Episode 1 Part 1

soldiers who were ready with unsheathed weapons, walked in a place overgrown with tall grass. They are at a point about 680m south of the demilitarist line.

Elsewhere, perhaps at a command headquarters, several top military and civilian officials were discussing about 3 North Korean soldiers who crossed the demilitarized line at 1am and attacked a South Korean guard post and took 2 South Korean soldiers hostage.

They talked about the best response they could have without provoking war but still being able to save hostages. One of the soldiers, possibly the general, informed him that he had sent Special Forces, Team Alpha.

And it turns out that on the field, Alpha Team has indeed been sent, following other teams that have been sent before. Looks like the Alpha team members are only 3 people. The first team was on standby in front of a guard post that was already controlled by 3 North Korean soldiers and one of the team members had just finished installing a bomb in one corner of the post and pulled a cable from detonator.

The first team was suspicious of the alpha team's identity, but Yoo Shi Jin introduced himself as the alpha team commander and informed him that from then on his team would take over the operation.

Shi Jin and Seo Dae Young released all their combat equipment including their weapons, leaving the other team members astonished. But Shi Jin said they were in a demilitarized area so all they had to do was talk.

Then slowly Shi Jin and Dae Young walked up to the guard post while raising both of their hands. Shi Jin and Dae Young stopped for a moment, chanting who he was and telling them to end the hostage situation and promising to send them back home safely.

There was no response from inside the post and Dae Young thought this would not be easy and invited Shi Jin in.

Shi Jin reported by radio to the command headquarters, informing him that 'Bis Boss' was about to enter. In that operation Shi Jin named himself 'Big Boss', and there were also several other nicknames called like 'Picolo' and 'Harry Potter'.

As Shi Jin began to approach the post door, a South Korean sniper reported that he was already in position and had gotten good visuals.

The soldier who put the explosives back into position, joined his team and reported that he had finished pairing the explosive devices. A member of Shi Jin's team was shocked, as it turned out that the first team had already fitted an explosive device, he was worried about Shi Jin and Dae Young's circumstances.

The commander of the first team said they would use the explosives only if the negotiations Shi Jin conducted failed.

Shi Jin and Dae Young had already arrived at the post door and again persuaded the North Korean army to end their hostage-taking and immediately return to their country as things would get more difficult if the day got more and more difficult brightest.

The postal door opens. Shi Jin and Dae Young were ordered in by them at gunpoint.

They attack each other. As Shi Jin was busy confronting the three soldiers, Dae Young attempted to untie the bonds of their two soldiers being held hostage. One of the North Korean soldiers attacked Dae Young and fortunately Shi Jin managed to hold her back.

Dae Young manages to untie the hostages and rejoins the fight. He pushed one of the North Korean soldiers into the alarm button. Either Dae Young intentionally did it to keep the post door open so they could get out or accidentally did it.

As the alarm went off, the red light flashed, making the soldiers waiting outside even more apada.

Now inside the post are only Shi Jin and Jung Joon. Shi Jin tried hard to pull Jung Joon out of the post. And while outside, Jung Joon managed to injure Shi Jin's waist while Shi Jin managed to put his knife on Jung Joon's neck.

Jung Joon mocked, saying that Shi Jin would not dare to kill him because Shi Jin's country cares too much about the opinions of other countries, and it is different from his country.

One of the other North Korean soldiers pointed his gun at Shi Jin's head, making Dae Young wary.

"We've been 70 years apart and you're still misunderstanding. We are always ready to strike first if it is for the sake of peace" Shi Jin said. A red spot of a South Korean sniper appeared on the head of the North Korean soldier who was pointing his weapon at Shi Jin.

Shi Jin warns Jung Joon not to make any other mistakes as he will not attack them if they retreat. Feeling cornered and having no other choice, Jung Joon was forced to give up and take his men away.

After Jung Joon and his men left, Shi Jin again contacted the command headquarters and reported that the operation carried out by Team Alpha was complete...

Shi Jin and Dae Young played in the shooting arena and their scores were extremely low. Shi Jin and Dae Young were astonished and thought maybe the toy weapon they were wearing was crooked or had not been stitched properly.

Shi Jin tries to cock the weapon many times, making the toy arena guard, Kwang Soo (real Kwang Soo) angry, afraid that the weapon is broken. Kwang Soo tells Shi Jin and Dae Young that his weapon is a weapon commonly used by U. S. Delta forces in the Desert War and is very different from the weapons used in the military.

Shi Jin and Dae Young looked at each other and just laughed.

They saw a man running out of a store and stealing a motor belonging to a merchant deliveryman who happened to be parked in front of the store. Dae Young said their toy guns only had a short effective range, about 5 meters.

Shi Jin replied, if the position of the thief is approximately 10 meters from them.

They're starting to count down, 10... 7.. , until some time after the count of five, they fired the contents of the toy gun and hit the thief's forehead. The thief fell off his motorbike and on his forehead was a bloodstain. Coupons flew out of the bag the thief had stolen.

The owner of the bike, an ahjussi, took back the bike and his bag. Dae Young asks if he won't call the police. Ahjussi did not bother to deal with the police just because the coupons were worthless and he did not want to take care of the thief who had been injured.

After getting back the motorbike and the coupon bag, the ahjussi quickly left. Dae Young was forced to call an ambulance and reported that a patient had been injured in a motorcycle accident.

Meanwhile, Shi Jin was busy giving first aid to the thief who seemed to have broken some parts of his body. Some people recorded Shi Jin's actions. The thief protested, saying he was fine.

Shi Jin did not care and snapped at the thief's head, telling him to shut up because otherwise his spine also broke. The thief screamed in pain while holding onto his forehead which seemed to be getting sicker. Hiz...

Shi Jin took the rope from the thief's pocket and again the thief protested.

Shi Jin only said that it was for the good of the people. And Shi Jin asked Kwang Soo to sell two teddy bears in his shop. Kwang Soo says the doll is not for sale.

Shi Jin knows that but he wants Kwang Soo to sell him, he promises to win the entire game in his Kwang Soo playground.

Inevitably, Kwang Soo is forced to comply with Shi Jin's wishes. Then Shi Jin also asked to lend a marker to Kwang Soo.

Shi Jin and Dae Young were sitting inside a cafe. The two women who were about to walk out of the cafe, whispered and laughed while occasionally looking towards Shi Jin and Dae Young. It seemed like they were laughing at Shi Jin and Dae Young, who each had a puppet beside them.

Shi Jin praised Dae Young's beautiful girlfriend. Dae Young stroked her doll's ear and said that the doll was her ideal type of woman. Then he also praised Shi Jin's beautiful girlfriend.

Shi Jin said it was his comrade-in-arms. Shi Jin did not think through, it could be that Dae Young accepted the doll. Dae Young said he had no other choice because Kwang Soo forced him to take it and forbade him from going back there.

"It was me who commanded them", Dae Young cut off, his face turning ordinary again, even seeming arrogant. Shi Jin commented on Dae Young's expression that resembled the main character of a film noir and made others into evil characters.

Then suddenly Shi Jin's phone shook and Shi Jin took his phone. "From the battalion?", asked Dae Young.

"Yes", Shi Jin replied and then showed Dae Young who called him. "But from another battalion", Shi Jin continued.

Dae Young forbade Shi Jin from receiving the call. But Shi Jin instead teased Dae Young, saying that he would take the call and even have the woman come to the cafe right away. He told Dae Young to be more manly by meeting the woman and saying break up.

Dae Young persuades Shi Jin by promising to buy him a steak for dinner. But Shi Jin said he had enough money to buy a steak.

Dae Young refused, saying he would give 17-year-old whiskey, but Shi Jin refused, saying it was cheap.

Dae Young promises to make a blind date with his cousin from the air force. Shi Jin was interested in hearing that. Dae Young added that her cousin was a flight attendant and had many friends.

Shi Jin agrees and gives Dae Young his phone while asking Dae Young to give Dae Young's phone to her. Dae Young directs the phone call on Shi Jin's phone and reaches into his jacket pocket to retrieve his phone.

Dae Young did not find his phone and reached into all the pockets in his jacket. Shi Jin could not believe it, the thief managed to grab Dae Young's phone.

As Shi Jin coolly wrote something on the thief's arm, Dae Young was busy checking whether the thief's leg was injured or not. It was then that the thief secretly reached into Dae Young's jacket pocket and grabbed Dae Young's phone.

Dae Young seemed to have felt that someone had reached into his jacket pocket, had turned his head, looked at the thief sharply. But the thief quickly closed his eyes and hid his hands behind his body.

At the same time, ambulance officers came and inquired about the reported motor accident.

As Dae Young spoke to the ambulance attendant, the thief quietly stuffed Dae Young's phone into her pants pocket.

Dae Young is very upset and vows to kill the thief. Shi Jin laughed, "Didn't you feel sorry for her?'.

Dae Young did not respond to Shi Jin's teasing and hurriedly left, following the thief to the hospital.

Ambulances arrived at Haesang hospital, two nurses, a young nurse named Choi Min Ji and a jutek-faced nurse named Ha Ja Ae, welcomed her arrival in front of the IGD entrance.

When taken down from the ambulance the thief felt that the officers were rather rude and begged to be treated more gently. Without anyone knowing, a cell phone fell out of the thief's pocket. That phone is Dae Young's phone. Min Ji smiled as he saw two teddy bears strapped to the thief's head.

The thief again protested, asking that the doll be let go. But no one is poking at him.

As the thief was about to be taken into the IGD, the ambulance called Min Ji and gave Min Ji the cell phone he found.

It just so happened that Dae Young's phone vibrated again because there was an incoming call. Min Ji saw the call from Yoon Myeong Ju. Min Ji picked her up and told her that she was a nurse at Haesung hospital in the IGD section. He told me that the owner of the phone had a motorcycle accident.

Min Ji wanted to know if the woman who called was the patient's family, but the phone was closed.

Kang Mo Yeon, a doctor at the IGD came to see the thief, and read the inscription on the thief's arm. Shi Jin wrote 'Possibly suffered a rib fracture and ankle sprain'.

Mo Yeon chuckled and praised the first aid that was done quite neatly and well. He asked who had given the thief first aid. The thief said the one who caused him harm was the one who helped him.

Mo Yeon examined the thief's ribs and legs by touching the thief's ribs and legs and at once the thief was in pain. "Are you a thief?", asked Mo Yeon.

The thief was shocked. Mo Yeon showed another inscription on the thief's arm, saying that he was a thief and that he could be given the most painful treatment.

The thief denied. Mo Yeon did not discuss any more and told the thief to contact the insurance company to claim the hospital fee as they also had to do an x-ray.

The thief did not have time to answer, Min Ji approached Mo Yeon and told her that the Chief was looking for Mo Yeon. Before leaving, Mo Yeon told Min Ji to call her that the X-ray had come out.

Min Ji gave Dae Young's phone back to the thief and told him he had received a phone call. He told the thief to wait there because it took a long time to prepare the X-ray. And then Min Ji left.

The thief took back Dae Young's phone and put it in his pants pocket. Before long he gets a call from someone who might be his gangmate. He told her of her not-so-good condition and told her friend to bring her a motorbike to pick her up.

The thief opened the wood that was holding his ankle and rolled to the side, making him fall off the bed. Hiz... Withstanding the pain, he quietly left the IGD room.

Mo Yeon was talking to the Chairman in the corridor of the hospital. They talked about Mo Yeon's help in the Chairman's thesis and the Chairman hoped that the material could help Mo Yeon's study. The chairman also inquired about the academic position interview and Mo Yeon said he was preparing it.

Mo Yeon became incoherent talking to the Chairman because she suddenly saw the thief, her patient, walking outside the hospital limping. Mo Yeon asked the Chairman for permission on the grounds that his patient had run away and then ran after the patient.

Ja Ae called Min Ji, asking for the thief's whereabouts. Min Ji was obviously shocked because he had just seen the thief still sleeping on the bed.

There was soon the voice of the thief and Mo Yeon. The thief continued to complain that he had to leave, because otherwise he could cause chaos in the hospital. He also did not want to stay because if he was caught, he would not end up in the IGD but in the morgue. "What right do you have to keep me here? Is it not up to me to be treated or not?", the thief protested again.

Mo Yeon said it was indeed not her right but it was her duty. The thief kept stubbornly wanting to go and quarrel with Ja Ae and also Mo Yeon. As he was about to leave, Mo Yeon restrained the thief, saying that the bed was in the other direction.

But annoyed, the thief said he wanted to go to the toilet. "You don't trust me? Here, hold my phone" said the thief, giving Mo Yeon his handphone.

Mo Yeon relented and let the thief into the toilet.

Before long, the phone Mo Yeon was holding rang, from 'Big Boss'. The phone Mo Yeon was holding was not the thief's phone, but Dae Young's.

Upon seeing the name 'Big Boss', Mo Yeon immediately misunderstood and complained that such people should join the military to think of adulthood. Mo Yeon kept the phone in her doctor's suit pocket and did not answer the call.

Meanwhile, Shi Jin and Dae Young had already arrived in front of the IGD. Shi Jin, who was trying to reach Dae Young's phone, tells Dae Young that the phone is not picked up.

Instead of paying attention to what Shi Jin said, Dae Young's attention turned instead to a group of gangsters who were walking towards the Funeral Hall parking lot. Dae Young is suspicious of their moves.

Shi Jin calls Dae Young, telling her that the IGD is not going there. And Shi Jin took Dae Young in.

Shortly after they entered, the thief appeared from the other direction and called his friend, informing him that he was outside the hospital. And it seemed that his friend had also arrived around the hospital.

Shi Jin walked into the IGD room while continuously trying to contact Dae Young's phone. He heard the sound of another cell phone and walked closer to the sound of the phone and arrived behind Mo Yeon who was sewing the wound of a rather old patient.

Shi Jin tried contacting Dae Young's phone again to ascertain whether it was Dae Young's phone or not. And fortunately, this time Mo Yeon was willing to pick him up, "Hello?".

Shi Jin approached Mo Yeon and replied Mo Yeon's greeting, "Hello?". Mo Yeon was startled as she looked at Shi Jin and looked at the phone screen, it said 'Big Boss'.

Mo Yeon suddenly realized that her motorcycle accident patient had disappeared again, she did not see the thief in bed. Mi Jin said that maybe Mo Yeon's patient was undergoing an X-ray examination.

Yet Mo Yeon thought differently. Mo Yeon looked towards Shi Jin again and thought that Shii Jin was the one who would send her patients to the morgue. Shi Jin tried to explain that Mo Yeon was wrong but Mo Yeon was already unwilling to listen anymore. He ordered Min Ji to expel Shi Jin and Dae Young out and called security so that they would not cause chaos in the hospital.

Min Ji pushed Shi Jin and Dae Young some distance away from Mo Yeon and then closed the curtain of the patient's slap that Mo Yeon was handling.

As the curtain closed, Shi Jin and Mo Yeon stared at each other...

Dae Young thinks the thief must have run away. He invites Shi Jin to look for the thief because he believes the thief must not be far away. Shi Jin agrees with Dae Young but he tells Dae Young to go find her herself.

Shi Jin stared at the curtains with a happy smile. Dae Young realized there was something else Shi Jin was thinking about. Then Shi Jin acted, holding his left side of his stomach while complaining about his aching stomach and a sore appendix.

Dae Young said the side held by Shi Jin was wrong, because of the appendix on the right. Shi Jin laughed, caught lying and forced to go after Dae Young.

Shi Jin wanted to know where Dae Young planned to go looking for the thief. "I have a feeling, I saw a group of alleys...". Dae Young's words were cut off when he saw the thief was being beaten by the alley he saw earlier.

Shi Jin prevented Dae Young from going there, asking if the contents of the phone were of such importance to Dae Young. Does your phone contain files that no one else should see?, teased Shi Jin.

Dae Young agrees and Shi Jin praises Dae Young, who is a real man. Shi Jin was extremely excited and instead advanced first, 'greeting' at the gangster. Dae Young approached and stood in front of the thief, saying he had unfinished business with the thief.

"Then you have to wait your turn" said one of the gangsters.

The thief holds Dae Young's leg, begging Dae Young to help him. Shi Jin snorted sarcastically, "Hey! Did you steal their phones, too?".

Dae Young approaches the thief and asks why they hit him. The thief did not reply, only asking Dae Young to help him and promising to return Dae Young's phone.

Shi Jin again snorted cynically, he felt their agreement was unfair because of the opponent he and Dae Young had to face more of.

Then the thief's friend chimed in, telling him that his friend Gi Beom was not allowed out of the alley and that if they wanted to get out, they would have to pay 5000 dollars.

Shi Jin was startled to hear it and asked Dae Young, what inside the alley was like. Dae Young did not reply, and only commented on the price to be paid getting higher lately.

"Oh, you're also a gangster? Since he has nothing, how about we both just finish it here?", challenge one of the gang members to Dae Young.

Dae Young accepts their challenge and agrees to also give them the money. Dae Young took his wallet and challenged the gangster, anyone who could snatch the wallet from him, then they could get the contents as well.

"really? You're serious?", asked one of the gangsters, happy to get the prey. Shi Jin also asked Dae Young's seriousness.

Dae Young said he was serious, and asked Shi Jin not to interfere.

Shi Jin understood and retreated.

Dae Young asked the thief's name again. "Kim Gi Beom" replied the thief. And Dae Young told all the gangsters that from today he is Kim Gi Beom's older brother. Dae Young promised, he'll pay Gi Beom's money out.

Two gangsters came forward and pulled out their knives. "You die when the purse is empty" threatened one of them. They also attacked Dae Young.

It was so easy for Dae Young to defeat them, even just hitting their heads with her wallet alone, they had already fallen in pain.

Shi Jin picked up the dropped knife on the asphalt and threw it away recklessly. He felt the gangsters were pretentious, carrying knives everywhere but lousy. He can't let the gangster and invites Dae Young to finish them all off.

All the gangsters took out their knives and moved forward approaching Shi Jin and Dae Young...

Min Ji informs Mo Yeon that the motorcycle accident patient is running away again. Mo Yeon was very upset. Mi Jin said there were people looking for the patient.

As Mo Yeon asked who, Min Jin pointed towards a woman dressed in army attire who turned her back to them.

"Yoon Myeong Joo?", Mo Yeon asked somewhat in shock.

"Kang Mo Yeon?", said Myeong Joo, also somewhat shocked.

They seem to know each other. Mo Yeon asked if Myeong Joo was a family member of her patient. Myeong Jo asks Mo Yeon who is responsible for the patient. Without answering Mo Yeon's question, Myeong Joo asked Mo Yeon to show the patient's medical records.

Mo Yeon refused, as the hospital was not Myeong Joo hospital and the patient was not Myeong Joo's patient either. "Funny huh? We are always in touch with the same man", Mo Yeon said.

"I don't want to joke with you, just give me the medical records. He's an important person to me", insisted Myeong Joo impatiently. Mo Yeon was a bit shocked to hear that. But Myoeng Joo felt no need to explain to Mo Yeon. He asked for the patient's injuries and blamed Mo Yeon for being irresponsible and making the patient run away.

Mo Yeon just smiled. He also did not know why the patient had run away and had not even paid hospital fees. Because Myeong Joo knew the patient, he asked Myeong Joo to pay the hospital fee.

Then Mo Yeon told Min Jin to ask security to check the male toilet. "If he's not there, this guy's gonna pay his hospital fee...".

Mo Yeon doesn't like Ji Soo mentioning Myeong Joo is beautiful, according to her Myeong Joo is pretty for wearing makeup. "She's still beautiful without makeup" Ji Soo said again. Myeong Joo could not protest anymore and only said that Myeong Joo also did not date the man.

Mo Yeon did not understand Ji Soo's intentions. Ji Soo explains that it is a rank in the military, such as sergeant, staff sergeant, or first sergeant. And he heard that Myeong Jo's boyfriend had already taken the qualification exam. Dan Myeong Joo is an officer at the military academy and also a surgeon, plus Myeong Joo's father is a three-star general. So because of that background, they are called a controversial couple, said Ji Soo again.

"really? So who is the one who left her phone to me huh?", Mo Yeon asked, as to herself.
