Oscar repeatedly counted his first salary after working at a minimarket twenty-four hours and the man's face looked incredulous.
"Sir, are you sure you're not giving me the wrong salary?" Ask Oscar once again to the store manager.
"Why? Your salary's excess?" The store manager took the money in Oscar's hands, then counted it quickly.
"It's fitting!"
"Please go home, Mr. Petrichor! And I'll see you tomorrow!" Said the store manager with a face that looked so relaxed.
"But-"
"I work full time every day, sir! Why is my salary only like this?" The Oscar protest was not at all publicized by the store manager.
Oscar was only able to growl and finally the man came out of the store with a frustrated look. The current salary of Oscar is nothing at all with the payment when he was an escort. The money in his hands right now was even just enough to pay the rent of the house alone. Then how will Oscar and Jesslyn eat and move on?
Can Oscar go back to his old job and sell himself back to rich women?
****
"You've asked the manager about the salary when you're doing your job?" Jesslyn asked after hearing Oscar's complaint about her salary, which was just enough to pay the rent.
"No!"
"I think the salary will be as big as when I was an escort yesterday" Oscar replied, which immediately made Jesslyn roll her eyes.
"Your fault means the one who didn't ask from the beginning" comments Jesslyn who instead blamed Oscar.
"Can you stop blaming me and make me look like a stupid man?"
"Why don't you just find a solution so we can get some extra money for your meal and tuition!" Cecar Oscar plays an emotional role on Jesslyn.
"I told you I'm not going to school! I can still study at home and you don't mind teaching me since yesterday either" Jesslyn said.
"No objection but my head nearly exploded" Oscar muttered slightly annoyed.
"So you don't want to teach me anymore, do you?" Jesslyn's slender question made Oscar cluck.
"I didn't say that! I'm just saying honestly uneg-uneg in my heart!" Sergey Oscar is seeking a defense.
"Whatever!" Jesslyn muttered lazily.
"By the way about that extra income, I think you should find another job to earn extra income" Jesslyn suggested to Oscar.
"You mean, I have to do two jobs in one day, right?" Oscar asked, staring in disbelief at Jesslyn.
"Yes! Don't you want extra income? Then you'll have to work hard, Oscar!" Jesslyn answered like an expert. Unlike Oscar who now rubs his face repeatedly and looks frustrated.
"Can I sell myself again?" Ask Oscar who was directly gifted delikan from Jesslyn.
"All right, I'm just kidding!" Oscar raised both his hands and chuckled.
"I only bought two burgers for our dinner! The money's up to pay for the house." Oscar thrusts a burger bag into Jesslyn's hands that may be starving by now.
"Thank you! At least I'll be fat in a couple of weeks because you keep feeding me this junk food!" Jesslyn replied, chuckling. Jesslyn opened the burger bag that Oscar had given her, took out two burgers from inside and gave it to Oscar.
"What do you think I should do to get us to eat tomorrow?" Oscar asked Jesslyn for her opinion.
"You could be a food courier" Jesslyn said.
"I don't memorize the streets here. What if I get lost?" Oscar said reasoned.
"Keeping a toddler?" Jesslyn gave me another idea.
"I was afraid of suddenly exploding and then slamming the toddler I was guarding." Oscar chuckled a little.
"Working at the car wash!" Said Jesslyn who somehow never ran out of ideas.
"There are vacancies? Don't they usually use machines?" Ask Oscar who immediately made Jesslyn nod.
"Totally so."
"But there's no harm in asking, Osh!" Jesslyn was not giving up.

Oscar came home a little quickly and the man accidentally saw Jesslyn who also seemed to have just returned home. The ten-year-old girl was seen entering the rental house building, then taking the elevator. Oscar hurriedly chased after her out of curiosity, Jesslyn from where.
"Jess!" Call Oscar when Jesslyn just unlocks the door. The girl also seemed to be opposing something in her hands.
"Where are you from?" Ask Oscar oenuh.
"You're home, Osh? Why so fast"
"Where are you from?" Oscar repeated the question.
"Work!" Jesslyn answered while pushing the door after she had made the key. The girl went inside immediately followed by Oscar who entered.
"What do you mean work? And which fool hires a ten-year-old"
"My age is seventeen out there!" Sela Jesslyn cut off Oscar's blur.
Judging from her posture, Jesslyn did look like a seventeen-year-old girl. The girl was tall in stature with a sizable body.
"What do you work for?" Ask Oscar, suspicious.
"Just keep the toddlers!" Jesslyn replied as she pulled out the food from the bag she had brought.
"Keeping toddlers? You're a kid, Jess! How can you keep a toddler?" Ask Oscar in disbelief.
"I'm learning!" Sergey Jesslyn fast.
"After all, I only keep them two to three hours and not all day! So it's not a hard job!" Jesslyn told Oscar.
"But what if something happens? Last time you were in the kitchen you almost burned it?" Oscar was still worried and brought up the incident in their old house.
"I'm looking after a toddler, Osh! Not cooking!"
"And I'm not in the kitchen looking after toddlers!" Sergey Jesslyn explained.
"Look! I can buy food for both of us with my money!" Jesslyn said again that only made Oscar tick. Not the winning fancy food Jesslyn bought. But at least that's enough to fill Oscar and Jesslyn's stomach instead of having to endure hunger all day.
"How many times have you done this job?" Ask Oscar again.
"This is the third time" Jesslyn answered honestly.
"You shouldn't have to do the job, Jess! I'll definitely find a side job"
"I don't feel burdened at all, Osh!" Cut Jesslyn fast.
"I like to keep toddlers, because there I can watch television and the owner of the house also allows me to eat snacks in the refrigerator," jesslyn's story again seems to remind Oscar that he was not able to provide facilities and decent living space for Jesslyn.
"Well, if you like it," the Oscar dropout who finally has no reason to ban Jesslyn.
"But don't stay away from the house and never steal in the host's house!" Oscar warns and points the finger at Jesslyn.
"I've never stolen anyone's stuff!" Elak Jesslyn fast.
"You stole my money!" Oscar recalls Jesslyn's behavior in their old house.
"Isn't your money my money, too? I'm your responsibility!" Jesslyn replied which immediately made Oscar snort and sneer.
"You can reason!"
"Let's eat!" Take Jesslyn and throw a box of food in front of Oscar. Father and daughter otu enjoyed their meal still while chatting occasionally.
