Chapter.4 Mountiles

It was already evening when Ali arrived at Mountiles station, his consciousness had not fully recovered from sleep because it had just been awakened by another passenger who was about to descend through the door that Ali had occupied since leaving earlier this morning.

Finally Ali stepped foot to the exit of the station following other passengers because indeed Ali had never reached this place.

"Where are you going?"ali asked as his feet stepped out of the platform of Mountile station

"It's better to find a food stall to fill the stomach first!"thought later.

After walking for a while finally Ali found a simple food stall, looks clean and the food menu displayed looks very tempting even though only a typical rural menu.

"Si.please bang!"said the waiter let in seemed a little frightened, perhaps because of the appearance of Ali who looked urgently.

Ali's eyes went around looking for an empty table that I thought was rather comfortable to occupy, Ali finally chose one of the empty tables that had been occupied by a middle-aged man.

After Ali put down his backpack, Ali finally chose a simple menu with warm tea so as not to drop his body attacked by the cold of the night.

While waiting for the order food to come, Ali asked the man next to her.

"Sorry sir, may I ask?"ask Ali.

"What's up, son?are you trying to trick me?" asked the man, a little suspicious.

"Ahh..not so sir...!looks I admit are a little bad, but I don't mean ugly..!"sergeant Ali later.

"Ok, okay what's wrong?"tanyanya.

Ali walked ahead of the cashier's shirt, but when he was about to pay uncle Sean prevented him.

"Let's uncle pay for everything, take this as my introduction.Use your money for your living expenses as long as you haven't got a job.!"uncle Sean said as he patted Ali on the shoulder.

"Ba..good uncle, thank you!"reply Ali stammered.

After paying for their meal, Sean's uncle takes Ali to a city bus owned by Sean's uncle, which is parked not far from the food stall.

"Sit down here Al!"uncle Sean's orders.

"No uncle, I'm sitting in the back breathing this fresh night air!"reply Ali later.

"Well, then, but just put your backpack in front of here, or it's big enough to not interfere later if there's a passenger!"uncle Sean's orders later.

"All right uncle!" reply Ali realized his backpack was quite large and could disturb other passengers later.

Soon the bus began to leave the parking lot.

Ali looked back at the dark sky that night from the window of the city bus,...

Back came the shadow of his mother's sad face when shedding tears...

"Mother.forgive me...!"

The bus was slow for Ali.

Then he asked Uncle Sean.

"Why is the road slow uncle?" ask Ali.

"hahaha.you can't wait, boy!" he answered while laughing

"This is while looking for additional passengers li.lumayan if you can for breakfast tomorrow morning, we must be smart in the city if you want to live!"

"the competition in the city is fierce!"uncle Sean explained.

Their conversation halted when the bus stopped and some passengers boarded.

Two young girls and a man in a hat, if they saw they were not far from Ali.

From his stature the two girls were brothers.

The bus again runs though not as slow as it was down the outskirts of Mountiles.

When the bus through a quiet place left right there is only a fence from the factory factory, the bus drove quite fast.

At that time the male passenger who had been boarding turned to Ali and smiled grinning, then suddenly he took out an army knife and pointed it at the two girls while shouting.

"don't do anything or kill me!"

"give me your wallet and all your jewels!"the man said to the two girls beside him.

"Jeez, the bullshit" Ali thought at the time

"he's got a knife, what can I do?"

"where's your man's guts all this time Ali?"

"What after entering the city is your nerve gone?" back in mind Ali was turbulent did not accept the treatment of the man in front of him to the 2 girls.

"hey what the fuck are you picking up people on my bus!" sean's uncle shouted to the man without reducing his bus.

When the girl was about to remove the necklace hanging from her neck, the man in the hat looked a little careless.

Uncle Sean was a little surprised to see from the center mirror above what Ali did without realizing it..

"do we want this man uncle?"ask Ali to Sean.

"you hold on to that sneak like it used to? in front of the police station we'll report it there!"uncle Sean shouted later.

"alright uncle, just calm down!"

"If it's still the kind of fist I can still damage this face a little!"ali said as he glared at the man who turned his head towards him.

"are you okay, miss?"

"we're okay, brother, just a little shock!" answer them both almost simultaneously.

"alright, just calm down everything's under control!" timpal Ali calmed them both down.

Arriving at the police station uncle Sean immediately reported the incident to the police chief there because he happened to be still on duty and had not returned home.

Without waiting for a long time the man was immediately put into a holding cell by 2 other police officers.

After finishing giving evidence as evidence of Sean's uncle, Ali and the two girls say goodbye to continue the journey home.

But suddenly the Chief of Police who had been asking for information to Uncle Sean shouted.

"Wait a minute!"he shouted to the 4 people

Half-running he approached Ali and asked,

"Have we met you?"

"it looks like your face is familiar to me!" said the police chief.

Half-shackled Ali looked at the commander

"I just came from the village sir, where maybe we've met!" ali replied while wrinkling his face in confusion.

"But your face is so familiar to me, where are you from?" the commander was half in disbelief.

"I'm from the area sir, a village called Canyon River!"

"have you ever been there?" ali answered explaining.

The commander was stunned for a moment like disbelief because he felt he did not know the area but Ali's face felt very familiar to him.

"Oh well, maybe I just saw it wrong!"

"In the future, if you need my help, you can just find me, my name is Capt.Ronald!" capt.Ronald explained.

"All right, sir, thank you."

"then we say goodbye!" ali said as he went to leave the capt.Ronald who was still a little distrustful of Ali's answer just now.

After Ali died, the commander returned to the office.

While walking he scratched his head still trying to recall who this Ali was.

"maybe???" he thought with a little smile.

While walking towards the bus they talked about eliminating the nervousness that had been experienced.

"Where are you going home?" uncle Sean asked the two girls.

"we went home to jln.Mawar no.23 uncle!" answer one of the girls.

"ohh not far away anymore!"

"in that case let uncle deliver you to your house, the uncle is afraid of what else happened to you because it was late at night!" uncle Sean said he offered them a little more help.

Ali was just silent as it followed behind them, he felt hesitant to join the conversation out of embarrassment.

"Ali...where are you going?" suddenly Uncle Sean shouted with giggling laughter from the 2 girls he had helped.

Ali who was shocked immediately turned to the voice that turned out to have been standing at the door of the bus behind him, turns out he had passed the bus they were heading to without realizing it

That was because he was also like the commander earlier, while walking to think about where he had met the commander if he felt familiar with him.

Ali smiled and scratched his head to realize his stupidity while walking back towards the bus behind him.

"hahaha.let's go home!" sean's uncle ended his flirtation with Ali.

Not long after that, we reached the road that the two girls were on.

"stop in front of uncle, that green house!" yelled one of the girls.

Due to the coincidence of their house on the side of the road then uncle Sean stopped his bus in front of the house fitting.

"this is your house?"uncle Sean asked while looking at the two girls.

"yes uncle, will uncle and brother stop by first?" ask one of the girls.

"the day is night after all Kasian Ali also just arrived from the village of course tired let alone run out of the same fistfight earlier, maybe next time!"uncle Ali answered frankly.

"good uncle, thank you for helping us!"

Then the girl turned to Ali while saying

"thank you for helping both of us, if there's no big brother we might not make it home!"

"If you have time to play at home, here's my phone number!" he said, handing over a piece of paper to Ali.

Ali accepted it while saying

"my name is Ali.Ali Taye, commonly called Ali or yeye!" terang Ali with the innocence of his village.

Anya approached and whispered something to Ali

"phone me, brother!" he then kissed Ali on the cheek.

Ali who did not expect the incident just fell silent like seeing a ghost, his young blood gasped because it had just been kissed by a girl.

"hahahaha" suddenly the laughter of Uncle Sean exploded, awakening Ali from his daze, while the two girls had gotten off the bus.

"pamaann, don't tease me!"ali yelled at Sean.

The bus went back, Ali looked back at Anya and Mita who were still standing in front of her house looking at those who left her while waving their hands.

Ali could only return the wave of their hands with a smile.

Seeing their house back Ali carried away his wish to remember his mother at home.

"don't be sad anymore ma'am, I'm sure I'll be your pride someday!" batin Ali spoke again

While continuing to see the view of the city at night they went down the road to where Uncle Sean lived.

Uncle Sean also let Ali enjoy the view because he realized Ali had just set foot in the city and maybe he was tired because of his journey from the village.

Did not feel they had reached the residence of uncle Sean, a fairly large plot of rent measuring 3mx6m.

The next morning Ali was introduced to Pak Hendi and Bu Hendi the owner of the contract by Sean's uncle, after meeting some requirements for his eventual stay Ali occupied one of the rented which happened to be empty.

Other rented residents are also friendly to make Ali feel at home there.

After finishing cleaning his room, Ali finally chatted with the other residents while asking if there was a vacancy for him to work at the brand place
