Episode 5 Part 1



Mo Yeon offers Si Jin some wine, but Si Jin kisses her instead. Si Jin took the wine bottle from Mo Yeon's hand and placed it on the table. Mo Yeon turned her face away as Si Jin tried to kiss her again. Then say good night and bring a bottle of wine.





Inside the tent, Mo Yeon could not sleep. He was worried about Si Jin who could be the same fate as Si Jin's recently deceased partner. Likewise with Si Jin, he let out a loud sigh like releasing his burden.





Ye Hwa who was sleeping sensed that there were suspicious movements. He quietly picked up a gun and leaned on someone standing behind the curtain. “Drop that gun,” said someone. Ye Hwa pulled up the curtain and it turned out that the man was her husband, Daniel.

Ye Hwa was angry and flailed her husband for always going to dangerous places. Daniel held his wife's hand still holding the gun. “Here is even more dangerous. Nothing is more dangerous than a wife leaning a gun on her husband.” Said Daniel.

Ye Hwa relented and kept the gun back. He asked if Daniel was coming home with Chen Gang? Daniel's face turned sad and thought that Chen Gnag would return to his place of origin. Ye Hwa looked at the black suit that Daniel had just worn, and realized Daniel's intent that chen Gang had died. Ye Hwa fell silent and went straight to the kitchen.



Mo Yeon and his medical team visited the project to visit the solar electricity plant installation project which is a project won by Haesung Group from Germany. The Deputy Manager explained that the solar power plant is environmentally friendly. Sang Hyun said he immediately felt sentimental when he saw the signs of Korean at the door. Mo Yeon also felt amazed to see the tall tower that was being built, she seemed to want to climb up.



Someone came in and the deputy manager introduced him as the head manager. The head manager gave his business card to Mo Yoen. He said not from Haesung group and his name is mister Jin, Young Su Jin and his English name is... Ja Ae cut Young Su Jin? Making Mo Yeon and Sang Hyun laugh. Su Jin was upset and said “Richard”

Mr. Jin does not like to be equated with the deputy manager who works for this project, but he calls himself the person who manages and is responsible for this project.

Mo Yeon, Sang Hyun and Ja Ae immediately gawked away not caring about Mr. Jin who asked who the head of the medical team and professor were.



Mo Yeon received a call from Chi Hoon reporting the good and bad news. Mo Yeon picked the good news first. Chi Hoon said that the tin-loving boy was named Blackey and the bad news was that Blackey had disappeared. Mo Yeon was shocked and immediately returned to the medicube.

Mo Yeon asked Min Ji when was the last time she saw him. 



Min Ji replied at 9am while checking for IV injection and gave him food. Chi Hoon showed the picture that Blackey left to Mo Yeon and he thought Blackey was coming home. Chi Hoon volunteered to look for Blackey. Mo Yeon didn't allow it, was Chi Hoon a tarzan or what? Because we live in the forest.



Chi Hoon proposed asking Captain Yoo for help. Mo Yeon immediately rejected him. But what is being talked about has come. Mo Yeon recalled last night and waited for Si Jin. Si Jin is ordinary. He asked for a picture of Blackey. Si Jin said that Blackey was not the name of the boy but the name of the village and he knew where it was.    

Mo Yeon was upset that Chi Hoon did not know the name of the child yet. Mo Yeon wanted to hit Chi Hoon but did not because Si Jin saw him.

Chi Hoon again volunteered to look for the boy and asked Si Jin what place was that far away? Si Jin replied it would take half a day on foot.

Mo Yeon said Chi Hoon couldn't because today he was going to do a medical check-up with Sang Hyun. Mo Yeon said let him look for her.

“Self?” ask Chi Hoon.

“Can't I go alone? I'll go with him?” Then Mo Yeon asked Si Jin, “Can you help me?” Si Jin was silent for a moment, then said they were leaving in 10 minutes.



Inside the car Si Ji kept looking at Mo Yeon who was sitting beside him. Mo Yeon said to look forward worried that there would be an accident. Si Jin looked ahead and said that this road was the only way, so it was likely that they would be able to meet the boy on the road.

“Good,” sahut Mo Yeon

“What's your sleep good last night?” ask Si Jin.

“I can't even sleep.”

Si Jin wants to discuss last night's events. Still Mo Yeon did not want to. Si Jin asked why Mo Yeon was avoiding him. Mo Yeon reasoned because she was currently very confused and continued to avoid it until her mind calmed down.

Si Jin did not want Mo Yeon to think of herself as bad, because she had already thought a thousand times before doing so. Mo Yeon seemed to be slightly touched by Si Jin's words and looked at Si Jin until he arrived at the village.



Si Jin stopped his car because there was a crowd of goats and told Mo Yeon that the boy was in front of them. Mo Yeon regained her senses and looked ahead. Si Jin hid the horn and the boy turned to wave at Si Jin.



Mo Yeon wrote down the rules of using drugs with images because of language limitations. The boy's mother thanked him. Mo Yeon turned to Shi Jin asking if the mother had thanked him.

“What else? did he say ‘ out there!’?” answer Si Jin cuek. 



Then Mo Yeon looked out and knew the children who had taken the tin iron. Si Ji praised Mo Yeon's great memory. Mo Yeon assures her that her memory is indeed great.

“How great?” ask Si Jin

“One great. So you don't try to lie because I remember everything.”



Myeong Ju looked at all the good stuff in front of her and was astonished at whether the soldiers could get this great quality of equipment. Byung Soo reasoned that there were a lot of soldiers out here. So the equipment was provided from a Korean company to boost the morale of the army.

Myeong Ju thanked him, then Byung Soo asked Myeong Ju's father. Myeong Ju replied that her father was fine.

Then Byung Soo tells Myeong Ju that he has a good relationship with the Commander (Dad Myeong Ju), so he sends Myeong Ju here. Byung Soo laughed to himself. Myeong Ju heard it just came laughing strangely.

Myeong gets a call. Myeong Ju asks Byung Soo for permission and Byung Soo asks what the phone is from the Commander. Myeong Ju said that this phone is far more important than the Commander.





It turns out that the phone was from Dae Young's man named Sergeant Kim Bum Rae, who was assigned by Myeong Ju to report all Dae Young's activities to him. While reporting, Dae Young suddenly appears.



Myeong Ju wondered why Bum Rae suddenly kept silent and asked to continue her report.

“At 9:40 p.m., he looked at me.”

“Really? I envy you” said Myeong Ju jealous. “Then?’

“He walked towards me. Step by step.” Bum Rae stood up and quickly turned the note over, so as not to be read by Dae Young. He asks Dae Young what to do.

“What else? hang up.” Dae Young's orders. Across the phone, Myeong Ju smiled happily at Dae Young's voice.

“Letnan Yoon is a lieutenant. You are Sergeant major.” Said Bum Rae. That means he must be more obedient to Myeong Ju because his rank is higher than Dae Young.



Dae Young asks what Bum Rae would first do if caught by the enemy. Bum Rae replied hesitantly, giving up.



 “Do whatever the enemy tells you,” said Dae Young. Dae Young again tells Bum Rae to hang up. On the other side, Myeong Ju smiled happily, feeling satisfied enough to have heard Dae Young's voice and told her to hang up. Bum Rae salutes Myeong Ju and hangs up.

Then Bum Rae apologizes to Dae Young. Dae Young asks, does Bum Rae want to run around the field or make ramen for him. Bum Rae spontaneously chooses to cook ramen for Dae Young. Dae Young smiles and says that Bum Rae has to make his own kaldunya.

Bum Rae immediately put on a sad face and said he would take a shower first. Dae Young smiles at Bum Rae's behavior. Before leaving, Bum Rae informs him, there is a letter for Dae Young.



Si Jin did not say anything. After the servant left, he was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Mo Yeon praised Shi Jin's restaurant choices. Shi Jin said Dae Young, who often takes him to this restaurant, prefers to eat in the cafeteria, but prefers instant food.

Mo Yeon assented in an incredulous tone. Mo Yeon thanked him for helping her today, he was the one who was going to pay for her food and he wanted to ask Si Jin one question. Why did Si Jin choose to be a soldier. Mo Yeon forbade Si Jin from answering because of the uniform.

Si Jin smiled faintly and answered briefly, because one must indeed be a soldier. Si Jin realizes that Mo Yeon doesn't like her job very much. But Mo Yeon said, she just thought Si Jin was so patriotic that he wanted to risk his life for the sake of the country.

Si Jin wanted to know the patriotic meaning to Mo Yeon. “You love the country and are loyal to the country and its people,” Mo Yeon replied.

Si Jin felt the patriotic meaning to him was different to Mo Yeon. For him, the principle to protect children, beautiful women and parents, the courage to reprimand high school children who are caught smoking, and, and courage that does not waver at gunpoint is patriotism and it is also his way of preserving the honor of a soldier.

Then Si Jin asked Mo Yeon back. Had he not been a soldier, but an ordinary man from a wealthy family, would Mo Yeon also be this loud. Mo Yeon said no, she felt it was too ordinary for her. Shi Jin smiled, feeling he should have said ‘ handsome man from a rich family’.

Mo Yeon replied with a smile.



After eating, Si Jin walked out of the restaurant first and saw two men standing not far from him, talking. Si Jin recognized one of them. The man was a fake UN staff that he handed over to the local police. They also stared back at Si Jin, even the other one, offering Shi Jin a bottle of drink from a distance.



Mo Yeon came out and said that she had paid for the food. Mo Yeon was astonished to see Si Jin's gaze fixated on the others and wanted to see what Si Jin saw. But Si Jin held Mo Yeon back so as not to turn her back. While occasionally looking at the two men, Si Jin asked if Mo Yeon knew the location of the hardware store they had been to yesterday.

Mo Yeon. Si Jin told Mo Yeon to go there first and wait for her there. But Mo Yeon said, he has a task later in the afternoon. Si Jin said then Mo Yeon could go there borrow a car. He will call them later.

Mo Yeon wanted to know what was going on. Si Jin reasoned that he was going to the command headquarters to report. Mo Yeon shot what because of a yesterday problem. Si Jin said no, it was another matter. Mo Yeon understood. Si Jin ate with the two men and took Mo Yeon away.



Mo Yeon arrived at the store and was surprised to see Daniel suddenly appear. They also know each other. Mo Yeon asked if Daniel was a doctor too. “I treat people and also repair damaged goods. Sometimes I also help cows give birth.”, replied Daniel kindly.

Daniel already knew Mo Yeon was going to borrow a car, because Si Jin had already told him.



Si Jin went back to the place while preparing his gun. Both men are still there. Si Jin tiptoed towards them and directly pointed a gun at the man he had captured. The man was unafraid and distrustful of a peacekeeping soldier, pointing a gun at unarmed civilians.

 “Indeed it can't,” Si Jin said and then fired his gun at a nearby car tire. The gunshot rang out to the tool shop and Mo Yeon was shocked to hear it.



Now the two men pulled out their weapons and pointed them at Si Jin. “Not civil. And not unarmed..”, Si Jin said again. Si Jin said he knew they had connections with the local police.



Several other gunmen came out of the building behind the two men, last appearing Argus. He took the gun of one of the men earlier and pointed it behind the head of the man Shi Jin had once captured. Scolding them for repeatedly reminding him to put a gun to the back of the head.

The man with the gun dropped the gun from Si Jin and raised both hands. Argus turns to Si Jin, saying that the police always side with money. Wherever it is, whenever.

Argus returned the psitol to his men and said, “For a long time no see, Lieutenant,” Si Jin looked at the confused Argus. Argus opened his sunglasses and said, “Or maybe, Captain?”.



Shi Jin lowered his gun, “Captain... Argus?” it turns out that Argus was the leader of Si Jin.



Meanwhile Daniel talks to someone over the phone to find out what happened. That guy was saying about Argus' gang doing the brawl. Daniel told Mo yeon.

Mo Yeon wanted to know if anyone was hurt. But Daniel said they would call the doctor if anyone was hurt. Daniel offers Mo yeon tea and Mo Yeon accepts Daniel's offer.

Mo Yeon asks how Daniel got to know Si Jin. “At cemetery”, replied Daniel. In Iraq, in Afghanistan, and in Urk, they continued to meet at funerals.

Then Mo Yeon said she felt a little uneasy asking something but she would still ask Daniel, because it was probably the only chance she had. “Do you know what Captain Yoo's true duty is?” Daniel remained silent.

Flashbacks



Si Jin continued to be tortured and the hostage-taker demanded Shi Jin provide information on UN radio codes. Si Jin muttered his code in Korean and he was tortured again. The hostage-taker demanded Si Jin answer in English.

Si Jin did not comply with their wishes and continued to pronounce the code in Korean with his name and rank as a Korean special forces.

Suddenly gunfire was heard and several Korean soldiers entered, including Dae Young, there. In a short time, they paralysed the hostage-takers. As he was leaving, Si Jin told one of the soldiers that there was still one more hostage, the Delta Team captain, who was missing.

His friend said they only had 5 minutes before the building was blown up. Si Jin insists on saving the hostage and they take him to the helicopter. And it turns out that Team Delta Captain is Argus. Unfortunately, when he was about to board the helicopter, his friend was shot dead.

End Flashback



Si Jin looked at Argus, not understanding. Argus explained that he just changed his job. He reasoned that his work was now almost the same as his previous job, the difference was that he could grow his hair, shoot and make money. Si Jin can't understand what changed Argus' mind, but Argus was a legend in Team Delta.

“But being a legend doesn't make money,” says Argus again.

Argus then tells Si Jin that in this neighborhood there are many evil gangs, who are fearless, do not know the rules and honor and do not have the country they serve. Argus warned Si Jin to take care of Shi Jin's own business, and he confirmed it was his last warning.

Before leaving, Argus patted Si Jin on the shoulder, saying from the past until now, Si Jin was still too kind-hearted.

Si Jin is sick of seeing Argus, perhaps regretting saving Argus and sacrificing his friend's life.

“You are right. I should not have fought God's will. There must always be a reason behind someone's death,” Si Jin said in Korean.

Argus accuses Si Jin of hiding behind his own language. Si Jin returned to English, threatening Argus not to dare appear nearby, otherwise Argus would have to pay for what he did.



Back to Mo Yeon and Daniel. We don't know what Daniel said, but then Daniel asked if Mo Yeon had any more questions. Mo Yeon replied that there was none.

“That's enough? Enough to understand or enough to stay away from it?” ask Daniel.



Mo Yeon was driving a car loaned by Daniel. Mo Yeon daydreamed during the drive. Especially when he called Si Jin and put his phone near the steering wheel. Mo Yeon was driving in the opposite direction and almost got hit by the truck that appeared in front of her.



Mo Yeon slammed the steering wheel to the left and her gaze hit the road fence and continued to slide down the cliff.

Mo Yeon could not control her car and the new car could stop while hanging on the edge of the cliff. Mo Yeon was trembling, very panicked and crying in fear because if her car fell down, then she would go straight into the sea.



Fortunately his phone was still connected to Si Jin. Si Jin tried to talk to Mo Yeon. As Mo Yeon was about to grab her downed phone, the car moved again, making Mo Yeon grow frightened, pleading for Si Jin to help her.

Si Jin asked Mo Yeon to tell him where Mo Yeon was, what Mo Yeon saw. Mo Yeon said her car was stuck on a cliff. Si Jin immediately started his car engine and asked Mo Yeon to hold on and wait for him, he would find Mo Yeon.

As Si Jin hung up, Mo Yeon cried because Shi Jin had not hung up. Mo Yeon tried to sound her horn many times, shouting for someone to help her.

Mo Yeon recorded her voice for her mother, telling her to take her retirement and her record money. He also apologized to his mother for being rude. Then Mo Yeon also records her voice for Ji Soo, asking Ji Soo to cancel the rental contract of the building for the clinic and take back the deposit. He also leaves his greetings to Tae Won, and hopes Ji Soo and Tae Won can end up happy.



Mo Yeon cried, complaining that her life would end like that. Suddenly Si Jin got into the car from the back door, making Mo Yeon both shocked and relieved. Si Jin asked Mo Yeon to open the window beside him and after the window opened, Si Jin moved to sit forward.

Mo Yeon protested to see Si Jin move forward as it made the car further indented down. Si Jin resuscitated Mo Yeon backwards. Si Jin tells Mo Yeon, if the rocks can't hold them any longer and he will drop his car.

Mo Yeon clearly protested, completely disagreeing with Si Jin's plan. Si Jin held onto Mo Yeon's shoulder, convinced Mo Yeon to believe him and simply closed her eyes. “I'll save you,” Si Jin's promise.

Mo Yeon still did not want to. Si Jin told Mo Yeon to take her foot off the brake, Mo Yeon still refused. Unwilling to listen to Mo Yeon's protests again, Si Jin directly hit the airbag part, leaving Mo Yeon shocked and her legs detached from the brake pedal. The car plunged freely into the ravine and fell into the water.
