The Guzheng of The Moon

The Guzheng of The Moon
VII

Stiff in place, Yue petrified as the Emperor's face drew closer. Slowly the man took a soft sip of his lips. Yue felt like he was melting, his heart was pounding. Long and persuaded. He was not sure he would survive until the end. It was possible that after this he would completely melt like mud.

“Your Majesty! Your Majesty, where are you? It's time for morning practice!”

Shocked by the sound, Yue regained his senses and immediately pushed the Emperor away. He moved his blanket back and hid under it.

“Cih ...”

Yue peeked out from under the covers as the Emperor stood up from the bed and approached the doorway. In the disheveled clothes the man was leaning against the door leaf. Jesus, whoever sees it will think.

“Go, I haven't even had time to sleep, Uncle,” said the Emperor lazily.

Really embarrassing, this was Yue's first experience of being alone with a man in a room until morning.

Morning! He didn't even realize it was morning. They play chess until morning! How relieved Yue was at this moment. Mercifully.

“What are you sick of? Physician. I'll call the palace healer.”

The man saw it. Seeing Yue Yang curled up inside the blanket belonging to the Emperor. Although only a glimpse.

“Uh-oh, forgive me. Then please go back to having fun,” added the middle-aged man before leaving.

It was strange why at a time like this Yue saw the opportunity. After the man leaves, which means he will return alone with the Emperor. Nah! Soon Yue got off her bed and tore the blanket down quickly. With the legs of the horse tub Yue ran as fast as possible towards the door. He almost ... almost passed the Emperor if only his arm had not been caught.

“Almost, right?”

“It's morning. I think, I should go back," Yue said with a face that was parched.

I don't know where the must is. As soon as Yue had set foot in the palace, his must was to fulfill all the wishes of the Emperor, not run away like this.

Yue hesitated a little as the Emperor relaxed his grip. He saw the man walking back to him. Then take some clothes for her.

“The isatna ladies will gossip you if you come out with such circumstances. Although I have absolutely no objection,” Gu Zheng said as he rolled his eyes.

Gosh darn. This man in front of him was an accomplished seductress. It's so bad, her mind. ⁇

Yue sighed once then twice. He can't avoid this anymore. Running meant the penalty of beheading even though he did not mind the punishment at all, yet how were his uncle and aunt? How will their fate be?

Yue decided to take a walk around his pavilion. Not many people passed by because indeed this pavilion was quite far from the main palace. He chose to sit by the lake while hugging his knees.

How's the state of the store? His workers? He missed Uncle and Aunt Hwang. True said the people, the palace a deserted place. And so many inhabitants. But it feels lonely.

Yue pressed one cheek against his knee. From afar he could see Emperor Gu Zheng was walking towards his place. Yue hurriedly got up and tidied up her clothes. Not forgetting to comb his hair with fingers. Wait for. What's he doing? Why did she dress up for that guy? Soon he ruffled back his clothes and his hair.

This is better, her heart.

From a distance Yue could see the smile of the Emperor which made it feel like it was melting. Don't look at Yue, don't look, her inner.

“How was your day?” asked Gu Zheng.

“As usual, Your Highness,” replied Yue.

The Emperor extended his hand and raised Yue's face. “I told you never to duck when talking to me.”

God, how could he possibly do that? That's not to say it's disrespectful. “S-I don't dare, Your Highness.”

Because of Yue Yang's lowered face, he could see the Emperor getting closer through the man's legs. Spontaneous Yue took a step back. Unaware of doing so, he immediately raised his face and looked at the already wrinkled face of the Emperor. The man looks angry. He was so scared.

“Leave us,” his orders to the servants.

Nah! What the hell are they doing? Why would they leave him alone with this guy. Again.

Yue could hear a rough gasp of breath from the Emperor. If the man did anything to him, he would shout as loud as possible and run around the palace if necessary, breaking it off.

“Mother Suri wants to meet you, now.”
