There is sadness in the midst of happiness

There was the sound of instructions from a flight attendant.

In a few minutes, the plane will land at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. Wine looked so agitated, then he looked at his watch. Om Dimas who was sitting next to noticed the restlessness of Wine while pulling his hand.

 "Replace seat belts! the plane will be landing soon!!"

"Yes Om."

Wine quickly put his seatbelt back on, before the plane landed.

His return to Bali today was due to Katrina being ill. Wine knew very well that his mother rarely fell ill, she was a strong woman and hard work but suddenly when yesterday Wine attended the invitation of Melda and Vishnu engagement, mbok Lastri told me that my mother was in the care of a hospital. 

Wine walks with Om Dimas to the arrival terminal as his phone rings.

"Hello!"

"Neng, Mbok Lastri is waiting at the arrival terminal!"

"Well, why did Lastri pick up Wine! who's keeping mom in the hospital?"

"Mommy told me to pick up the sweet!  omah's guarding!!"

Wine turned off his phone and saw Lastri waving his hand at him.

"Om Dimas, Wine's been picked up! thank you om!!"

Om Dimas looked at the woman who was waving his hand, he recognized the figure of the old half woman. When the rare was getting closer, Om Dimas was surprised that the person who picked up Wine was a Lastri mbok who had worked with the Cakra family.

"Bok Lastri, how are you!!" Om Dimas extended his hand.

"Good!"

"Om Dimas knows?" ask Wine.

Mbok Lastri looks a little nervous in front of Om Dimas.

"Yes! Mbok Lastri used to work as the head housekeeper at Om's house!"

"Wine this is my granddaughter!!" mbok Dimas.

When hearing Lastri's words, Wine furrowed his eyebrows when Mbok Lastri said he was Pastri's grandson. Mbok Lastri pulled Wine's hand as if giving the code to Wine.

"Then Wine said Om, once again thank you!!"shaking hands.

Wine and Mbok Lastri left I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport by taking a taxi to a hospital. Om Dimas was still standing, looking towards the taxi that was driven by Wine. His encounter with Mbok Lastri astonished him, Wine's attitude towards Mbok Lastri was like that between his master and the man, unlike grandmother and grandchildren.

35 Minutes later

Wine walked towards the room where Katrina was cared for, Room 102 orchids. Katrina was lying down, while there was an omah beside Katrina. 

"Mommy!" 

Wine held Katrina's hand.

"Mommy is still asleep, the doctor gave her medicine to sleep!!" say Omah.

Wine looked towards Omah, this was the first time omah spoke to him, After years of silence. Omah got up from his seat and went to Wine and held his hand.

"Wine, omah actually loves you!!" say Omah.

The tears flowed from omah's cheeks, and at once Wine hugged the omah tightly. The two embrace each other. Mbok Lastri, who saw the incident, cried.

"I'm sorry omah!"

"Yes, I'm sorry Wine is also omah!!"

Omah hugged Wine, then wiped away the tears that had soaked his cheeks.

"Remove your tears! look at mami!!" say Omah.

Wine smiled, then immediately wiped his tears and sat down beside Katrina. Katrina, who was fast asleep, looked very pale and thin, while the infusion hose stuck on her hands and feet and oxygen hose on her nose. Katrina made Wine sad and cried again. Mbok Lastri who was near Wine immediately stroked his back.

"Wine, you're patient!!"

"Omah, what's the pain of Mami?"

Omah approached Wine, took Wine out and sat down in front of Katrina's nursery.

"Omah, what's the sick mommy?"

Omah was downcast with a sad face and his eyes began to glaze over.

"Brain cancer!!"

"What Omah? Brain cancer!!"

"Yes, the doctor said there's cancer lodging in the brain!!"

"You're patient, hopefully there's still healing for mommy!!" say Omah.

"The doctor will do further tests! let's just pray that the cancer hasn't spread!!"

Omah hugged Wine tightly, then tried to calm him down. Indeed today is a happy day for Wine, omah who used to be silent, so haunted in his eyes, today he is so very different, he said, Wine could feel the affection of a grandmother that he had longed for. 

About half an hour Wine and omah sat together and chatted, seeing a doctor and a nurse enter the treatment room, where Katrina was being treated. Wine and omah rushed into Katrina's treatment room and saw the doctor examining Katrina.

"Doctor, how's he doing?"

"Today we're starting to see improvements!!"

"What about the cancer Doc?"

"We're still making observations back ma'am!!"

"Good doctor!"

After the doctor performed a few minutes' examination and the nurse gave an injection into the infusion, the doctor and nurse came out of Katrina's treatment room. Suddenly Katrina woke up from her sleep.

"Mommy!" Wine approached Katrina and hugged her.

"Wine, you're coming, son!"

"Yes, mommy should be healthy and strong well!!"

"Yes, why not!!" katrina.

2 Weeks later.

"Mami is home now!" said Wine.

Wine and Omah lead Katrina to her room, and Katrina finally returns home from hospital. Suddenly Wine's phone rang, seen on the Om Dimas screen calling.

"Mommy, Wine pick up the phone first!" 

"Hello!"

"Wine, where are you?" 

"Wine is still in Bali, Om Dimas!!"

"Yes, you know from Melda!!"

"How's your mom doing?"

"It's getting better, Om!!"

"Om Dimas can't visit your mom!!"

"Of course you can!" when?"

"Later in the afternoon, share the address!!"

"Good, om!"

"See you later!!"

Phone call is closed, Wine immediately share the location to Om Dimas mobile phone. When Wine returned to the room, Omah stood behind Wine.

"Who called you earlier!" ask Omah.

"Om Dimas, he wants to visit mommy!"

"Oh, who's Om Dimas!!"

" He's Wine's best friend, Omah!!"

Wine went back into Katrina's room, then helped lay Katrina on her bed.

"Better mami rest first yah! Wine wants to help mbok Lastri make food for mami!!"

"Yes, thank you!!"

Wine headed for the kitchen, looking at the lastri mbok who was cooking porridge. 

"Let Wine cook porridge! mbok shopping to the market, later in the afternoon om Dimas want to come to visit mami!!"

Suddenly the spoon in the hands of mbok Lastri fell.

"What neng!" 

"Yes, Dimas is coming here! Why are you so fretful!!"

"Oh, it's okay with Wine!!"

while picking up the spoon that fell on the floor.
