"Mother, what weapon is that? can I have it?" ask both of your children at the same time.
"This is a weapon that came out of your body. These two weapons came out after you ate the magic flower. These two weapons can only be had when you are 17 years old" Zhang Lin explained slowly.
"We're done. Are we now able to go to the palace to meet the emperor's uncle Xiao San?" ask both of your children at the same time.
Zhang Lin smiled a sign of agreement. Finally the three of them decided to continue on their way to Xiao's palace. His two children were very happy to be reunited with the emperor who was already considered his own uncle, and perhaps if emperor Fang Yi did not come back to bring them home. Perhaps emperor Xiao San is already a father.
After a very exhausting journey. Finally they reached the Xiao palace. The entire royal occupant was very happy to be reunited with Zhang Lin and his two children. They were greeted with happiness and affection. It was Emperor Xiao San himself who had welcomed them at the door of the western palace.
"Hail your highness. May your majesty live a long life." Zhang Lin said with a happy smile.
"Greetings noble uncle" said the twins running towards the emperor Xiao San and hugging him tightly.
"Your noble uncle. I miss you so much. Has your noble uncle forgotten me?" jiantou asked while showing his regretful face.
"Uncle's sweetest son. When did uncle ever forget you, Hmm?" emperor Xiao San asked a little wooing while holding Jiantou.
"Come in. Uncle had the palace maid prepare a lot of delicious food for you" said emperor Xiao San while holding Jian's hand and holding Jiantou.
The four of them finally entered the dining room and ate the food crazily. They devote their longing to each other after several years of not meeting. After eating Zhang Lin and his two children were escorted to the eastern palace residence to rest. Because the journey was quite tiring and they fell asleep until night.
In the evening the palace servants with emperor Xiao San came to their residence and invited them to dinner. After dinner, her two children were taken by the palace servants to rest again. Zhang Lin was brought in by the emperor Xiao San to accompany him.
Under the moonlight is very beautiful accompanied by a very fragrant tea. They were silent without anyone starting to talk.
"Your Majesty, how are you?" zhang Lin said trying to break this stiff atmosphere.
"Hmm, I'm fine. How are you?" emperor Xiao San asked as he glanced at Zhang Lin's face which he had longed for so long.
"I'm fine." Zhang Lin replied a little awkwardly
"Are you happy with him? have you really given her all your love?" said emperor Xiao San suddenly giving a question that made Zhang Lin's heart slightly hurt.
"I'm sorry, your majesty. I'm sorry I hurt you. Please forget me. You deserve to be happy" Zhang Lin said with a face full of regret.
"Do you love her so much? is there really no hope for me?" emperor Xiao San said in a soft voice.
"So I really have no hope even a little? Hahaha" said emperor Xiao San laughing but full of disappointment.
"Your highness, forgive me" Zhang Lin said feeling sad and trying to appease emperor Xiao San.
"I just hope that in the next life, I can make you my full wife. And you really only belong to me completely" said emperor Xiao San who suddenly hugged Zhang Lin tightly to the point of pressing on his stomach.
"Ahh" shouted Zhang Lin whimpering.
"What's wrong? does your stomach hurt?" emperor Xiao San asked who was shocked and felt guilty for hurting the woman he loved the most.
"It's okay. It's just that my stomach is a little depressed. I was pregnant with a noble one." Zhang Lin explained as he stroked his stomach.
"What's? you pregnant?" emperor Xiao San was surprised.
Zhang Lin simply nodded his head while stroking his stomach.
"Zhang Lin, may I ask for something" said emperor Xiao San.
"Hmm, what does your majesty want? just think of this as my guilt-redemption for your love that I cannot repay" Zhang Lin smiled.
"May I touch your stomach? can I feel the child in your womb?" asked emperor Xiao San hoping.
Zhang Lin nodded his head in approval of emperor Xiao San's wishes.
"My dear daughter-in-law, I wish you could be my son later. I hope you are always healthy and happy. You can take good care of your mother" emperor Xiao San said inwardly as he stroked Zhang Lin's stomach.
"Is she a princess? she'll be as beautiful as you!" emperor Xiao San said with a look of happiness.
"Hmm, I hope that she will become a beautiful princess and be very affectionate to her family in the future" Zhang Lin said expecting the same.
"Zhang Lin, may she be my adopted daughter. I want to have a child from you, even if it is not my flesh and blood" emperor Xiao San said expectantly.
"I will ask this to emperor Fang Yi. If he agrees, I'll approve of him being your adopted son. But you also have to promise me one thing" Zhang Lin said softly.
"You should get married and have a family. If you have a family. There will be no slander and you are free to meet your adopted daughter later" Zhang Lin said as he stroked her stomach gently.
"Should I marry without love?" ask emperor Xiao San.
"I know you don't want to marry a woman you don't love. But at least you must marry to carry on your descendants and keep your kingdom standing strong. I'm sure you'll fall in love with your wife later" Zhang Lin said reassuring Emperor Xiao San's feelings.
"Trust me everything will be fine. I am not with you. But you are still in my heart. It was once in my heart as a person of great value to me. I just want to see you happy and not alone in running this kingdom" Zhang Lin pleaded.
"If that's your wish. Alright, I will marry the best woman and have a descendant of her" emperor Xiao San said slightly wounded.
After that sad conversation. The two of them went back to silence and just stared at the beauty of the moonlight. They both hope for their happiness. In their hearts, they hoped that they would have a happy life.
The night is getting late. None of it is out of the cold air outside. Emperor Xiao San still wished he could have a longer time with Zhang Lin, yet he should not be selfish. Emperor Xiao San decided to return to the palace.
"Let's go in. It is not good for your health and your baby's health." said emperor Xiao San.
As the two of them wanted to get out of the garden, Zhang Lin's heart ached and was unable to hold it back anymore.
"I love you very much, your majesty. I want to see you happy. Don't hurt your own heart. Please rise up and seek happiness for yourself. You are precious to me, your majesty. Hix.. Hiks.." said Zhang Lin and began to shed tears.
He really feels very guilty. She could not be with emperor Xiao San, because she loved her husband very much. Yet he also could not see the sadness in the eyes of emperor Xiao San. In those eyes was implied a very sincere love.
"I knew. I promise that I'll be fine. I will seek the happiness of my life. But I beg you not to try to forbid me to keep loving you until I die" emperor Xiao San said as he hugged Zhang Lin tightly.
That night became the last night emperor Xiao San could feel the warmth of Zhang Lin's embrace. He knew that night would be the last night for him to see Zhang Lin up close and be with him all night.
Eventually the two of them decided to go inside their respective rooms and rest with a sorrow wound in their respective hearts. And maybe the two of them won't forget their togetherness tonight, their whole lives.
Even though the moon shone was beautiful, the atmosphere of the night was silent and painful for the emperors Xiao San and Zhang Lin.
