Sabang Pulau Weh is an island in Aceh province and the first island in the Indonesian archipelago located at the westernmost tip of Indonesia or rather the northernmost island of Sumatra. Most of the transportation is minibus and tricycle or rickshaw transport. Usually the price for shuttle transportation in Sabang is per person. The price from Balohan Port to Iboih is Rp. 50,000 per person, Balohan to Sumur Tiga Rp. 25.000 – 30.000 per person, Balohan to Sabang City Rp. 20,000 – 25,000 per person. In the port there is also a motorbike rental available at the rate of 100,000 – 150,000 one day. There is also a car rental in Sabang with prices starting from 500,000 – 800,000 rupiah one day.

The mill is one of the diving destinations in Sabang. There are two dive operators here with some of the best resorts on the beach. This beach is truly a peaceful and privacy place with a white sand beach overlooking Seulako Island.

The best time to visit Sabang is during March to November with good and sunny weather. If you are looking for a time with a little hot weather in April, May and June with a temperature of about 33 degrees Celsius during the day and 23 degrees Celsius at night.
