"What's this?"

The voice made Sarah and Nayla stare towards the door, both of them shocked to find out who was coming.

Sarah gulped her saliva with great difficulty, she was really afraid that Alvin would hear her talk with Nayla.

The person who had just come was Alvin. Alvin who had just returned from the office immediately entered his mother's room when he heard a commotion from there.

"Mother, Nayla, what's going on?" ask Alvin. He looked at Nayla and Sarah in turn.

Sarah looked towards Nayla, as did Nayla, she looked at her in-laws.

"So we're talking about who's going to be spending monthly tomorrow" Sarah lied.

"Is that right, Nay?" ask Alvin to Nayla.

"Well, I'll go back to my room" said Alvin.

Just as Alvin stepped foot, he turned back when he accidentally caught something.

"What file is this?" ask Alvin while taking the file that Nayla brought.

Once again Sarah swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. Especially when Alvin took those files and started reading them.

Alvin read all the reports carefully, occasionally staring at the two women in front of him.

"Mother, so the case that happened to Retno's mother a few years ago, it was all mother's?" alvin asked, looking into his mother's eyes. He still could not believe the reports he had read.

"That's .. that's not true, Al. That report file is just your wife's wits. She wants to make you look bad in your eyes" Sarah tried to defend herself by turning it all around.

Alvin looked at Nayla and her mother in turn, he wanted to know which of the two was lying.

Sarah smiles triumphantly as Alvin calls out Nayla's name.

"Nay," call Alvin to his wife.

"Al, I didn't lie about it" said Nayla, who looked back at her husband's eyes.

Alvin took a breath and then exhaled. He looked back at the file that was now in his hand.

"Sorry ." said Alvin.

"So you assume I'm lying?" ask Nayla.

Alvin was still speechless, he saw the file in his hand again. Then he looked back into Nayla's eyes.

"Al, your wife does not know herself. I'm the one who set her up with you, but instead she wants to make your mother look bad in your eyes" Sarah purposely said that to make Alvin trust her even more.

"Al, what you said is not true. I got that report from Retno's mom and Retno's mom got it from ..."

"Enough Mom! I already know everything" said Alvin.

"What do you mean, son? So you don't believe in mom?" ask Sarah by putting on a face that looks oppressed.

Alvin took something from inside his briefcase. He took out a brown envelope that contained a report from the person he had asked for.

At that time Alvin who was about to go home to the office got a call from his man. He is Mr. Anton a good detective in the city. Mr. Anton invited Alvin to meet and requested that their meeting be held outside the group H company area. Alvin immediately met Mr. Anton, after confirming the place for them to have a meeting.

"This is a report that I'm currently getting" Mr Anton said. He handed Alvin a large brown envelope.

Alvin received the envelope and opened it. He began to read one by one the reports given by Mr. Anton.

"Really, Sir. I also met some of the people involved. But unfortunately, Retno's mother the victim did not want to talk. He just said that everything was done well" replied Mr. Anton at length.

"Don't let him not open the case because someone asked for it" Alvin commented.

"It is likely that the man is your father Sir," replied Mr. Anton.

"You mean?" ask Alvin.

"Before the case was closed the late father Tuan met Retno's mother to apologize and the next morning your father retracted his report" replied Mr. Anton again.

"I got that from the person who also worked as a caregiver in the closed home" Mr. Anton explained.

"Then did you get Nayla's data?"

"It's not complete, sir, for sure Nayla is also the child of the orphanage that has been closed," Anton said.

"That means maybe Nayla also knew the Princess?"

"Particularly so. I'll be looking for more information about Nayla" Mr Anton said.

"Thank you sir for the help" said Alvin.

"Do not hesitate because it is my duty" replied Mr. Anton.

"So you investigated your own mother?" ask Sarah with a sigh.

He throws all the papers inside the brown envelope into Alvin's body.

"Mother was wrong, I investigated someone else. But I found another fact" replied Alvin.

"What do you want now?" ask Sarah. He looked at Alvin and Nayla alternately.

"I apologize to Retno's mother!" exciting Alvin.

"Apologies to a lowly woman like her? At any moment, I will never apologize to that woman" Sarah replied.

"Mom, I have a lot of respect for you. I also love my mother with all my heart. If you can't apologize to Retno's mother, I'll take the place of you to apologize" Alvin said.

"Close to you, but that's clear at any moment. I would never apologize to a lowly woman like her, much less because of that woman ..."

"Al, already! don't argue with mom anymore!" Nayla accidentally cuts off her in-laws so that her in-laws don't say anything about Alvin's birth mother. Nayla doesn't want Alvin's disappointment with Sarah to get bigger. Because after all, Sarah has been credited with raising him all this time.

"Setno's mother has forgiven her, too" Nayla added.

"Nay, can I ask for my rights again tonight?" ask Alvin. Nayla was silent, not because she didn't want to. But more because she was embarrassed by her husband's request. Indeed they have done it once, but it happened because Alvin was given medicine by someone.

"Nay," call Alvin.

With a timid face, Nayla nodded.

Alvin began to launch the action by herding Nayla's body to get into bed. They did the next scene there.
