The Fire of Love the Great Goddess

The Fire of Love the Great Goddess
Eps. 12: Mount Xi and Mount Yanqi

Bai Feng Xian actually went alone. It was very unpleasant to see the emotionless face of Celestial Concubine Yingzhao for too long.

After thinking about it again, Yingzhao seemed to really love Dongfang Yue wholeheartedly. The arrogant concubine even obeyed him and lowered her pride by coming alone.

Unfortunately, he was not sincere enough. Bai Feng Xian did not like the formalities applied in the Sky Kingdom.

Yingzhao grew up and flourished in a place that curbed that form of freedom all the time. The gods might respect him, but to Bai Feng Xian, such a thing was simply something very troublesome.

Yingzhao even still maintained his attitude as if he was an important person. Though, he had absolutely no idea if such an attitude was nothing as his feet stomped on the ground of Qingqiu.

Bai Feng Xian so wondered why the woman could be so resistant to being on the side of Dongfang Yue which was as cold as the Kunlun Mountains in the north.

Choosing to let go of the tiredness of the thought towards Yingzhao and Dongfang Yue, Bai Feng Xian further accelerated his flying time.

Fang Jue, his mount often ran away and made him miserable. Bai Feng Xian did not lie when he said he was going to go look for his mount.

Bai Feng Xian's auspicious clouds flashed over Ming Ye's Mirror Lake, then moved north toward a place that had been her favorite destination since the age of fifteen thousand: Mount Xi.

It had been five hundred years since he woke up from a long sleep and he had not come to that place again.

In these Four Seas and Three Lands, there were only a few places that he was free to go. Since childhood, Emperor Bai Yin was so strict towards her because she was his favorite daughter.

Bai Feng Xian was not allowed to go to a distant place. Other than Qingqiu and Ming Ye's Mirror Lake, Mount Xi was one of the few places he loved.

The mountain was filled with trees of delalu and shady eternal acacia. There are also pine trees that grow randomly, as well as trees that do not know what their name is. The rest is lush, evergreen grass and wild shrubs.

On that mountain, Bai Feng Xian found a cave that was very comfortable to nest in. It was so quiet there, and it was there that he spent some of his time training.

The silvery-white cloud at the top of Mount Xi moved aside as it sensed Bai Feng Xian's arrival. His majesty invited a few little birds to dance behind his lucky clouds, following him towards his favorite spot.

As his feet landed in front of the fox cave he had long left behind, the little birds went away.

There was a peach tree that was already tall, he planted it when he was eighteen thousand years old. Now the tree is fruitful and the leaves are thick. Bai Feng Xian inhaled the distinctive scent of his fox cave. As soon as he entered, he had to cough a few times. Oh, the dust is so thick!

There is a room that he functions as a study room. Bai Feng Xian put quite a number of his books and treasures there.

Everything is still intact and complete, even though the surface is covered with fine dust. It used to be that every time he obtained something valuable, Bai Feng Xian always piled it up here.

“Mirror Fire!”

Bai Feng Xian surged in excitement as the maple leaf-shaped bronze mirror he found among his pile of treasures. Fire Mirror, is a legendary bronze mirror.

This mirror is an heirloom from the time of prehistoric gods. It was said that this mirror was an object used by the Ancestral God to dismantle the fake mask of the Demon God that was about to disrupt the world it created.

Bai Feng Xian did not remember when and from where he got this mirror. Perhaps this thing he had while studying with Su Yu in the Moon Valley a dozen thousand years ago, or when he ventured alone into the Four Seas and the Three Lands to forge his spiritual energy.

However, Bai Feng Xian did not know if the ordinary-looking mirror had any other function. In ancient books it is said that this mirror can evoke the memory of someone who has long been forgotten. This is why the Fire Mirror is also referred to as the Memory Mirror.

As he touched and used it, Bai Feng Xian saw the shadow of a woman vaguely standing before the altar of the God Killing Well.

"Who is this woman?"

The woman said something vague, sounding like a mutter. Whatisit? Might sound like a broken ‘guru’ word.

Bai Feng Xian furrowed his forehead, until his brows nearly fused when he saw the woman boldly leap into the God Killing Well.

Who her? Why did he have so much courage?

That God Killing Well was an extremely terrifying place. The gods who fall there will not be saved. His soul could be scattered, fading and becoming dust. When seen, the woman did not look to have high immortal strength. He looks like a.

“Woah. Wait, God Killer Well?”

“A-Xian? That woman is A-Xian, a student of Dongfang Yue?”

Up to this, Bai Feng Xian felt nothing but the impression that the woman inside the Fire Mirror was a determined elf.

Jumping into a dangerous, soul-destroying well requires courage that cannot be underestimated. So, that faint woman is A-Xian?

Putting the mirror on the stone table, he then walked out of his fox cave. The sound of the flapping of wings that had long been unheard broke his concentration.

That flap of wings must have belonged to Fang Jue. Bai Feng Xian called back his lucky cloud and jumped on it. Time wasted quite a lot. Now it was time to look for Fang Jue, the female peacock of his fuzzy mount.

Perhaps Bai Feng Xian lost his concentration for a moment. Fang Jue's trail leads to Yanqi Mountain.

Bai Feng Xian followed him, then found a very strong protective field mounted on top of the mountain.

That protective field was above Mount Yanqi, covering it from the outside world. Demons and ordinary immortal beings would not be able to see it even though the cultivation base was high.

Faintly, a familiar aura belonging to a fairy flowed out from the protective field of Yanqi Mountain, circling Bai Feng Xian's body.

That aura made his head dizzy. Bai Feng Xian descended slowly, breaking through the protective terrain, landing on a stretch of rocks that became the entrance to the main slope of Yanqi Mountain.

The pure aura of this place was extremely condensed. Bai Feng Xian began to wonder who was this unworked immortal that had set up such a powerful protective field just to protect a mountain.

And although the pure air was very strong, it did not really flow perfectly. The pure energy is rotating at one point. Bai Feng Xian was momentarily stunned.

The energy swirled over a clear pond, in the center of which was a shiny water crystal floating in the air. The arrangement was irregular, as if the energy had been forcefully gathered and had lasted hundreds of years.

Bai Feng Xian touched the water crystal in the middle of the pond, the rotation of pure energy was more active. As it turned out, this random spinning pure energy was a magnetic field to gather one's aura.

Bai Feng Xian was curious as to whose aura this gathered, why once he came his energy was even more active.

Until then, a heavy and deep voice shocked him from behind.

“What are you doing here?”

Bai Feng Xian recognized him, but his gaze darkened.
