Chapter 3

Anastasia passed Nick's body which was near the exit, she sped up her pace, wanting it to feel like Ana was soon getting to her house. Today was really very tired Anastasia coupled with her meeting with Nicholas which made her feel so great heartache for what Nicholas said to her.

Anastasia feels that Nicholas hates her now, perhaps because of his father's past mistakes, making him the one now hated by the man she loved so much years ago. But is all this fair? Ana treats Nick very well, Ana always defies her own father for Nick's sake, but now Nick treats her like this.

He still could not digest well his encounter with Nicholas, his intention to leave Las Vegas and choose to stay in Mexico was so that not many people knew of his existence. But now Nicholas has found his existence.

Anastasia continued to walk with increasingly limp legs, she was like cursing herself for letting a man like Nicholas approach her. If he had not had a relationship with Nicholas, he probably would not have hated him as he is today. They both have history in the past, in the past they are lovers who are always happy. It had never been thought before by Anastasia if their story ended in hatred.

But it is undeniable that if Anastasia feels amazed at the changes that have happened to Nicholas, the man now looks very successful. Nicholas is very much different from what he used to be, if he was just a shy man and did not talk much to many people but now he has become a CEO at a very young age.

With her role so high now, Ana is quite amazed because Nicholas can still recognize Anastasia. Returning to his memory, there was one mistake Ana made in the past, when her father reluctantly told his men to beat up Nicholas, Anastasia's guilt for not being able to defend Nicholas at that time.

Anastasia hopes that tomorrow she can forget what happened to her today. He also hoped that he would never see Nicholas again. When he saw Nicholas he felt it was just a nightmare.

Anastasia never forgot what her father had done to her, his father always insulted and chided the man and also beat the man mercilessly and because his father and mother lost his business field. It really makes his heart hurt so much if it has to remember.

"Get in my car!" Said Nicholas who was now in front of Anastasia.

Anastasia did not answer Nicholas, she was very afraid of the man before her. The man who looked very rude and also looked like a bad person who wanted to pounce on him.

"Beautiful please," asked Nicholas with a brash face. Nicholas smiled as if he was picking up a woman at night in his fancy car.

Anastasia looked very tense and her body looked slightly quivering. His fear was mixed with his fatigue which made his body feel like it wanted to fall.

"Thank you for your offer, but I'm fine and I can go home by myself" Anastasia said with a smile that looked very forced.

Nicholas is visibly upset that Anastasia turned down his offer, as long as she becomes a successful CEO there is never a single woman who turns down her offer. But now, women like Anastasia rejected him.

"Why do you look so scared of me now, Ana?" Ask Nicholas. "I just want to visit your family who are so crazy about the treasure" Nicholas continued in a slightly mocking tone to Anastasia.
