CHAPTER 50

After getting all the best advice from his best friends, Mike begins to take steps to end his past and refocus on pursuing his wife

Today, she is ready to return in her suit and begin doing her duty back as the leader of the Middle corp company.

Mike entered his office with a confident step, not at all feeling guilty for ignoring his hard-working company for 2 weeks

As soon as he entered his office, the man was surprised by the large pile of documents on his desk.He must definitely be overtime for the next few days it looks like

Judging by Claudia, her secretary who was standing greeted her with her flat face. Mike's frown was confused to see Claudia who was not as tough as usual, the girl looked cold, as if without a soul inhabiting the body

"How's the company going as long as I'm not in? Are you willing to handle everything?" ask Mike professionally

"Everything you can see in this file.all the developments, and our working systems and cooperation with clients are listed here.You can assess my performance after reading this file" clearly Claudia while putting the file slowly in front of Mike

Mike looked at the file and turned to look at the flat face of Claudia who does not usually display such a face.Because usually the girl will always display her best smile even if it is just a fake smile

Add another thing that makes Mike confused.Secretary seemed so calm, did not protest or ask why did not enter work for 2 weeks! It's not like Claudia is like always

"What's wrong with you! You sick?" mike asked directly, unable to ignore his curiosity with his unusual secretary attitude

Claudia looked up, looking at the Boss.From there Mike could see the girl's face that looked pale despite being covered with gloss lips though

"No, I'm fine sir" Claudia replied

"Alright, then please bring me the building file that was just built from cooperation with Mr. Anwar" said Mike who managed to make Claudia peck a few seconds before stepping to retrieve the file

The girl will never forget the building that was just completed, the building that will soon be transformed into a luxury hotel and the building that brought her closer to her first man, Revan, like a pinch when remembering the name of the man.The man who had silenced his call since 3 days ago

"This sir" Claudia handed the file to Mike just before the dizziness hit her head, the girl tried to stay afloat even though her eyes were already twitching, the shadow of Mike who was focusing on reading the file also looked like three and circled.His head felt so heavy, the girl tried to call Mike

"Sir.." - He sagged, but too late.The heavy feeling in his head managed to dispel his consciousness.The girl fell unconscious

"Claudia!!" mike exclaimed frantically as his secretary fainted suddenly.Mike lifted the body up onto the sofa in the room and started calling out the girl's name to wake up

"Damn! Why did he faint like this? Is it okay for this woman to force herself too much in handling my work to exhaustion" he murmured in panic

"Hey, Claudia.." the man patted Claudia softly on the cheek however, the girl was not conscious either

Mike quickly grabbed his office phone

"Bring a doctor into my room immediately!" his orders to the recipient who is his assistant and immediately turn it off.No matter the assistant who is confused with his intention

Mike looked at Claudia who was drooping on the sofa, the blonde girl who usually looked strong now looked so weak.But that's not what Mike was worried about, but, but his fear of Claudia's brother who will finish him if he knows his sister to fall unconscious because of the many jobs that Mike burdened Claudia until the girl was exhausted

Fifteen minutes passed and suddenly the door of his room opened showing a doctor gasping for air after being told by Assistant Mike that there was an emergency patient in the man's office

"Sir, are you okay?" the assistant asked confusedly, seeing that Mike was fine

The doctor began examining the girl even though with a sharp gaze on Mike's assistant who had told a lie about the emergency patient and in fact only a woman fainted

"Sir, what happened to Miss Claudia?" asked the assistant to Mike in a whisper.She suspected that her boss was why-apain Claudia because the boss was already famous with a cruel character in this office.Could have Claudia fainted from being hit by Mike maybe, she thought

"He fainted suddenly and the cause? If I had known I wouldn't have told a stupid man like you to bring a doctor here" Mike said, staring intently at the poor man beside him

The assistant nodded with that answer

"Where do I know if you're not sick, who told me to turn off the phone immediately after telling me to bring a doctor.Basic boss crazy" said the assistant who only dared to curse his boss in his heart

"How's it going Doc?" mike asked still worried, he was worried that his handsome face would become his older brother Claudia's punching bag if something happened to the blonde girl

"How long has he been like this?" ask the doctor to Mike

"Doctor mean?" mike's forehead was confused

"Responsible to young people! Don't make him tired and mind a lot" cold sweat coming down Mike's forehead, it would be a great disaster for her if Claudia had a dangerous disease because she was too tired and had too many thoughts and of course two things that came from her

The assistant next to him looked suspiciously at Mike who seemed troubled by the words of the doctor, increasingly making him suspect that his boss was already why-apain Claudia

"This young girl..."

Claudia blinked her eyes a few times as glare light entered her retina.By slowly the girl got up trying to sit and see where she is

"You're sober?" the masculine voice made Claudia turn her gaze to her superior who seemed to be standing behind her with both hands stored in her pants pocket

"Sir Mike" Claudia murmured softly, her head still throbbing.She tried to remember what had happened before until she was lying on the couch in her boss' office

"What happened to me sir?" the girl asked softly looking at Mike's towering body not far from her.The man turned his body to face Claudia and his facial expression looked so serious

"Tell me! Who's the guy? Who's the father of the fetus you're carrying?"
