PLTD MONUMENT

The arrival of Zain and Zeze at their aunt's house was welcomed by her aunt Zeze and her mother who had gone first to banda aceh.

Zeze and Zain continued their tour around the city of banda aceh, and Zeze also brought Zain to a place where a ship was stranded in the city after the tsunami, one of which is the PLTD Monument (Diesel Power Plant) Floating in Punge Village, Blancut, Banda Aceh. As the name implies, this ship is a source of electricity for the Ulee Lheue – area where this ship was moored before the tsunami.

Currently, the area around PLTD Apung has been purchased by the government to be reorganized into a vehicle for educational tourism. To commemorate the victims who fell due to the tsunami, a memorial was built. On the monument, the date and time of the incident of the disaster that also befell several countries other than Indonesia.

Around the monument, built a wall with reliefs resembling a flood wave. From this boat, visitors can also see the Bukit Barisan mountain range.

zeze explained to Zain about the PLTD monument.
