The Fate of Love of a Misanris

The Fate of Love of a Misanris
4. Sweet Finger And Ring

In the morning Alina was out to buy breakfast. His grandmother was still asleep and he was reluctant to wake her up. Hospital food doesn't make him taste good. Back in town Y, he misses eating at his favorite place.

It was a small food stall located close to an ordinary school building. Usually the place is full by children at certain hours. But at this early morning hours the boys are already in. When Alina stepped onto the place, she could see the state of the deserted food stall.

Alina saw a four-headed woman arranging some food in the storefront. He did it while holding the baby.

"Auntie!" Sapa Alina, widen the corners of her lips smiling politely.

"Dina!" He was surprised, looking happy. "Have not been here in a long time, where have you been?"

"Ah, it turns out that aunt still remembers me"

"Silly girl! How I don't remember my own customers"

"Huh.ha"

Alina has not visited this place for two years. Especially since he went to live in the city of Z. She was with the woman the stall owner was indeed rather familiar. Sometimes he comes to that place with Maya.

But Alina was a little surprised to see the woman carrying a child. From what he knew, the woman was a childless widow. Is he married again?

"The baby's aunt is so cute, is she your son?"

"No, she's the daughter of my cousin, it's just that I'm taking care of her for now"

The woman stared at the little baby in her cradle. Her soft eyes softened with a wry smile on her lips.

"This baby is still very small, but had to lose the affection of both parents"

"I mean aunt?"

The old woman sighed and raised her gaze towards him.

"If you get married one day, find a man who can really take responsibility"

The woman said with a serious and slightly sad face.

"The fate of my female cousin is different from mine. I married a man who turned out to be a drug addict and we got divorced. He married a man who was already married. My cousin doesn't know that at all. Until one day his old wife found out about his whereabouts, crashed into him and it was at that moment that he found out about her. His old wife who turned out to be a rich mistress did not receive in the honey and forced her husband to divorce my cousin. They eventually divorced. My cousin had a very hard time accepting that fact and was feeling down. This baby was just abandoned no one wants to take care of it. I'm bringing it with me for now because of that"

Hearing the story unconsciously Alina's hands clenched. His blood was boiling and his heart was pumping harder.

"Men are men. They're the bastards who ruined our women's happiness. I'm so sorry about your aunt and cousin"

The woman simply nodded, reluctant to respond to Alina's words. His eyes were downcast, looking a little teary contemplating the misfortune of his life.

Alina breathed a heavy sigh. Such misfortunes did not only happen to her mother and grandmother.

After all this, does Alina still believe her grandmother's words that there are still good men in this world?

Maybe it's just bullshit.

"Auntie gave me two packs of rice with chicken and one with fish"

"Don't eat here?"

"No aunt, I have to go back to the hospital. My grandmother was in the hospital there"

The woman very quickly wrapped her two ordered rice. Then hand her over to Alina in a bag of black plastic.

When Alina offered some money to pay, the woman continued to refuse.

"Today I give it for free to you. May your grandmother recover quickly"

Alina felt touched by his kindness. But still insist on paying. And the woman also insisted on refusing.

Alina finally received the lady's favor. But he instead slipped some money into the tiny baby who was still asleep.

"Again, thank you aunt for the free rice!"

Alina said as she lifted the black plastic in her hand.

"This?"

The woman was a little stunned to see some of the money that Alina gave to the baby. It's not much but it's definitely more than enough to buy a box of milk and diapers.

"Watch that as my gift to the little baby. I'll say hi to his mother"

And so Alina went back to the hospital. Along the way, he returns with his sad past.

"Mother I'm hungry!"

The glint of a skinny little Alina again overshadowed his mind. At that time he was complaining of hunger to his mother because it had been two days they only drank without eating anything.

"Wait for daddy to come home! I'll definitely bring home a lot of food for us"

Said her mother who was smiling gently while rubbing her head.

"Mom didn't lie, did she?"

At that time, her mother was silent. A smile that is almost nothing like a smile. In the end, the woman nodded. Just to please her daughter.

In the end the father that Alina was waiting for came home. But didn't bring any food like her mother said.

His father came home only to beat his mother and scold him.

Alina smiled coldly recalling the grim story. Just as he stepped inside his grandmother's place in the care of her.

His smile immediately brightened back.

"Grandma I brought you breakfast!"

Even though her grandmother is old. But he did not like porridge at all and especially the food provided by the hospital. Hence Alina also ordered a pack of rice for him.

"Aunty who owns a grocery store gave it away for free to us"

"Alin you know this grandma doesn't like to eat porridge"

He said while complaining at the bowl of porridge on the table near his bed lying down. Looks like the porridge just got in between.

"I'm your grandson how not to know!"

That way Alina feeds her grandmother a meal, only after her she eats hers. And the phone rings.

Throw the rice packet into the trash. Alina raised the call.

"Assalamu'alaikum Maya"

"Thank God my grandmother is fine"

"I'll definitely tell you!"

"Wa'alaikumsalam"

Alina sat back down near her grandmother lying down. Found her face looking sad and lonely.

Alina reached out her hand to take her old hand and grasped it gently.

"Grandma what's up?"

Erina smiled gently at her grandson. He is currently worried about the fate of his grandson. If he were to leave later, would his beautiful grandson continue to be alone?

Erina took the delicate hand that was grasping her and continued to ponder the plump fingers and the milky white surface.

"Give your other hand to Grandma"

Alina continued to extend her left hand to her grandmother.

And her grandmother looked back at her like her right hand. Until his vantage point falls on his sweet day which is still plain.

Alina's feelings suddenly became complicated. Her grandmother won't be discussing arranged anymore, will she?

"When this ring finger has a pretty ring wrapped around it"

"Grandmother if you'd really like to see her. I'll definitely buy one and wear it"

Alina said it as if she really did not know what her grandmother meant and acted innocently by answering her as she was.

Erina who heard him was unable to hold back a smile.

"It's a good step if someone gives it to you"

"I'll ask Maya to give it to me. He would have been very generous to fulfill it"

Alina still gave a response with a plain smile on her face.

"It's a good step if that person gives it to you without asking"

"Quite grandma!"

Finally Alina could not stand it anymore and shouted.

He had very subtly rejected the conversation that led to the topic from the very beginning. Why does her grandmother not understand.

"If grandma is constantly discussing marriage or matchmaking with me, then even this moment I will return to the city of Z"

Alina got up from her seat and stood up with a gasp of breath due to the pressure of her anger.

"I deliberately took time off to go home to see my grandmother, not to hear the urge to get married or even matchmaking"

"But Alin"

"Quite grandma! I'm an adult, I know what makes me happy or not. So grandma doesn't have to urge me to get married again!"

Alina fears failing to control her emotions will continue to hurt her grandmother if she stays there.

That's why he rushed to open the door. Carrying his face reddened with anger and emotional turmoil that pressed down on his chest.

Just when he was outside. A woman in a medical uniform greeted her with a smile.

"Are you the granddaughter of Erina's mother's patient?"

Alina nodded in confirming.

"Can we talk for a minute?"
