The Contracts

The Contracts
What Game Is This?

“So, how is my idea?” the same

Next to Gabriel's eyebrows raised, a sign that he did not understand the meaning of his friend's words.

Matthew Alexander or more familiarly called Matt was sniffing. He put down his spoon, highlighting fully at the figure sitting before him. “Aish, free I talk at length, lo-nya not horrin. Look what's up, anyway?”

Matt followed Gabriel's line of sight. “Lo know?” From his position, he could see two women fighting.

“No,” Reply Gabriel.

“She was the waiter earlier, ‘kan? Uh, where are you going, tuh, really tense like.”

Gabriel ignored Matt's babbling. Her net continued to follow the girl's movements, until her tiny body disappeared into the door. She why?

Matt flicked his finger, taking Gabriel's attention to focus on him. “Ck, I've been lazy to talk about work. We change topic now.”

“Hm.” Gabriel replied without interest. The food was gone and he wanted to go back to the office. However, it seems Matt wants to buy time.

“Lo know?”

All right, the opening sentence of the ghibah session begins.

“Ngak,” reply Gabriel cuek.

Matt hissing gnash. “Eatya, I want to tell you. Kierra back.”

One fact was that it stopped Gabriel's movement. The hand that was playing the tissue clenched tightly. “Terus?”

Matt watched Gabriel's expression. His best friend had always shown a flat look, but he could see the uneasiness radiating in his dark eyes. “The most beautiful former lo it wants to go back, while lo still gini-gini aja. Find sono's girlfriend!”

“His relationship?”

“Hih, if not a friend, I already threw it into the crocodile nest.”

“Oh, meet sodara lo.”

Matt leaned against the chair. “Ck, it's hard to say the same wall walk like lo... Suspicious me, lest you have not moved on. Hence, until now you are still single. I am not lo!” Matt held up his index finger.

Gabriel brushed aside Matt's index plan. “Not to speculate.”

“Nah, ‘kan, lo haven't moved on.”

“Ngak.”

Matt smiled triumphantly. “Buktin, dong! Don't be confused with the ex. He said Kierra just broke up from her boyfriend in London. Lah, lo what? Since Kierra's breakup, never dated again. If it's not gamon,

what's name?”

Gabriel throws a wad of tissue at Matt, not liking the man's words. Their relationship has run aground since the third grade High School. Never met after graduation, certainly changed Gabriel's thoughts and feelings. Seven years is not a minute, is it?

Gabriel Pranata Zai, that's how people know him. He is the eldest son of Mr. Pranata Abimana, owner of Galaxion Corp which is engaged in literacy. Galaxion is the largest book publishing company and has branches throughout the city.

Back in the office, Gabriel was instantly preoccupied by the sheets of paper piling up on his desk. As such

most of the company's subsidiaries, Gabriel also works to help the Papa. Instead of being a director or CEO in place of his Papa, Gabriel chose to be the editor-in-chief who governs everything related to books.

Tock-a-tock

Without taking his eyes off the paper before him, Gabriel exclaimed, “Log in!”

Matt poked his head before approaching Gabriel. “Work teros, pantes jomlo,” cibirnya while sitting himself in the chair.

Gabriel simply glanced at Matt, receiving the file the man had brought. “Lo don't have glass?”

Matt grinning. Status can be single, but the phone is never quiet. Not ngenes-ngenes very much, the excitement of the archipelago.

“Lo not to forget, ‘kan, next week, Skylark not to reunite? Lo mandatory dateng,” said Matt.

Skylark High School, the school where they went through adolescence is still unstable.

“Hust?” As usual, a brief response with a casual tone of Gabriel's mainstay.

“Should! This time, Kierra came too. Lo do not want, ‘kan, labeled as former failed to move on.”

Matt persuades Gabriel to attend a reunion once a year. Since graduating from college, Gabriel has never attended a reunion event under the pretext of a job. Kierra's return from London after many years was not spared as an excuse. Matt understands the character of his best friend who does not like to be underestimated, and he

sure, by adding a little spark, the man would not reject her again.

Gabriel was stunned, his mind began to flinch. “Lo get information from where?”

Matt smiled broadly, patting his chest arrogantly. “Is. My informants are scattered everywhere.”

“Not far from the girl for sure,” guess Gabriel.

Matt laughed a little. “Lo must come anyway.”

“Hm.”

Matt cheered inwardly, the stove dipped him successfully. “If you can, anyway, take it with you guys, let the hotter the ex. Who knows, Kierra still likes lo.”

Gabriel shook his head slowly. “Ngaco.”

“Who knows? Just anticipation. Don't let yourself catch old stories. Not me. As if mutusin in public, yunya ngajak. Stale one! Whatever, you want to pick up where that chick is.”

“Yes, that's not what it means, Bangsul,” rebut Matt. As a lover of women, he does not want the most perfect creature of God to be equated with garbage. So perfect, Matt never gave certainty to women close to him. Not exemplary.

“If you still don't want to build commitment, find a girl who wants to help you. As long as there is money, everything can be discussed,” continued Matt.

“Gue does not want to benefit others for personal matters,” reject Gabriel.

“Who are you benefiting, anyway? Consider cooperation between both parties. I think you've met that client. There is no element of utilizing here because it is equally profitable.”

Encouraged by the friend's perverted incitement, Gabriel is stranded in front of a woman who has attracted his attention since their meeting in the cafe. When Matt proposes the ridiculous idea, Gabriel's mind goes straight to the woman. Whether by chance or fate, on the way home from work, Gabriel accidentally saw the woman sitting in the garden of the road, no matter the heavy rain flushed her body. Without a second thought, Gabriel walked up to the woman and made a request that sounded strange to the person who had just met.

“Gue does not like pleasantries. You want to be my girlfriend?”

“HAH?!”

Gaby's shout drew the attention of the road users. Gabriel sighed softly. The woman's reaction was overrated.

“Dih, who are you dating?” gaby asked after coming to his senses from his shock. The stranger said that Gaby was strange, but the man was much stranger.

It was still raining, though not as hard as it was a while ago. Gabriel moved his umbrella to Gaby. “Hold!”

Gaby according. He stood up so that the man would not be showered because of his sitting position. The difference between the two is very unfriendly. Gaby had to raise her hand to adjust to the height of the titan.

Gabriel took off his denim jacket, leaving a plain black shirt wrapped around his athletic body. Without saying anything, Gabriel draped his jacket over Gaby's shoulder, then grabbed her umbrella again. “Pake the real.”

Again Gaby said. “Lo sensitized too. Know that I am cold. No need to code first.”

“Gue is not morse.”

“Dih, joking lo?” Gaby chuckles softly. “Lanjutin, little more funny.”

Gabriel did not say. He was more interested to see Gaby wearing her oversized jacket on the tiny body.

“Ih, lo kayak giant. Lo jacket, very big on my body, but anget.” Gaby smiled, stretching out her hands that were sunk in that oversized jacket. “Thanks.”

“Hm. About being my girlfriend, I'm serious. Consider me again nawarin lo job. Lo ... newly fired, ‘kan?” Gabriel's voice grew louder at the end of the sentence, afraid that the woman might be offended.

Gaby frowned confused. “Since when was a girlfriend was a job?”

“Since I met lo.”

Gaby laughed at the silly answer. “Lo if you want to mess around, do not be the same me.”

Gabriel growled softly. “Gue has never been this serious.”

Gaby crossed her arms, slightly looking up to notice Gabriel's face more clearly. Ganteng, anyway, do not be shy if a girlfriend is.

“If you accept this offer, I will follow whatever you want,” bargain Gabriel.

“What?” Gaby started to get excited at the offer.

Gabriel nodded confidently. “Money is not a problem for me.”

“Woah, sultan, mah, different by the way.” Gaby nodded in understanding, the man before her is not a random person.

“Gue will make the contract later, so you can demand that I deny,” continued Gabriel.

“Oh, contract girlfriend means?”

“No, lo my girlfriend.”

“Iya, by contract, ‘kan?”

“Yes, but you're my girlfriend. Real girlfriend.”

Anxious, Gaby cupped Gabriel's cheek. “Iya, girlfriend on top of contract.”

Gabriel blinked a few times, feeling unfamiliar getting skinship from women other than his family. It has not been close to the opposite sex for a long time since its gray-white relationship ran aground. “Iya already, it's up to you nganggepya how.”

Gaby needs time to think. He glanced at Gabriel briefly. According to his vision, the foreign man was not a bad person. There's no harm in trying, he can't possibly drift along the way. Well, just think of it as God's good destiny.

“Oke, I received.” Gaby snorted softly. The man's expression was triplex. He should have been happy that Gaby was willing to take the job.

“Good. You have to accept me.”

“Lah?”

Although faint, from this close distance, Gaby could see a slanted smile adorning that handsome face. Suddenly, Gaby felt wrong to make up her mind. Mother, Gaby will not be mutilated, ‘ right?

“Why daydream?” ask Gabriel.

“Hah?” Gaby jerks. “Oh, I just thought about staying where.”

Gabriel had just realized the existence of two large suitcases beside the chair. “Home lo?”

Gaby grimaced, embarrassed to say it. “I contracted earlier. Yeah, well, I got fired, couldn't pay, got kicked out, deh, hehe.”

Gabriel thins lips. Just this time, he met a person who was hit by problems, but still could haha-hihi. “Living in my apartment, want?”
