I told you before there are things that will happen when I turn 20. To be exact today, my birthday, my happy day, and my 20th year I saw how beautiful the world was. Our family was celebrating my birthday at a resort owned by my father's friend. My dad hired his friend's resort just to celebrate. This resort is near the beach, so a party was held on the beach with a simple. Though I didn't expect a celebration like this, I felt like I was a kid watching this birthday celebration. This age does not require a celebration. 20 Is the age at which adolescents are considered adults and can be responsible for themselves. But why they even make a celebration of everything.

I feel like something strange is going on. And it's true that there are things that my parents have to say. Not usually my birthday is celebrated outside the area like this. Usually my birthday is only held at home without inviting others. Even my 17th birthday only my close family and close friends were invited to be held at home simply. But this time it was a surprise.

At 5:35 pm

The wind blew slowly making the tree like dancing in the scorching sun that afternoon.

Fishermen go back and forth to transport the catch to their homes. The party is over all the guests some have returned to the hotel each remaining some of the guests father left and my two best friends Ale and Dennis. I left my father's guest after greeting and thanking him for his presence. Sitting by the beach gazing beautifully at the twilight that afternoon. Accompanied by two friends who were always beside me and remembered someone far away. Does he remember me and my birthday? Is he okay? where is he? What do? There were so many things I thought about him but none of those questions I knew the answer to.

"Alana, what are you thinking?" Ask Dennis who has been staring at my face.

"It's nothing, I just feel like something's wrong"

"Wrongly? What do you mean, who did you disappoint? The rich are all satisfied and smooth at the party" Ale asked and it seems Dennis also agreed with Ale

"Let's see why I think that. But I have a feeling something's going to happen"

"It's just your feeling, maybe you're tired all day you welcome a lot of guests you must be tired so so that's how it is. Don't think it's a happy day think about what makes you happy"

Ale calmed me down and Dennis also nodded in agreement.

"Let's go back to this resort in the afternoon, you must also be tired to rest Lana" Take Dennis while standing up from his seat and follow Ale and me.

Dinner was delicious on the table as if a full-day party was not satisfied, at the table were my parents, Ale, Dennis and I.

"Do you know at what age you get married? Of course you don't know much because we haven't told you. Father and mother married at the age of 20 years when the mother was in college level 1 and the father in the 2nd level" the atmosphere is slow no one asked or cut the father

"At that time, we married because our parents were close and promised to marry their children. But along with the matchmaking, the seed of love began to grow in our hearts. Finally after 2 months of introduction we got married and then after graduating college your mother pregnant you son"

"Now that times have changed, matchmaking is outdated but I want you to try son, know someone your father's friend's son son. This is my father's wish"

My father's silent atmosphere had already finished his sentence. What a shocking word to everyone who heard it. Me, Mom, Ale and Dennis. There was no answer coming out of my mouth, it felt as if my lips were still unable to answer. My father sighed softly, saying hopefully.

"Please think about this well, son, whatever you wish you'll receive" my father stood up to leave the dinner table and followed my mother. I was sitting there like I couldn't believe what my father just said.

Ale and Dennis were as surprised as I was to just sit staring in disbelief. But they soon came to their senses and asked me to stand up. Ale and Dennis took me in for a breath of fresh air outside. Sitting by the beach like this afternoon. I still haven't said anything just silently staring at the starry night sky. Beside me these two people were still looking at each other to comfort me but were reluctant to worsen my mood.30 minutes passed without any conversation being spoken. Until I started to open my voice.

"You enter. You must be tired, right"

"Where may I leave you alone in this state, be quiet I will not ask you anything. But promise me when you can't keep it to yourself. I'm here, beside you will listen to all your stories" Ale fell silent again after saying that

"I'm fine, don't worry about me and go to sleep"

"Don't act okay, you're not okay, alana. Cry if it makes you feel better, I'll lend you my shoulder" Dennis turned to me.

That night my tears broke, mixed feelings even without coercion. The cry of selfishness of a girl who has not given any happiness to her parents. Also a cry of longing for someone who is somewhere. The cry can no longer be mourned. My two best friends are witnesses of my selfishness.
