RLM chapter 8

After Audrey told the receptionist that she had made an appointment with the secretary of the company's chief director, she was told to wait in a room until Bastian arrived.

"Let me drive you to the waiting room, Miss." One of the receptionists invited Audrey to follow him.

"Good,"

Audrey is grateful that the receptionist is not as arrogant as most in the film, they are very friendly and authoritative.

As Audrey and the receptionist were about to enter the elevator, two people were walking towards the special elevator.

Without further ado, Audrey called Bastian because she felt she knew him.

Hearing Audrey's call, not only did Bastian stop his steps, but the person walking with him also stopped.

Before approaching the girl, Bastian sees his boss first and asks permission to meet the girl who called him earlier.

"Is he the one?" ask Byakta.

Bastian nodded his head in response. "I ask permission to take care of it, please you ride first."

Bastian presses the elevator so Byakta can go to his room first followed by a few other bodyguards.

Not answering Bastian's words, Byakta went straight into the elevator. Before the elevator doors closed perfectly, Byakta caught a glimpse of the girl. There was a strange swish inside his chest when it was clean looking at the girl's eyes.

"It's been a while, huh?" ask Bastian kindly.

Then with a hand gesture Bastian ordered the receptionist to leave the two of them.

"No, I'm sorry I called you earlier" explained Audrey.

"No problem, it's better now we meet my boss, come on." Bastian invites Audrey to follow him.

Using a special elevator, the two climbed to the highest floor of the company building that runs in this fashion field.

Not long before the two reached the highest floor, Audrey followed every step of bastian until they stopped at the door of a room with the writing of the main director.

Audrey's heartbeat began to beat rhythmically, there was a sudden fear that enveloped her heart.

Never in his shadow would he marry a conglomerate in his father's hometown, not even the word marriage ever crossed his mind.

At an age that should still feel the puberty of teenagers, fall in love or just go for a walk with a friend his age should he bury deeply just because of a sickly sister.

Audrey never complained, because she realized this was a duty to be lived after her parents were gone.

"Come," Bastian invited Audrey to come in.

Audrey nodded her head and followed Bastian inside, walking behind the tall man, until his tiny body was invisible to the person in front of Bastian.

"Eh, who?" bastian was confused.

"Who else? Yeah, that shabby girl who called you earlier, where is she?" ask Byakta.

He was thinking if this assistant of his was senile, didn't the girl come to meet him? Why are you still asking.

While Audrey was getting scared, because the man she was about to marry seemed to have a cold and arrogant personality.

'if you can, I want to just disappear from here, why does he seem like such a spooky creature' Audrey murmured inwardly.

He shuddered in horror to imagine when they were married later, is it wrong a little he will be skinned? Or thrown into the wilderness?

"Oh, here he comes with me," Bastian shifted his body so that Byakta could see the girl he was going to marry in a few days.

Audrey, who was still closing her eyes and imagining a horrible life with the man she called arrogant, had to open her eyes immediately because she could again take cover behind Bastian's back.

"Good morning sir" Audrey said, bowing respectfully.

Though he did not want to salute, he just did not want to clean up with Byakta, because of course the man was looking at him with an intimidating look full of judgment.

"Why are you willing to marry me?" Byakta immediately asked the core question.

He is not the type of person who likes to make small talk, he thinks it is just a waste of time.

Audrey who got the question answered with a stunt "Because I need money, sir," Audrey replied honestly.

Byakta who heard that smiled disdainfully, he should already know that the women who want to marry him are just women who like money.

Not only who likes to look glamorous, even a simple appearance like Audrey just want money.

"Three more days the marriage will take place, you don't need to prepare anything, just prepare yourself, because you must already know what I'm marrying you for," Byakta explained.

"After marriage Bastian will explain everything to you, you don't have to carry out your duties as a wife for me, because all you need to do is make sure your uterus can give me offspring," connect Byakta again without feeling.

Audrey just nodded, she could only hold the pain in her heart, from all the explanations Byakta also explained that she was a nobody even though the man married her, she said, unless it's just considered a child-making machine.

But Audrey had to endure it all for the sake of the continuity of her sister's treatment. The day he asks Bastian to keep his brother a secret, he doesn't want people to pity him just because his sister is sick.

Bastian also agreed to Audrey's request, because the girl begged to prostrate at her feet.

After signing a letter of agreement containing the rules during Byakta's wife, Audrey excuses him to leave immediately. Because he would go to the hospital to see and accompany his sister.

From today she decided to stop working, as she would only focus on her sister's recovery and prepare to be the wife of the child-printing machine for the rich man.
