CH. 30 – Ancient Reefs

“What??? Not a single person had managed to take the ancient heirloom from there?” Zhou Fu, who had initially closed his eyes, now tried to open his eyes while sitting cross-legged with the back of his hand propping up his chin. There was a spirit turmoil appearing on his chest from feeling challenged.

Shen Shen Shen's eyes sparkled, his smile flashing as he saw Zhou Fu becoming interested in the topic of the Luzon Sea. Shen Shen jumped from where he was to sit near Zhou Fu who was seriously thinking.

“Alright, we must first find montipora, a coral reef that used to live at a depth of 300 feet. If we could find ancient montipores, we could even survive in the water for more than a day,” Zhou Fu narrowed his eyes to see a stretch of sea that could potentially become a coral reef habitat in it.

Shen Shen Shen's face looks surprised, montipora is a marine biota that is quite common in shallow seas and has a purplish blue color. He did not expect if the type of coral reef has very good properties.

Zhou Fu quickly stepped into the banquet hall, where Shen Shen placed the map scroll obtained from the noble son Feng Yaoshan.

The map that Feng Yaoshan drew was taken out by Shen Shen from inside the storage tube. Some of the islands on the map had cross marks which meant that the region was inhabited by groups allied to the Silver Dragon association.

“The coast of the island seems to have a lot of coral reef habitat!” shen Shen's index finger pointed towards a single point.

Zhou Fu's eyes followed Shen Shen's index finger and his head began to nod slowly. Not all oceans have coral reefs, but experienced people are able to analyze which parts of the sea are likely to be lived by a group of coral reefs.

“Your observation is good too!” Zhou Fu gave Shen Shen a small compliment.

“Oh yes, if later our trip feels boring, I will try to visit the islands marked cross, you do not try to get in the way!” Zhou Fu spoke again, according to him, the adventure without being blocked by the enemy is like the starless night sky.
