Maya's fiancee.

The sun is still reluctant to show its light, but Maya is out of the house. Early in the morning he had set foot on the public transport, he was about to meet someone, someone he had not visited long enough.

A family cemetery became his goal, he stared at the entrance gate of the tomb long enough, before finally venturing his trembling legs, towards the final resting place of his loved ones.

Tears that peeked at the corner of his eyes he soon after, he once promised, will only return with a smile not a tear like two years ago when he drove the body of his lover was gone for good.

Maya bends her legs, a smile she develops as she stares at the gravestone that reads Ardi lesmana.

"Haiy, In. How are you doing? Sorry, I've just got the courage to come now!" He said, in a hoarse voice.

The Flashback

That afternoon, Maya was standing in front of her father's shop. Today he has permission to go home quickly, Ardi promised her his fiance would take him to dinner with his extended family. His face slowly faded away and changed, after more than an hour, the fiancee still did not come to pick him up. It's strange! Though usually his fiancee was always on time, never molested let alone breaking promises.

He still thinks, maybe the streets are jammed. He decided to go home by riding an ojek, let Ardi pick him up at home later. In his heart he has prepared many words to vent his frustration on the lover, if he meets later.

But when she got home, she saw her mother locked the door ready to go, "Where are you going?" He asked when he was near his mother.

Mom looked a little surprised, "Thank God you're home, son! Erdi..." Say the mother without answering her question.

"Why art, Mom?" He asked, in his heart had appeared various bad thoughts that he immediately tepis. However, Mom's subsequent statement shattered her expectations.

Maya no longer asks much, she rushes to the hospital where her fiance is being treated. They arrive late at night because the location of the hospital is in the middle of the city, Maya rushed to find a nursery on behalf of Ardi lesmana, he was like a madman asking around here and there, forgot that there was a cell phone in his pocket that he could use to contact Ardi's family.

A nurse escorted him to the ICU, where in the waiting room Ardi's family was waiting for him. "May!" Ardi's mother being the first to notice her presence, she hugs Maya tightly, shedding her tears on the girl's shoulder.

"Thank God you've come, son! I'm sorry we couldn't pick you up." Said Ardi's Father.

"What's going on, Auntie? Why did Ardi get into the hospital? And why the ICU room?" He asked, with a voice that was raspy.

"Ardi has stage 3 leukemia, May! He had a nosebleed this morning, we had him in the hospital, but he refused! He said he had an appointment with you this afternoon." Said Mother Ardi with a cry.

Leukemic? Isn't that blood cancer? But how can it be? All he knew was that Ardi was fine, never complaining, then how could he suddenly suffer from the deadly disease?.Is it stage 3? Oh my God, how could he not know!

"When did Ardi get this disease, Auntie? Hasn't she been okay all this time? He never even looked sick, Auntie! How can it be stage 3?" Mayan Cecar.

Ardi's father sighed, he began to tell."Yep! Ardi never looks sick, he will always try to be okay in front of you." Said Ardi's father." The doctor diagnosed him with acute leukemia two years ago, the doctor suggested chemotherapy, but Ardi refused! Maya's body is limp, she could have fallen if only the mother did not hold her back. "May!"

Ardi's father sighed. "His cancer cells have spread to his body's vital organs, Ardi was declared in a coma!" Said Ardi's Father.

"No! That's impossible!" Maya Exclamation. "Ardi just fucked me again, Om! He's gearing up again! I want to see him, I'll wake him up! I'll prove to you Ardi that you're just gonna get me, he's gonna have to prepare a surprise for me inside." Cetus Maya, with all her might, stepped into the ICU room. A nurse gave him special clothes, he was stunned if indeed this was just a prank should it involve nurses as well? But he still denies, and believes that this is only part of his lover's plan. Maya wears a special suit and begins to enter the hospital room.

Maya pecked at seeing her lover lying weakly on the hospital bed, many tools attached to his body, she stepped trembling near the bed of the person she loved so much.

Her tears had already spilled, caving the river soaking her cheeks. Maya gazes at Ardi's immobile, silent body .. Only the sound of the ECG machine becomes their accompanying music.

Maya bites her lower lip strong, her voice choked. "Wake up, Di.. It's not funny!" Maya's words began to open her quivering lips. She still hoped that her fiance would wake up and laugh at the look on her face at this moment, saying "Surprise!"
