The Fate of Love Zhang Lin

The Fate of Love Zhang Lin
Chap 44: Fulfilling General Zhang Ye's Wish!

Deaths

A destiny full of sadness

When he comes and says hello

Everyone will feel lost

Feelings of being helpless

The heart feels full of wounds

The soul feels empty

There is only sadness

There is only suffering

The tears kept flowing

As a witness to a languishing soul

They all take that medicine. Empress Zhang Lin also did not forget to drink the medicinal decoction for the emperor.

"Dear, drink. I made it special for you. If you are better. I beg you to get up." Zhang Lin said softly as he tightly hugged her husband who was lying down weakly.

That night, Emperor Fang Yi's body began to show better conditions. The empress was so happy, she kept her husband up all night.

The next morning, the emperor Fang Yi died. He slowly opened his eyes and looked for the figure of the woman he loved so much.

"Darling, are you okay?" empress Zhang Lin said.

"Hm, I'm fine. How's yours?" said emperor Fang Yi who was still worried about the state of his wife.

"Let's just calm I'm better. His highness must also rest, because tomorrow the body of General Zhang Ye will arrive at the palace gate. We must fulfill our promise to welcome the arrival of General Zhang Ye." said Zhang Lin who tried to remain calm and strong.

"Your children all go back to your rooms and rest. Let Niang take care of your majesty tonight." empress Zhang Lin said softly.

The three children returned to their rooms and rested. In any case during these few days, his three children continued to look after both of their parents with a feeling of worry. But tonight everyone can sleep well and can prepare for tomorrow.

...*****...

That morning there was no sunlight illuminating the palace. The sky looked very cloudy, the sun was covered by dark clouds, the air was cold and the wind moved so fiercely that it made everyone unable to stand up straight.

The weather of the day was like a sign that it would rain, but the symptoms of this nature seemed very strange. The sky looks very dark, but at first glance looks twin clouds that cover the moonlight in the morning. Make everyone who sees it feel something bad is about to happen.

The atmosphere became even more miserable, as troops from the northern border were seen. Troops from the northern border delivered the body of General Zhang Ye. Seen in the middle of the army were an army of several men carrying black coffins with swords belonging to general Zhang Ye on top of the coffin.

Empress Zhang Lin looked at her father's coffin, her body began to tremble and her legs felt helpless, making her body feel like falling down. Emperor Fang Yi who saw the condition of his wife immediately quickly helped hold his wife's body to stand firm.

"Honey." whispered the emperor Fang Yi softly.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." said empress Zhang Lin softly.

The troops got closer and when they reached the front gate of the palace, the troops placed the coffin right before Empress Zhang Lin and the family. Empress Zhang Lin limped her legs in limp aided by her husband. He stood in front of the coffin.

He opened the coffin and saw the figure of his father who loved him so much was already lying quietly with a beautiful smile on his face.

"Dad.. Father.." whispered softly Zhang Lin as he touched General Zhang Ye's already cold and pale hands.

"This is your daughter, father. Me here. Behold I have welcomed you before the palace gates." Zhang Lin said as he held tightly onto General Zhang Ye's hand and placed the hand on Zhang Lin's face.

"Dad, look at me. I'm here dad. I'm here father." said the consort Zhang Lin with sobs getting louder.

Seeing the unrestrained condition of Empress Zhang Lin, emperor Fang Yi pulled his wife's body and distanced her from her father's corpse.

"General Chu, bring General Zhang Ye's body inside. Place the body well." Emperor Fang Yi's orders were firm as he led his wife to follow General Zhang Ye's body from behind with his three children.

The three grandchildren of general Zhang Ye wept bitterly, they were greatly missing the figure of an extraordinary grandfather especially Fang Qiu who felt the affection of general Zhang Ye who was very sincere, he considered Fang Qiu like his own biological grandson, he had never distinguished his granddaughter from each other.

The empress was at the altar together with the emperor, they stood with great sadness to cremate the body of general Zhang Ye. Zhang Lin along with emperor Fang Yi threw fire at the wooden pile of the corpse of general Zhang Ye.

"Good way dad. I will always love you." empress Zhang Lin said in tears of sorrow.

"General Zhang Ye I promise to protect your daughter and four grandchildren until I die" said the heart-wrenching emperor Fang Yi.

Empress Zhang Lin continued to stare sadly at the cremation of her father's corpse, she waited until the burning fire was extinguished. Suddenly the weather grew scarier, the twin clouds that covered the moonlight began to darken and bring down heavy rain. Everyone remained in his place waiting for General Zhang Ye's cremation to be completed.

In the last second that the burning flames would be extinguished, empress Zhang Lin could not hold back any longer and she shouted so loudly that it made her spit out black blood.

"Yahhhh" cried empress Zhang Lin very hysterically.

"Dear, please calm down. I beg you to control yourself." said emperor Fang Yi who kept trying to hug his wife to be more calm.

"Dad.. This father is your daughter, father. Dad don't go. This is your daughter father, I still need you father." shouted Zhang Lin stiffening his chest until he vomited blood a second time.

That final vomit made Zhang Lin's entire empress body even weaker. His heart skipped a beat, his breath claustrophobic and in the end his eyes closed in the last second the burning fire was extinguished.

Empress Zhang Lin fell down, her body stiffened and her breathing stopped. There were no signs of life from empress Zhang Lin.

Emperor Fang Yi tried to wake his wife, he woke her up repeatedly, but there was no response. He was so scared, he tried to check his pulse and heartbeat. Emperor Fang Yi fell silent, unable to hear the pulse or heartbeat of his wife.

"Dear please wake up. Honey I beg you to wake up." cried emperor Fang Yi trying to wake his wife.

"Zhang Lin please wake up. Zhang Lin I beg you to wake up." cried emperor Fang Yi increasingly in panic. He tried to give first aid and it turned out to be all in vain.

Emperor Fang Yi could not believe it. He shouted out loudly which frightened everyone.

"Zhang Lin!" emperor Fang Yi shouted very sadly.

Jiantou tried to check his mother's body and he was also very surprised. Jiantou was crying loudly, he was patting his chest, this felt very tight.

"The empress is dead" Jiantou said to everyone.

"What did you say? say it again. Empress why?" snapped Jian to his sister.

"Ge, the empress is dead. He is dead." said Jiantou affirming once again.

Hearing his sister's words, Jian was very surprised and eventually fell weak. His legs were unable to step and his lips were locked, unable to say anything.

Jian just cried and stared softly at his mother's body. He couldn't move his body, his body was stiff.

"Mother empress..!" the twins shouted helplessly together.

In the end Empress Zhang Lin died along with the cremation of general Zhang Ye. In the end he followed his father to nirvana.

The rain bears witness to the grief at Fang's palace. The sky was saddened by the death of general Zhang Ye and empress Zhang Lin. Everyone there was crying with sadness. It was the day of the death of the greatest man in Fang's kingdom.
