The Fate of Love of a Misanris

The Fate of Love of a Misanris
39. The Guilty Conscience

An hour more has passed. But Zayyad is not out yet. What exactly is that man doing inside? When Alina opened the door to peek.

He saw the white bed empty. Is it possible that Zayyad is still soaking in the bathroom? Knitting a pair of eyebrows, Alina felt complicated with herself. Why is he worried about that guy?

Shaking her head, Alina dismissed the feeling all the way. There's nothing to worry about. Men deserve to feel it too. There are so many women who have been hurt because of them.

Those who are hurt by women, isn't it fun? Thinking that Alina could not help but hide the smile on her face.

He closed the door and sat down on the sofa. Looking at the rice box he brought, it was impossible to give it to Zayyad.

Think of it because he pityes the man. So this time, Alina decided to order some food. A few minutes passed until the order arrived.

Alina went downstairs to get it. Incidentally because there was Bakri there, he immediately turned to the man.

"Bakri"

Bakri who was talking to one of the employees, turned his head towards him. "Well, what's wrong, ma'am?" Said polite.

"Please pay this food to the man waiting there"

After saying that without waiting for Bakri's reply, Alina left just like that.

Bakri took a long breath. Facing Alina did train her patience. That woman was harder to deal with than her own master. He thought how could his master deal with such a woman?

Alina put the food on the table. Look at Zayyad who's already sitting at his desk.

That man who just a moment ago looked so pitiful.

Now he is back to seriously facing his job. His forehead that was wrinkled like it was sinking thought of something. His eyes that fell straight onto the laptop screen, were watching the screen intently.

It was just that his face that normally looked white and cold, it looked slightly flushed unnaturally. Clamping his pair of eyebrows, Zayyad seemed to hold back the discomfort.

Is that guy sick?

"I've ordered food" Alina said to Zayyad's desk. "Eat"

Zayyad typed something on top of the keyboard. Without looking at Alina he said. "Later"

Alina was upset. He was generous with ordering food for her. But Zayyad refused to eat. You know, he wouldn't bother to care.

Look at the laptop. He poked his lips withstanding the smile from his cunning thoughts. Raising his hand, he immediately closed the laptop until it hit the hand of Zayyad who was typing below him.

Zayyad who saw Alina's behavior, responded calmly. Pulling both hands from the laptop, he looked up at Alina who was still standing next to her desk with an innocent look.

"Eat!" He said with a smile. It looks natural and is much more pleasant than usual which is always insincere and looks pushy.

"If you don't eat then I will"

"I eat!" Cut off Zayyad and get up from his seat.

Alina looked at the obedient Zayyad, pulling both corners of her lips smiling in satisfaction.

Zayyad sat on the sofa quietly. Picking up the dining box on the table only to be held back by a beautiful and delicate white hand. Zayyad looked up to find Alina who was smiling awkwardly.

"Don't eat this one" Alina pulled the box and replaced it with a white plastic bag filled with food. Looks like it just got a message from the restaurant because it still feels warm.

"It's cold, it's still warm!" Alina pointed towards the white package she had just replaced earlier.

Zayyad glanced at the lunchbox that Alina took, she silently smiled as if she knew something. It's chilly? He knew the reason was not that simple.

"What your grandmother said turned out to be true"

Zayyad did not answer. He spent the food in his mouth.

The way the man eats strongly reflects his calm and orderly character. When he chews at all it does not produce any sound and is so polite. His movements were not slow nor was he in a hurry.

Even Alina who is a woman when eating does not get like that. He eats very casually, no matter his movements sooner or later. As long as he enjoyed it, he didn't care much.

"Grandma didn't say anything weird, did she?" Investigate the impatient Alina. Waiting for the man to chew a mouthful of food alone was like spending thousands of years.

Zayyad smiled faintly and shook his head. "No" Hearing that short answer Alina was not satisfied. "Then what did Grandma tell you?"

Zayyad pressed his chest with a facial expression that explained he needed water. Alina who noticed that kept sneering. If he needs water, why not just take it for yourself?

But in the end, Alina woke up. At that moment there was a knock from the door. When he opened it it turned out it was Bakri.

"You!" Alina sounded sniffled.

Bakri, who was used to Alina's unfriendly nature, only smiled politely at her. "Mrs Alina"

"Give me a glass of water for your master"

"Good Mom"

That way Bakri went to get a glass of water for his master. Since there was still Alina inside, it was impossible to talk about the dismissal. However he did not dare to offend Alina blatantly.

Alina sat back on the sofa. A few minutes later Bakri returned with a glass of water. Zayyad took it and drank it quietly. Putting the glass on the table, he looked up at Bakri. "Thank you"

"Together sir"

Alina who saw that praised Zayyad's attitude silently. Although a big boss, but he did not hesitate to thank his subordinates even though it was only a small action.

Zayyad threw a signal-filled gaze at Bakri. He told her to leave them both.

Bakri, who understood Zayyad's intentions, nodded his head and came out.

"Thank you for your help today" Zayyad said in a heartfelt voice. If only Alina had not come, do not know what rumors have been spread again about her.

"Then how do you repay me?" Alina tilted her head with a demanding smile. "What do you want?" Zayyad leaned his back against the sofa. The food on the table is over.

Alina thought for a moment. For now, he doesn't know what to ask. But he did not want to miss this precious opportunity. "Let me tell you later"

Zayyad just nodded. Then he went back to his desk. Alina picked up her handbag and rushed out.

When he opened the door, Zayyad called out to him. "Iina"

Alina stopped her steps and looked back. "Is there anything else?"

"Thank you again" It sounded so soft as the autumn breeze. Highlight his melancholic eyes smiling full of unspeakable taste.

That's a deeper gratitude than ever before.

Alina just nodded and came out.

In his heart he was a little sorry. He had just asked for his help. But why did this man come back to thank him so sincerely.

Like this somehow he felt a guilty conscience.
