CHAPTER 3

Mike looked at his reflection in the mirror.Handsome and charming.She smiled imagining soon will soon marry Imelda, the woman he fought for with great difficulty

Someone called himself, saying that the reception will start soon.Once again Mike exhaled.Entah why does he feel the feeling is not good and the innocent gaze of Elina just crossed his mind.What are the signs..?.Mike didn't want to take a headache and ignored it, starting to step out confidently

In the reception room, guests filled the hall including Mike's friends Eric, Marcel and Billy who came with faces lacking mood and bandaged hands

"Why your hand?" ask Eric

"Injured, only a small wound" he replied briefly unwilling to explain why he was wounded.He looked up at the altar where Imelda was sitting with the bride's sidewalk, Elina.

Actually Billy really does not like Imelda because he realized that the woman is not a good woman but what can be done.His best friend Michael Ananda was too obsessed with the woman

Imelda sat confidently because she was conscious,beside her sat Elina as her companion later.Elina had refused to be the bride's maid but Imelda kept urging her and finally here she became the bride's companion Imelda while holding a strand of beautiful dress Imelda.Elina said in the heart

"If I were to wear this beautiful wedding dress, surely I would be very beautiful" her inner self admired Imelda's wedding dress.However Elina realized, Revan is not among the rich.This dress will only be a dream on her

Last night Revan suddenly got the news that his design last year had a technical error so he had to return to the village that night to finish it.Revan had invited Elina along with her but Elina refused because she had already promised Imelda to be the bride's companion,leave Revan last night after Elina hugs him and says she'll be fine

Imelda stood up, as did Elina when she saw Mike standing from the door and smiling at them.With the man beside Mike ,Billy as the groom's companion only smiled at the opposite knot of his smile all along.

Mike stepped closer to his bride as well as Billy as a companion.Imelda waited for the arrival of her man with a happy smile, and,as soon as Mike got to the mini staircase that blocked him with the bride.Mike smiled looking at Imelda and thrust his hand to be greeted by the bride.However, beyond suspicion when suddenly Imelda's hand was moved to welcome Mike's hand,the woman fell face down down the stairs of four children.Mike made all the guests dumbfounded not least friends Mike, Elina and Mike himself whose hands were still floating in the air without any welcome.Mike immediately embraced Imelda and tried to resuscitate her

Imelda's father approached, while Elina stood trembling at the event as the bride's seconds fell before her eyes. The father immediately took over embracing Imelda from Mike's hands and began to examine the princess and danced out loud

"Imelda my daughter" and started hugging her dear.Everyone looked at her in wonder especially Mike who was the most astonished

"My daughter is dead, she was killed" added the father still hugging the princess's drooping body.Heard that Mike's eyes turned red and his gaze was immediately fixed on Elina who was still standing trembling on the altar

"You murderous goddamn woman" cried Mike furiously ignoring the logic of how the person who fell down the 4-child staircase died instantly? anger overwhelms him at this moment for no apparent reason.

Elina looked at Mike with watery eyes and a still shaking body..No, he was not a killer.In fact, his hand was nudging Imelda but it was only a light touch that would not mean anything.He nudged Imelda just as a form of temptation when Mike's hand was seizing his arrival.However, he was not,it cannot be trusted if the incident took place without guessing

"No. I didn't kill him!" refuting Elina was frightened when she saw the invited guests all looking at her as if accusing her of being a murderer

"You're a murderer" Mike accuses Elina of hitting the poor woman, but Billy swiftly takes steps to restrain Mike's movements and tells Elina to go,the woman was so frightened that Marcel pulled the woman away from Mike and the guests

"Billy, let go of me.Don't you stop me from killing the woman" cried Mike rebelled.Billy kept her in custody until he saw Elina being carried away by Marcel

After successfully taking Elina away from Marcel and Eric looked at each other to see the woman crying and still shaking in fear.Marcel signaled that Eric spoke up because he was the laziest to deal with women

"Let's calm Miss.You're safe now, don't cry anymore" Eric said

"I'm not a murderer, I didn't kill Imelda" whispered Elina quietly, she was still terrified

"Yes we know.So, is there someone we can call to take you away from here" asked Eric quietly while Marcel just stood up while watching him, he doesn't know anyone here but Dira and until now he hasn't even contacted Dira. Seeing the girl's trouser Eric signaled to Marcel

"How's it?" Marcel just shrugged his shoulders not knowing what to do.Unfortunately not long later Billy came and offered to take Elina to his inn.After Billy went to drive Elina, he was, Eric and Marcel re-enter the wedding hall that has been turned into a funeral hall

Mike is furious at his three best friends who have dared to hide the killer woman, especially Billy as the closest friend to him rather than Eric and Marcel.

Mike came to the funeral of his future wife after Imelda was buried and he was only able to freeze to see the woman he had fought for was lying in a crate under the ground.Imelda's father approached Mike and whispered in Mike's ear

"I can't accept my son's death like this, you have to find that woman and bring her before me alive or dead" mike was only able to clench his hands hearing those words and he was annoyed at the petite woman who owned the long hair because she had destroyed all her dreams with Imelda

"I'll do it soon, Dad" retorted Mike.Dad Imelda looked flat at Mike and stepped away from the funeral

Mike called Revan but the man's number was off

"Nonsensical, did they both conspire to destroy me" he said, squeezing his phone hard into his hand

"Review you fucking woman.I'll find you wherever you hide" he said in silence filled with vengeance
