The Heaven and Earth Dragon Spear

The Heaven and Earth Dragon Spear
Just Dreams

The sturdy walls of Qin city look magnificent when viewed from a distance of 1 li (0.55km). Snow piled on the walls, soldiers passing by on the city walls, and the snow around the city walls showed a beautiful view.

A horseman with a Yin royal flag spurred his horse quickly, warning cries coming out of his mouth made the city guards open the gates wide.

"Song's army attacked, Prince Rui (the title of the old prince of Yin Xie) asked for help!" the messenger shouted as he drove his horse to the town hall to meet the governor of Qin.

In the center of Qin city, there is a magnificent city hall, adjacent to the office of the governor of the luxurious Qin Province. Officials passed around the governor's office with their hands tied and covered in broad sleeves. Of the many officials who passed by, most brought important reports to the room of the current Qin governor, Qin Huang.

The Qin province was one of the prosperous provinces in the Yin empire thanks to the hard work of its officials and leaders, so corruption and job irregularities were rare. The people were prosperous and looked happy, they also felt safe because they were guarded by 300,000 strong Qin troops.

In front of the governor's office, a slender and tall young man, a pair of sharp eagle eyes, thick eyebrows and jet-black hair descended from his horse. A guard came to the young man, then took his horse to the stables.

His sturdy body, steady steps and intimidating sharp gaze made the young man have a ruling aura that made many people disinclined while looking at him. The young man walked towards a room located in the center of the Governor's Office. Some of the guards who passed by the young man bowed respectfully, while the young man only replied with a nod of his head.

Walking for a while, the dashing young man had already arrived at a classic building made of sturdy wood making it look majestic. The door of the room was already open, the two guards standing before the door bowed respectfully, "Second Young Master, Great Master Qin has been waiting for you."

The young man called the second Young Master nodded and entered the room. The fragrant aroma of the incense that was burned smelled as it entered the room, a soul-soothing scent for its inhalers.

Inside the room, a man in his forties was sitting and reading a report paper. His face was so serious that it created some wrinkles on his forehead.

"Greetings, Father. Qin Guan pays respect to Father." Qin Guan, the young man bowed respectfully to the person called Father. For a while Qin Guan was still in the same position until Qin Huang asked him to get up.

"Hm .. Get up, son," said Qin Huang. Qin Guan again stood firmly before Qin Huang.

Qin Huang got up and walked towards the table where he used to drink tea. A small table located near the window, right next to the table there is a small furnace that is often used to boil water.

There are two seats facing each other flanking the small table. Qin Huang sat down on one of the seats and invited his son to sit in one more place.

Qin Huang looked at the water pitcher above the furnace. There is a small froth indicating if the water in the teapot is already boiling. Taking a pinch of tea, Qin Huang put the tea into a smaller, white teapot surrounded by four empty cups.

The sound of hot iron clashing with water makes a sound so distinctive that anyone must look at it when they hear the sound. The teapot with tea and hot water was closed, gently swayed in one direction, next Qin Huang poured the tea slowly into the empty cup before him. Not to forget Qin Huang also filled the cup that belonged to his son who was still empty.

Qin Guan who was originally bowed, raised his face and looked at Qin Huang in confusion. "Sorry, Ayahanda. From the morning the child plays in the forest, has not heard any news."

Qin Huang nodded slowly, after hearing Qin Guan's reply, Qin Huang sipped his tea slowly, enjoying the bitter and fragrant sensation in one moment. Qin Huang placed his tea cup slowly and took out an envelope with an imperial Yin stamp attached to the seal of the envelope. Qin Guan receives the envelope with both hands, after getting the code with a light nod from his father, Qin Guan opens the envelope and reads it carefully.

'Song soldiers set up tents on the northern border of Qin, numbering them around 100,000 people.

Yin Xie's'

Qin Guan folded the paper and put it back in the envelope. Qin Huang received the envelope but placed it on the table, not keeping it on the sleeves of his robe.

"What do you think?" qin Huang.

Qin Guan seemed to think for a moment, then began to reveal ideas in his brain. "Ayahanda, the northern border of Qinzhou (Qin Province) is a sloping land, has a fortress that is so sturdy and guarded by 70,000 troops Ji Feng. Two months ago when the children played to the place with General Zhao, the great general Huaihuang (border commander) was rearranging the defense line. Seeing the number of opposing forces so large, we at least sent 100,000 soldiers to have Ji Feng's troops recover the condition for a moment. If our defenses can be penetrated, then it will be very dangerous."

Qin Huang nodded in satisfaction at the brief description from his son. "Alright, Father will ask General Zhao to advance to the front line carrying 100,000 troops."

Qin Guan covered both hands, bowing respectfully to Qin Huang for permission to join the battle. Qin Huang agreed to his son's request because he felt that this battle was already clearly seen how the end result would be. Moreover, Qin Huang sent one of his trusted senior generals, General Zhao Yun.

"Dad asked for one thing from you. Stay alive."

Qin Guan nodded and saluted before leaving the room. Qin Huang wrote a few warrants then asked the courier to send them as quickly as possible.

Once out of the governor's office, Qin Guan drove his horse to the main camp of the Qin warriors located north of Qin city to meet General Zhao.

Of the 300,000 Qin warriors, only 75,000 lived in Qin city as another 225,000 were scattered throughout Qinzhou and tasked with securing their respective territories. Qin City as the administrative center had the most soldiers, and the second most was Lan City located in northern Qinzhou, had 60,000 soldiers with 15 great generals.

The triumphant cries flew through the city passed by the soldiers. As an arrow shot out and hit Qin Guan's chest, the young man was shocked to feel no pain.

"Hah .. just a dream apparently."
