The Dandelion Motel

The Dandelion Motel
1 Month passed

Leon takes Rosaline by the hand to board a cruise ship.

The woman's smile flashed as her eyes were pampered with a beautiful sight as the ship began to sail.

One thing he only realized a few minutes after being satisfied to see the beauty of the night on the cruise.

"Since I haven't seen the other passengers, have you....? You didn't rent this boat personally, did you?"

Leon scratched his non-itchy nape. " Rosaline, have you forgotten it's been 1 month since we started dating?"

"I want to end it." continued the man.

The woman pecked, her heart beating faster when Leon mentioned the word 'end'. His mind wandered thinking that the man indeed only wanted to play around with him.

"I don't want to date anymore."

Leon suddenly knelt before him and took out something from his suit pocket. A small red box with a beautiful ring inside.

"I want to be your husband. Rosaline, marry me."

Rosaline shed her tears, never expecting that the man would actually propose to her.

"Do you want to accept the wedge****n like I'm your husband?" tanyanya returned expectantly waiting for an answer from her lover.

"Son, do you really know what marriage means?" rosaline snorted in between her cries.

Leon stood back up from his kneeling position "We won't know before we try." replied the man.

"tryed it? Is marriage just for trial material?" grunt again.

"I mean, we have to do it and then we'll know what it means." Leon began to misbehave, he did not expect his proposal would get such a response from Rosaline.

"Do you know when you decide to get married it means that you can only eat one kind of food for the rest of your life? All this time you've been living your life freely, won't you get bored?" clearly Rosaline.

"I proposed to you but you scared me?" said Leon.

"Are you scared? Look nothing you've been scared of. What if you run away?"

"Then pull me back." replied the man.

"So you've been planning to run away?" ask the woman again with tears flowing.

"Rosaline listen to me! You're the only woman I want." Leon grabs both of his lovers shoulders trying to calm him down.

"I know you're having doubts. But I really want to marry you. We never know what will happen in the future, we can only try to do our best. And before I promise you I promised myself I'd always look after you and love you my whole life." Leon said with a truly sincere look while wiping away tears on her cheeks.

"So are you going to accept me or not?" ask Leon again.

"Let me answer, do I need to kneel again like that?" the man was about to kneel but Rosaline's hand prevented him.

"Let's put the ring on before I change my mind" said Rosaline, thrusting her beautiful fingers at Leon.

"Does that mean you accepted my proposal?" Leon ensured.

"Yes, I accept it." replied Rosaline steadily with a smile that was stretched out on her lips.

"Thank you, Rosaline. I promise I will always try to make you happy for the rest of my life." whispered the man then hugged his woman very tightly.

That night the two of them were completely swept away in happiness. It was as if all the impurities in their lives had evaporated just like that.

I don't know how long Leon has sat at his desk staring at his phone screen in doubt before he felt sure to call someone.

The man felt a little nervous waiting until his phone call was connected. His eyes lit up as someone across the street began to answer.

"Hallo, Leon my son." There's happiness in his tone.

"Mom, I have something to tell you to mom and dad" Leon said.

"Yes, say." enthusiastically

"Let's meet at home this weekend" Leon said.

"Well, I'll be waiting for you."

Leon ended his phone call. His heart is still beating fast. After a long time he finally spoke again with the mother who raised him. Suddenly the man felt he had disobeyed and sinned against him.

Her tears fell, The longing came back after all this time she painstakingly endured.

In the middle of his cries Bobby walked into his room without cueing.

"Aishhhh, get used to knocking on the door before entering!" the man grumbled, annoyed and embarrassed because he was caught crying.

"Well, you can cry as well" said Bobby scoffed.

"Yakk.if nothing matters come out! You're so annoying." snorted Leon.

"If you want to cry, don't be shy. Who says men can't cry? What men are not human, we must also cry at times for me...."

"Aishhhh, stop blabbering. I'm not crying, you idiot! I'm just flickering." elak Leon.

"Are you sure? Looks like you did cry." asked Bobby with a scrutinizing look.

"Yakkk, get out now or I'll throw you!" Leon did not accept being ridiculed.

Then Bobby came out giggling.
