is on the verge of destiny. Juda's father rose from his seat to his wife who was hugging her two daughters who were still crying. The forty-year-old man hugged the three of them, collapsing was already the defense of Juda's mother, the four of them crying. No matter who had to comfort who, who had to calm who, they only knew they would lose a part of their heart. They just honestly acknowledge their feelings. Even if this night passes, they know that their hearts are no longer intact, their happiness is no longer the same as before.

It repeats itself from the full moon nine years ago until the next full moon. There are hundreds of ‘Juda’ that have been offered, there are hundreds of family cries that have been left behind and there may be hundreds of lies that have been uttered.

The next morning, Dogma immediately headed for the big tree near the waterfall. There were many people, including the Judah family. They came to retrieve the body of Judah who had been without blood to be buried in the cypress forest on the edge of the kingdom of Phantasia. Most residents come just to see without intending to help and attend the funeral of ‘criminals Judae’. Royal soldiers helped carry Juda's body to the funeral. Dogma and Freya decide to attend the funeral.

Unbeknownst to Freya, Pati and Pita on a full night at exactly one night, Dogma goes to meet Nightwalker who is enjoying his performance. As soon as Dogma entered the waterfall area, Nightwalker immediately knew someone was entering his territory and He immediately finished ‘his special dish’ and welcomed guests who came.

On the side of the waterfall there is a very slippery path to get into the cave. Dogma stepped very carefully so as not to fall. Upon reaching the mouth of the dark cave, he saw faintly a light as long as it was getting closer. Dogma stood waiting for the light coming at him to become clearer. The figure of a white-haired man in gray clothes, his body seemed to glow.

Just a quick glance at Dogma looking at the man's face clearly, the figure with an unexpected speed instantly attacked Dogma. Shocked by this sudden attack, Dogma's face was scratched by a sharp nail like the creature's knife.

“Nearly I die.” Dogma thought as he continued to dodge these incessant attacks.

“You are not an easy food to catch heh?” The creature finally stopped its attack for a moment.

“I want to talk.” Reply Dogma calmly.

“No food talks to hunters!”

Nightwalker again attacked Dogma, this time Dogma not only dodged but also counterattacked until he managed to take down Nighwalker. The creature soon awakens and intends to attack the Dogma again, but his intention is undone because seeing the wound on the Dogma cheek has healed quickly as if the Dogma has never been injured.

“You are not human! What do you want to come here?” Seeing Nightwalker being able to talk, Dogma lowered her defenses and walked up to the creature.
