Give Me a Chance

Leon returned to his room with a face of regret.

"You're back?" said the woman as she stepped towards him.

"Go away" said the man.

"Looks like that lady pissed you off, I'll cheer you up." seductively trying to put both her hands around Leon's neck.

"I said go!" his screams were full of anger. The woman left with an annoyed face.

Bobby just arrived at the office for representing Leon to meet one of the clients. He heard some employees in the office were gossiping about the incident they had just witnessed. The man immediately approached his best friend in his room.

"What's wrong with you, man? From the first day we came to this town you were weird, it wasn't like you used to be" Bobby said. "You were never this sorry just because of women." he said again.

"Do I look weird?" ask Leon.

"Yes, it's so weird that it gives me goosebumps" replied his best friend.

"Bobby, I don't understand one thing. He said that he's the son of an inmate, did we miss important information about him?"

"Oh that,..." Bobby thinks for a moment he's hesitating what he should tell his best friend Leon.

"Do you know and you didn't tell me?" his emotions started to rise again.

"I intend to tell you when I give you the land ownership documents. You remember, that day your mood was bad because of that woman? So I paused my intention for not wanting to ruin it again." Bobby explained.

"Try now you tell me all the things about that family, lest anyone miss a bit or I'll kill you if you're still hiding something!" threaten Leon

Finally Bobby told all he heard about Rosaline and her family to his best friend. The man only heard it without commenting.

Now Leon knows why Rosaline lives like that, it's a defense from a Rosaline to survive for her family. Not at all like the woman he has always dated all this time, the woman who wants to do anything for pleasure or money. There was regret on the man's face, a feeling he had never felt before towards the women he had dated before.

It's been about 1 week Leon has not come to the motel or to his house, even he did not send a message to him. Actually this is a freedom for him, his days back to normal without interference Leon and his bodyguards.

But his heart was a little agitated, were the words that were spoken that day to him too cruel?

That afternoon Bobby came to Rosaline at her motel with a disheveled face and disheveled hair.

"What's wrong with you?" ask Rosaline.

"Ahhhhh... Miss, I'm so tired. Leon had a lot of heart for me. He made me work 3x more than usual." Bobby said.

"It has been more than 1 week Leon did not come to the office, nothing is smooth without him. There was a lot of chaos in some branch offices and only he could solve it, he was now sick and unwilling to go to the doctor. Aishh.

"But miss, she's very strange. Not as usual. He had never left the office in a long time. I think you should take a look at it." Bobby suggested.

"I?" Rosaline pretended not to understand.

"Please Miss, 1x this." she asked with a glass.

Rosaline fell silent, she felt guilty. Is it because he's Leon to be like that? Or it's just a trap for him to go see her.

Rosaline is now in front of Leon's apartment, the woman is still not pressing the bell. His heart and mind were still doubtful, but rethinking Bobby's words seemed like the man wasn't lying. From his tone he looks very honest.

Finally he pressed the bell, it did not take long until Leon opened the door with his pale face.

"Sir, why don't you go to the hospital?" ask the woman a little softly.

However Leon passed, he did not heed Rosaline's question.

"Go, you must get treatment" the woman said as she continued to follow.

Rosaline placed the porridge she had bought on the way to the apartment on the table. Again the man passed by without regard to him.

"Yakk...Leon!!" it snapped with emotions that could no longer be held back.

"Are you deaf? Base a****k! How dare you ignore me!" overflow again.

The man stopped his steps and walked back towards Rosaline with a sharp look. Not to be outdone, the woman looked at him sharply while crossing her arms over her chest.

The two of them are now facing. Seeing Leon who kept looking at her as if being intimidating made Rosaline's sharp gaze fade away, the woman was a little nervous.

Finally Leon pounded Rosaline, the woman just stared at him without a fight.

He could feel the temperature of the man. The temperature is really hot, which means Bobby did not lie, Leon was sick.

Leon takes Rosaline to the room and places her on the edge of the bed. Now the two eyes are clashing. Leon brought his face closer bit by bit towards Rosaline's face, instead the woman rewinded her face and continued to avoid it.

But now Rosaline's hands seemed unable to support her body which was already in a half-lying position. Their eyes still continued to clash, the passionate gazes of the two were already completely unable to be hidden anymore.

But Leon's efforts to reach the woman's lips stopped, "Give me one more chance" he said in a sad tone.

"Please help me get out of my dark world." with a look of contrition and regret.

"I love you, Rosaline. This time I'm not lying, I mean it."
