Patience is not an easy thing that can be applied in everyday life, but it is not impossible for someone to have a patient nature.Islam views this patient nature as one of the praiseworthy qualities that must be possessed by those who believe in Allah SWT. An impatient person cannot be said to be a believer,” Novita said.
“First, patience means restraint, as His word:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَع الصَّابِرِينَ
“O you who believe, make patience and prayer your help, verily Allah is with those who are patient.” (QS. Al-Baqarah :153),” connect Novita.
“Secondly, patience means courage, as His word says :
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلَالَةَ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَالْعَذَابَ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ
“They are the ones who buy misguidance with guidance and torment with forgiveness. How dare they oppose the fire of hell.” (QS. Al-Baqarah :175),” connect Novita.
“But ustadzah if we are constantly given trials what should we stay patient?” Ask one of the students.
“trials and calamities that come to him. Believing that God will not test His servant beyond his means. When you get the ordeal, be patient and sincere with what happens. For verily Allah is with those who are patient,” Novita said.
“That's why we also have to be a lot of grateful,” said Novita.
“Sometimes Allah SWT wants us to fall, get sick, lose and cry so that we understand the true meaning of patience & gratitude. Or just to realize that happiness, victory and success need a pool of sweat and tears. If God grants us our prayers without any trials, we may never know his patience, so the trials that come to us must be his wisdom, trying, praying, and trying, and thank God that everything will be fine,” Novita smiled.
Apparently Fikri listened to the material that Novita gave to all the students, Fikri smiled, then left...
