The Fake Princess's Soul Contract Duke

The Fake Princess's Soul Contract Duke
Chapter 22: The Disrespectful Boy

"Good morning, Miss Estelle."

"Miss Estelle!"

A greeting from the soldiers who were training, as Estelle passed through the outskirts of their training area.

The knights looked at Estelle with a gaze like seeing something very valuable, so that when Estelle passed by, they automatically stopped whatever they were doing, to just greet their beloved miss, and Estelle also gave them a cheerful smile back which made their faces all flushed.

Ah, it seems that they are not aware of the existence of Alianora who had just put on a disgusted face to them.

"Miss, why is Miss here? Did Miss finish training?"

Estelle shook her head slowly, then pulled Alianora's hand.

"No, no. Elle Belom finished training, more precisely Estelle is resting now, while carrying sister around, right sister?"

It was only when Estelle turned to him that the soldiers became aware of Alianora's presence.

Their expressions showed shock, but they did not immediately greet Alianora.

They whispered to each other and looked at Alianora from top to bottom.

"Eh, that 'sister' that Miss Estelle is forcing..is she Miss Thalia 'that'?"

"Huh, Miss Thalia who's hardly ever seen that?"

"What's he doing here?"

They continued to chatter without caring if their voice was loud enough for Alianora to hear.

"Did he come here to practice as well?"

"No way, where is there anyone who practices using such a dress?"

"Haha right, it's impossible anyway. Miss Thalia has no magic. At most he's here to see our lady's prowess."

Alianora who had started to get fed up with the endless chattering of the soldiers, was intending to shut their mouths one by one, but a heavy and firm voice suddenly appeared from behind her.

"Hey, what are you guys doing here? Did I ever tell you to stop?"

Alianora looked back and saw a tall man with a field chest and a burly body, walking towards her.

Dark blue hair with white accents in the trim is short and neat, looking to match his thin face.

Even though Alianora did not look directly but she knew, that the middle-aged man in front of her must be very handsome in his youth.

"What are you waiting for, hurry back!"

"Prepare commander!"

The man was none other than Sir Gallahan, commander of the Sheridan army.

After making sure his men had returned to training, Sir Gallahan immediately turned to look at Alianora.

He respectfully bowed, "Sorry for the disrespectful attitude of my men just now, Miss Thalia, Miss Estelle. I promise to educate them that such events will not happen again."

Indeed, out of all the Knights of the Sheridan Family, only Sir Gallahan treated Thalia as solemnly as his nona.

Although at first, Thalia rarely met him, but she remained loyal to Thalia.

Wanting it first, second, and third life, Sir Gallahan always protected Thalia from any danger, and even lost his life for Thalia.

He respected and loved Thalia from childhood.

He was more like a father to Thalia, than Kalisto.

Alianora deeply regretted that Thalia ignored such a person. Loyal people like Sir Gallahan are rare, but Thalia does not see it.

He prefers to get the attention of inappropriate people.

Huh, what an inappropriate choice.

Therefore, now that Alianora was here, she would not waste such a person.

Alianora replied to him with a sincere smile.

"It's okay, Sir Gallahan. It's not your fault, you don't have to apologize. Perhaps they were surprised to see my sudden arrival like this."

"But brother, those soldiers are indeed a little disrespectful, they don't even greet brother."

Oh, is that all you've caught, Elle? What's 'a little' hm?

Alianora waved her hand.

"Not what, Elle. I'm doing fine. Oh yeah, by the way, is Sir Gallahan Elle's teacher?"

"Hehe, yes brother. It was Sir Gallahan who taught Elle sword arts all along! You know, Sir Gallahan is great! What is taught is easy to understand. Elle understood quickly!"

"Haha, thank you for the compliment, Miss Estelle, even though I myself still feel lacking. But if you really think so, I'm hoping you can apply the knowledge you've learned to defeat Eathen."

The mathen? Where have I heard that name?

Hearing Sir Gallahan's temptation, Estelle puffed her cheeks in annoyance.

"Hmph! That's what doesn't make sense, but look, I'll definitely beat him later."

"Um, Elle, who's Eathen?"

"uh? Oh yeah, I forgot to tell my sister. That's Eathen, Sir Gallahan's son. He also happened to be practicing swordplay with me."

I don't know how many times Alianora replayed her memories but it seems she still can't remember where the last time she heard the name of Eathen was. Obviously the name was familiar but he didn't know who.

When Alianora, Estelle and, Gallahan had already returned to Estelle's training area, right next to the other soldiers' training area.

Alianora's eyes were immediately fixed on the figure of a boy whose height was not much different from her.

The boy was swinging his sword towards the straw dolls.

He did so with all sorts of styles, and as a swordsman himself, Alianora could not help but idle the technique of the boy.

Hm, the movement is agile, the position is perfect. There is no excessive movement, for a child this small, doing it right is already very extraordinary.

Estelle shouted in annoyance as she walked over to the boy who looked a little shocked.

The boy turned his back, revealing a pair of tanzanite purple eyes, matching his father, under his dark blue hair.

"Miss Elle. You're asking for a break on your own, doesn't mean I have to come."

"Eathen is cheating, if you keep practicing, I'll be left behind. Eathen should take a break with me too."

Eathen squinted his eyes sharply at Estelle, with his eyebrows slightly swooping down.

"Huh? That's none of my business."

"Eathen! Don't be disrespectful to Miss Estelle."

Sir Gallahan rebuked Eathen who only he countered by rolling his eyeballs.

Then the look in those eyes fell on Alianora's blue silver bead. Instantly both of his eyebrows slightly raised.

He looked at Alianora in silence for a while, before his mouth slowly opened.

"Who are you?"

Silent.

Alianora was surprised to hear the question, did the boy really not recognize her?

But Alianora again remembered that she was the duke's daughter who was anti-social, so be advised that her face was not well recognized by many people, especially by small children.

Sir Gallahan, who saw his son pointing at Alianora, immediately informed Eathen of Alianora's identity.

"Miss Thalia, introduce this is my son Eathen. This Eathen is Miss Thalia, sister of Miss Estelle."

"Sister? Hm..oh, so you're Miss Thalia."

Eathen gave Alianora a probing look.

"Eathen, if you already know Miss Thalia's identity, don't be so disrespectful to her. Let's quickly apologize."

Alianora who saw that just laughed a little.

"Ahaha, it's okay, Sir Gallahan. No need to be so formal until it is. Oh yeah, Elle, is your break still long? When are you going to be back in training?"

"Ah, of course I ate breakfast for a while, hm, but the waiter who brought the snack did not come. Then I'll check it out for a second, okay? Wait here brother!"

Hearing that, Sir Gallahan simply laughed while watching Estelle disappear from her training area.

"Then, I'll go for a while to prepare some things. Miss Thalia, is it okay for me to stay a while?"

Alianora just shook her head slowly.

"It's okay, Sir Gallahan. I'm just here waiting for Elle to come back."

"All right then, miss. If you need anything, you can call Eathen. Eathen, you're with Miss Thalia, okay?"

Alianora and Eathen replied simultaneously. "Well, Sir Gallahan.", "Yes, yes."

After Sir Gallahan disappeared, in the training area only Alianora and Eathen alone remained.

They still don't communicate with each other.

Alianora thought about what could be used to start a conversation with the boy next to her. As for Eathen himself, just looking at Alianora with a probing gaze.

"Um, Eathen right? Hello, yeah?"

Alianora put on the sweet smile that she used to use every time she met noble children her age, while extending her hand to invite Eathen to shake hands.

But Eathen only saw Alianora's hand sticking out toward him, then turned toward Alianora again.

The look on his face was like saying, 'are you serious?', before turning to take his sword off the ground.

"You know my name, why ask? No need to make small talk."

Eathan held his sword and continued the training he had done before, regardless of Alianora who was behind him, who still stuck out a hand with a stiff smile, but this time a quadrilateral crossroad appeared at his temple.

Patient Alianora, patient, after all he is not an antagonist who must be eradicated. Consider it the behavior of a child.

Never mind, rather than him standing alone here with such a disrespectful brat doing nothing, it was better for him to continue his initial desire of coming to the training area.

"Um, hey Eathen, do you know where the training equipment storage warehouse is?"

Eathan, stop swinging the sword and stare at Alianora. His eyes looked at Alianora deeply.

"What are you there for?"

"I'll just look around for a minute."

"look-look? Wanna see what it is?"

"Yes, just take a look. Can't it?"

Eathen answered Alianora almost without pause.

"No. There's no place for a weak princess like you to be."

It remained a little longer until his perfect 'noble son' mask, shattered into pieces.

And Alianora was still trying her hardest, to swallow that irritated feeling back into her stomach.

Finally, Alianora scratched her head slightly, sighing. The Eathen in front of him just tilted his head and looked at Alianora in confusion.

"Hey," Alianora began, her head still lowered, "Sir Gallahan said if I needed anything, I could call you. Now I need to go to the training equipment storage, so you should be with me, right? If not."

Eathen looked at Alianora suspiciously. Seeing the change in tone of Alianora's speech made her a little confused, but she kept listening.

"if not? What are you gonna do?"

Alianora then raised her head. His smile was gone, replaced by a dark countenance, and a sharp glare glared at Eathan.

"I'll tell your father."
