Chapter 40

Abi approached the woman, but her steps were stopped when police were at the scene of the crime.

"Let's come with us to the office now!" said one of the police officers who received a report from the hotel.

Diana breathed a sigh of relief. And smiled at him. The woman looked excited when Abi was arrested by police. But Abi was no less smiling looking at Diana's extremely sickening facial expression.

"Let's go!" the police order led Abi into a patrol car.

"A, Al?" call Abi while sighing deeply.

"Yes, Mom?"

"Put Sha ya, please take care of him and your niece-to-be" she said in a trembling voice.

"Good, Mas. I'll take care of them. Don't think about it. They're safe here. Mas Abi must focus on the case that Mas is living. I hope it's over soon."

"Thank you again, Al. Mas close first." the connection disconnected from the end there.

Aldo breathed deeply. Hopefully, Kak Sha does not bother with the existence of Mas Abi. The nineteen-year-old man immediately entered, but the atmosphere of the house seemed quiet. Maybe Sha's mom and sister are asleep.

"Mas Abi says he's sorry for the sudden out-of-town business. So we can't be prejudiced just yet" Aldo said.
