Since getting the story from Inah, Ruby's mind feels crowded. Her tears continued to flow and she soon met her husband and son. He did not think at all if such a small child could already think about the feelings of others and choose to harbor his own feelings.

That must be heavy. His heart is very sad. As for asking, he was unable to do so. Ruby should be careful when discussing this. If it wasn't the boy who started to open up, he couldn't have started it. It's something very sensitive for his son.

"Ma! Al went njai first, yes! Assalamu'alaikum," cried Almeer.

"Campaign, Al. Don't you wait for Mama to get dressed?" sahut Ruby from the room.

"Sorry, Mom! If it's too late, it can't be muezzin!"

Al's voice moved away and the atmosphere of the second floor went back into silence. A moment later he saw from the window of the room, a small child wearing white cocoa, sarong, white kopyah stuck tightly to the head and a tenteng bag that he was holding while running out of the yard.

Ruby gave a small laugh as Almeer bade his Papa just by waving his hand. But the man actually gave a threat that made the little boy approach him with a manyun. Almeer kisses Hiko's hand and then runs out of the yard.

A little while later, the voice of Azan Ashar resounded. Ruby returned to smiling. He was more solemn again to hear every chant of the child's muezzin. It felt very proud, because the owner of the melodious voice was his son.

Chequek!

Ruby's attention was distracted when her husband entered the room. She was about to stand up and get her husband's clothes and sarong, but Hiko gestured to sit down.

"How can you educate Almeer to be this good, Mas?" ask Ruby.

"Does it look like that?" hiko asked while changing clothes.

"Almeer grew up to be a sholeh, kind, clever and gentle child."

Hiko approached Ruby after wearing her sarong and coke shirt. He squatted in front of Ruby who was sitting on the edge of the bed. Gently grasped his wife's hand while giving a kiss there. "Because Nara often told me about you. Indirectly, he also wants to be a figure like you. He always tries to be the best, if one day he meets you, you won't hate him."

Hearing Hiko's explanation makes Ruby's eyes water, recalling what happened to Almeer. "How could I hate him? He's your son, he's Nara's son, and he's our son."

"Hey, why be sad like this, honey?" ask Hiko.

"I'm too proud of him, Mom. You raised Almeer well."

Hiko shook her head, "i'm not a good parent, Ruby. Everybody knows that,"

Ruby shook her head, cupping Hiko's cheek. "You really educated Almeer well, Mas. He grew up to be a strong boy."

"He must be strong, By. The world will be cruel to her."

Hearing that made Ruby's tears fall unstoppable, she burst out quickly in her husband's arms. "That's gonna hurt him, Mom. He's gonna get hurt. The world can't be that cruel to her."

Hiko could not say anything, only rubbing Ruby's back. He tried to give her the peace that she never had when it came to her past and the future of her son.

Being in the house all day makes Ruby sad, even more so by thinking about Almeer, making her feelings more depressed. Although still feeling pain in the groin, Ruby chose to take a walk out while picking up Almeer who was teaching.

"Where, By?" ask Genta who saw Ruby walking on the front page.

"Walk for a minute, Mas. If Mas Hiko nyariin, please say yes, Mas," replied Ruby.

"okay! Careful, By. Don't get lost. It could go crazy later on with that boy."

"Yes, Mas Genta. Assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Ruby continued her steps slowly out of Hiko's courtyard. Her husband is still busy in the studio, and he doesn't want to bother her.

She walked to the right to the mosque, which was only a few meters from her husband's house.

"It's been said not to play with him, why still play?"

Ruby frowned when she heard a woman scolding her son in the courtyard of the mosque.

"If you are still naughty! Long time no friends!"

"Al is not naughty. Al just defended the old man."

Hearing that voice, Ruby ran over small. Sure enough, there was his son with friends and adults there.

"Al!" ruby's cry approached her son who was being held by an ustadz.

"You're her new mom?" asked the hijab woman who was carrying her son.

"What did my son do to your son, Ma'am?" ask Ruby.

"Please, from now on educate your son well. He's so lacking in attention that he's always troublemaking."

"Al only twice hit Sofyan, Ma!"

"just?" The woman rounded her eyes at Almeer.

"I'm sorry for my son's mistakes. God willing I will talk to him about this," said Ruby humbled.

"Mama don't have to apologize. Al is wrong" said Almeer as he approached Ruby.

While Ruby only reviewed a smile and rubbed her son's head. "If so, Al must apologize as well."

"But Al is not wrong,"

"Al's hurt someone else, of course I have to apologize."

Almeer scrunched his forehead, then grabbed the hand of his friend's mother. "Sorry Al, Aunt Icha" he said. "Sofyan, I'm sorry."

"No want! Your punch still hurts."

"You hit me too. Even your talk would hurt my Mom and Dad if they heard it. We both hurt."

"I said I didn't want to!"

"Udah-udah! Don't make it!" Mama Sofyan brushed off Almeer's hand. He looked at Ruby. "Educate him. Although it is difficult to educate children outside marriage, I am sure you can. You're a boarding boy, aren't you? Pastiโ€”"

"Why is it so easy you say that in front of him?" sergeant Ruby."How can such a sentence come out of a mother?"

"Everyone here knows who he is? It's still a good thing he's welcome here."

"Astaghfirullahaladzim." Ruby closed her eyes to hold back the anger.

"Ma ...."

Almeer's call makes Ruby open her eyes. He grew more and more powerless when he saw the look in his son's eyes that turned sad.

"Please .. apologize to my son. Although I'm not sure your apology will heal his wound, at least apologize!" firmly Ruby.

"Crazy for people!"

"I'm sure my son has a reason to do that to your son. But as an adult, you have no right to carry the past of both parents. Don't we as adults have a responsibility to teach the beauty of peace in difference?"

"Beautiful how? Clearly, Allah cursed the one who did the adultery. He was not born in the Ridhoi of God. Where is the beauty?"

"His parents did that! Not son! Why do you have to judge these little creatures who don't understand anything?" ruby Sentak. "Where can you tell if he was born without God? Do you want to compete with the angel of God? We're all sinners here, ma'am. Each of us has a disgrace. Do not just because our disgrace is still neatly stored, closed by God, make us arrogant, feel holy, judge and even open the disgrace of others!"
