Early on

A month ago.

That afternoon, Reine was standing on the street. He waved at Angel while showing off the donuts he had just bought. Not giving the donut to Angel alone has made Reine feel the happiness of the woman.

"I'll spend this doughnut alone if you don't catch me!" reine shouted with a very cheerful face.

Angel shakes. The woman was pessimistic. He was sure that he would never succeed in chasing Reine because Reine ran very fast when compared to him. Many times he tried the same thing, but the results were the same. He's outmatched. Therefore, Angel thought of another way to defeat Reine this time. The woman held her head and stood staggering. From the road Reine's face began to panic which indicates that Angel's plan this time was successful.

"What's going on? Why is Angel holding her head?" Without a second thought, Reine immediately ran as hard as she could across the road. He didn't even see right and left at the time. His mind had been filled with worries about Angel. The woman wanted to arrive near Angel before the woman's body fell on the road.

While in the middle of the road, people screamed. Hearing the screams of the crowd made Reine stop her steps. He tilted his body to the right and ….

BRUAAKK

A mini bus crashed into his body until he bounced to the side of the road. Although the car has tried to brake, but because of the high speed and the sudden appearance of Reine. That accident is inevitable.

Reine blinked her eyes while looking at Angel who was running towards her. He made a smile before it was all dark.

Reine opened her eyes with a shocked face. The accident was like a nightmare to him. Reine looked at the man standing beside her bed with a confused face. Holding her still-painful head, Reine tried to gather her consciousness.

"Who are you? Why are you even here? Where is this? What room is this?" reine asked like a confused person. He tried to get up so he could leave the foreign room. But his head is getting more painful. The man who was in front of him immediately restrained his body from falling.

"Why can I touch it?" said the man was confused.

Reine who heard clearly the man's words immediately parried his hand and pushed his body away.

"Do you think I'm air that can't be touched?" reine's protest is upset.

Reine's shout made the nurse in front of Reine's room enter. The nurse smiled happily seeing Reine already sitting on the bed. However, he quickly ran over to Reine in order to prevent the woman from moving much first.

"Miss, you're sober! I'll call the doctor" said the nurse before leaving again.

Reine looked at the man who was still standing nearby. This time the man looked at her with such a sharp look.

"Why didn't he throw you out?" reine asked confusedly.

The man shrugged both his shoulders. "Maybe it's because he can't see me" the man replied casually.

Reine laughed amusedly. "Can't see? Are you a ghost?" reine said still with an amused laugh.

The door is back open. The doctor and a nurse came inside. Just like the nurse before. There was not a single person discussing the whereabouts of the man inside Reine's room.

Reine patted her cheeks until it was red. The doctor and the sisters looked at each other before preventing Reine from hitting her cheeks like crazy.

"Miss, what are you doing?" ask the sister next to him.

"Say this is all a dream. He's not real. You're all not real?" reine answered without looking. He could see clearly when the doctor had penetrated the body of the man he had just spoken to.

"Miss, calm down" the nurse persuaded as Reine grew hysterical. Their first diagnosis thought Reine was crazy. Because maybe his head had a hard impact at the time of the accident.

"He doesn't exist" Reine said. This time he again ventured to look at the man beside the doctor. Not disappearing, instead the man stuck out his tongue with a soft face. Instantly Reine fainted. He could not accept the existence of any strange creatures nearby.

"Miss, miss." The doctor checked Reine. Especially on the head.

While the man named Darren folded his hands in front with an amused laugh. "A funny woman. You won't be able to get away from me. From now on I will always be by your side." The man's ghost glanced at the patient's data book the nurse was holding. "Reine de Vries," he said correctly. "Okay, Reine. From now on we're friends!"

An hour later, Reine regained consciousness. Daren is no longer in the room, he does not want Reine to faint again. So he decided to let Reine recover and be in total health before taking the woman on a chat.

Angel had been sitting next to the bed where Reine was lying. The woman looked sad. He feels guilty. Because of the ridiculous idea he did. Reina got wretched and lost a lot of blood.

"Reine, I'm sorry" said Angel, holding Reine's hand.

Reine opened her eyes and looked at Angel. His gaze was so serious that it made Angel think that Reine was angry with him.

"I'm sorry. I have no intention of wreaking you any harm" Angel solemnly said.

Reine doesn't care about Angel. He looked to the right and to the left to confirm Daren's whereabouts.

"Where is he? Looks like it was just my hallucination." Reine looked back at Angel. His lips smiled to make Angel look relieved at that time. "I'm doing fine. Don't be sad anymore" Reine said.

"What about the wound?"

"This injury?" Reine pointed at the bandage that was on her head.

Angel nodded quickly. "It must have been very painful."

"In pain. But I can still hold it. The accident was purely because of my carelessness. So, never blame yourself."

"Reine, you're a really good friend. Thank you." Thank you." Angel hugged Reine. Reine smiled at that.

From a corner not far from where they were, Daren reappeared while folding both hands. This time he felt more and more convinced to follow Reine's life onward. Reine is the only human being who can see her face and touch her.

"The good woman. It was clear that this accident was caused by his friend. But he was completely unwilling to blame his friend" murmured Darren. He disappears again before Reine realizes his presence in the room.
