Bonchap 7-1

Feeling free to do anything without interference makes Hiko feel at home staying a few days at Ruby's house. Luckily Almeer also felt at home in Malang, even the little boy begged to be given permission to live several days in the boarding school owned by his grandfather. Hiko had expected that her son would be happy to be in the boarding school because he would get a lot of knowledge that he had not yet obtained here.

For Hiko it is very nice to be alone with his wife, but not with Ruby. Within a day, he could call Malang just to ask what his son was doing. He felt there was less to the absence of Almeer nearby. He had intended to follow to Malang, but Abi and Umminya forbid. Even Kyai Abdullah and Nyai Hannah hoped that Almeer would stay with them.

"It's been a week, Mom. Almeer doesn't want to go home yet. How's school?" Ruby looked at the photo on Almeer's study desk. Since Aisyah had returned, they decided to return home this morning.

"You want to go to Malang?"

Ruby nodded quickly. "If we go there, he'll come home."

"Or we move to Malang. You open an animation company in Malang, so don't have to be whittling again with si—"

"Hush!" Ruby pinched Hiko's stomach to make the man grimace sick and amused, "you're that, Mas" he added.

"Yes, I know that, Mom. So don't talk about Mas Abriz, yeah! Yuk, find a ticket to Malang." Ruby picked up her phone and opened one of the online ticketing apps. "When is there a spare, when?"

"I don't have any important appointments, if only a few days can be handled by friends."

"Tomorrow?"

Hiko smiled shadyly then nodded while rubbing his wife's cheek. Ruby turned her attention to the screen.

"There's a six at eight, Mas. Which one do you want?"

"Eight hours, yeah. Let's not rush."

"Yes, Mom!" Ruby started choosing airlines and filling in her data. "Hughh!" Suddenly Ruby felt nauseous, she covered her mouth with one palm.

"Why, Ruby?"

Ruby shook her head slowly and smiled disdainfully. "Sorry, Mom."

Hiko checked Ruby's forehead with the back of her hand. "Not feeling well? Or catch a cold because last night we were too long—"

"Hush!" Ruby shut Hiko's mouth. His face was red in light of the overnight activities they had been doing for longer.

"I'm making warm tea, yeah!" Feeling guilty, Hiko immediately came out without waiting for his wife's answer.

His footsteps stopped right before stepping on the stairs. He was silent, remembering something coming up to the calendar hanging not far from him.

"Yet last month is still. I've been through a lot too." Hiko muttered with her own thoughts."Don't-don't!" Just when he turned his back to the room, Ruby was seen running small towards the bathroom with his mouth shut.

"Ruby!" Hiko ran after his wife and waited in front of the closed bathroom door. "I'm in, By!" Unfortunately Ruby locked the door.

Chequek!

"Ruby Ruby!" Hiko clasped his wife's two shoulders and opened the bathroom door, "are you carefree? A little dizzy? Body tired?"

Ruby who was still uncomfortable with her stomach only nodded weakly. He did not spit out much food that he had eaten a while ago, but his body was very weak and what Hiko asked just now began to feel.

"Your question makes me suspect, Mas," he said as he left.

"Where are you going?" stalking wife.

"Bikin' warm tea, Mas."

Hiko quickly confronted Ruby who was about to go down the stairs. "Let me, Ruby!" emphatically.

Hiko's attitude, of course, makes Ruby confused. "Mas, why the hell?"

"Here here ...." Hiko embraces Ruby and takes her to the front of the calendar. He was standing right behind his wife. He slightly bent down, wrapped one arm around Ruby's stomach and one hand pointed at the calendar.

"This is .. our wedding day." He pointed to one of the dates on the calendar. A moment later his fingers shifted. "Here, you're menstruating first after our marriage."

Ruby just nodded and still faithfully heard what theory her husband wanted to convey.

"Truuuuuus ...." His fingers shifted again in the following month, then formed an empty vortex on a date. "It's supposed to be your period again, right?"

The woman began to understand her husband's intentions. He turned around and smiled, making the man stop theorizing. "We try the test first yes, Mas," he said as he cupped Hiko's cheek.

The man's lips smiled widely. "I make warm tea, then I stay at the pharmacy to buy a test, huh?"

"Mas can just go, I can make my own tea. There's Bi Inah too, right?"

"Nggak—"

"From I don't want a test?" threaten Ruby's.

"OK okay!" Hiko raised both of her hands, "i'm submissive!" it made Ruby chuckle.

He drove his wife carefully down the stairs to the kitchen. After making sure to Bi Inah to help Ruby's needs, he rushed out.
