The Contracts

The Contracts
A Bad Day

Gaby normalized her expression when she reached the kitchen. He smiled as Reyhan asked his condition for going too long. Not wanting to waste any more time, he immediately resumed his work. Entering the lunch hour, the cafe was getting crowded.

“Table number fifteen, yes.”

Gaby nodded, taking over the tray. Then, take him to a table near the entrance, where two men were chatting. “Sorry disturb. Orders, Kak.”

“Thank you.”

The man smiled, revealing two dimples that made him look sweet, while the other man was silent with an intimidating look.

“Then .. I excuse you. Enjoy.” As fast as lightning, Gaby left from there. It was the man's gaze that made him uncomfortable.

“Other times, you scare him.”

“Why, Brother?” tanya Sea, follow Gaby's line of sight. “Lo know them?”

Gaby gnashing. He had not realized that he had been watching the man from behind the cashier. “Hah? Eng-not.”

Sea squeaking, don't believe it just like that.

“Totally! I also just met, like a new customer.” Gaby saw someone raise their hand, a sign of wanting to order. “Gue to there first, yes.”

Sea chuckled softly, feeling funny seeing Gaby misbehaving.

“Can I record an order –” Gaby's voice is getting swallowed at the end of the sentence, “nya, Kak?”

The woman smiled obliquely, looking haughty holding the side of the menu book with both hands. Don't forget that triumphant gaze, as if mocking Gaby's current position. Yeah, typical of a Rachella Vania.

Gaby cleared her throat slowly. Despite his annoyance, he should remain professional at work. “Sorry, Brother, I repeat. Can I record the order now?”

Rachel pulled her free hair behind her ear. Gaze at Gaby a glance before mentioning the lunch menu he wanted.

Gaby recorded the order quickly. “Good, Brother. Order will be ready within fifteen minutes.”

“Eits, you don't want to talk to me first?” Rachel closed the menu book, leaning against the chair with her arms crossed.

“Sorry, Brother, I still have to work.” Gaby tried to hold back. Rachel's face is so limp-able. He was sure that the arrival of the woman was only to disturb him.

“Honey, even though I want to talk a lot of the same thing, about ... high school time maybe. If I can turn back time, I want to go back to that time.”

Gaby is schematizing a small notebook and a pen in her hand. Highlighting the flat plain pretentious face that was filled with that make up. “If you don't show up in front of my eyes, I wouldn't want to know if we were in the same class. That means there is no interest in my life. Excuse me.”

Rachel didn't hold back anymore. A cynical smile accompanies Gaby's departure, perfectly satisfied to see the anger radiating

behind the girl's calm face. “Well, I admit, you're getting bolder.”

Sea immediately approached Gaby, feeling something strange as he watched her stand for quite a long time at table number nine. “Kak, you're nothing?”

Sea's guess is getting stronger when he sees Gaby's sour face.

“Yes, I’m fine.” Gaby smiled soothingly, not wanting to make Sea worry. He clamped a paper tear on the hanger. Then, receive a tray containing food to be delivered to the customer's table.

“Okay, I will trust you.”

“Thank you.”

Exhaling softly, Gaby lifted her tray towards Rachel's desk. Kind of lazy actually. Want to ask for help to others, but everyone is busy with their respective tasks.

“Order, Brother,” said Gaby, not as friendly as usual. His face was also covered with a thin smile.

Rachel remained silent, watching Gaby serve her food. Without saying anything, Gaby just passed by. This certainly made Rachel angry.

“Didn't I order a blueberry smoothie. Why did you give me strawberry?”

Gaby turned around, suppressing the gouging emotions in her inner being. Rachel really wanted to play him. However, Gaby is not the name if it is easily provoked.

“Is that? Maybe your tongue was tight, so mention the wrong order. Fine, I'll change soon.”

“So, you beat me up,” said Rachel, no longer speaking formally. It was obvious that he did not like Gaby's words.

Rachel threw away her face. However, a second later, he smiled cynically. Rachel called for a waiter who passed her desk. “Can I meet with the manager of this cafe?”

Timo looked at Gaby confused. What the hell's been going on? Seeing Gaby as if she was holding back anger, was certainly not a good thing.

“Can, right?” rachel asked with emphasis, a little annoyed that the man never answered her.

“Ah, bi-can, Kak.” Timo immediately went from there, avoiding a situation that felt increasingly gripping.

Gaby breathed a tired sigh. I guess what Rachel wanted to do. Can't Rachel stop messing with her life?

“Sorry for the inconvenience. I will pay attention to my employees even better.” Mr. Berta, as manager of D’Flo apologized sincerely. He glanced at Gaby, furious that the girl did not apologize either.

“I will not apologize for a mistake I never made,” Gaby said. He heard very clearly when Rachel mentioned strawberries. That girl was the only one who wanted to make trouble with him.

Rachel plays her nail art. “Your employees are very stubborn, Sir. You can accept employees, like he who does not want to admit his mistakes.”

Gaby snorts rough. “Lo –”

“Look, he dared to brandish his index finger!” cut Rachel, don't let Gaby say a single word.

“I'm sorry, Miss. I will discipline him again.” Pak Berta looked at Gaby. “Gaby ..” call him. The half-century man's face flushed red, looking extremely angry. “Cute to my room.”

Five minutes passed, no one had yet opened their voice. A heavy sigh was heard with a tired look that highlighted Gaby. The girl also kept silent, returning the big boss' gaze fearlessly. He knows what his boss wants, but he won't do it. Really, here he's not the guilty one.

“You'll keep quiet?”

“I'm not wrong, sir. So, what to question ..”

Gaby's words came to a halt when Pak Berta looked at her sharply. “Oke, let's just say I'm guilty, I'll pay for the food he ordered and replace it with an order he thinks is right.”

Pak Berta massaged his head, suddenly feeling dizzy facing his very stubborn employees. “You just need to apologize, and done.”

“No, Sir. I can't. That will only make him even happier.”

Pak Berta. “You know him?”

Gaby melengos's. “Even I am lazy to remember it, Sir.”

“I don't care what the problem is between you. He is a customer who should be well served –”

“Although he pays, it does not mean he can act arbitrarily, Sir!”

“You are answering constantly if told.”

“I prefer tempe, anyway, Sir.”

Gaby puffed her cheeks. Pak Berta's face is getting unpleasant to see. Gaby cleared her throat slowly. “I, right, just straighten out the error, sir. Someone still reminded me of Father. Try it if there is no me –”

“Neot to try. Starting tomorrow, I do not want to see your face again,” cut Pak Berta. He will end it all here before his blood rises against the girl before him.

Gaby gnashing. His brain suddenly blanked. “I mean, Sir?”

“YOU I FIRED.”

Irritated. That's what Gaby felt. He slammed the door as he exited the room, not caring if the old man had a heart attack. Gaby stared at the hostile door in front of her. How could he be fired just because of that fox-man? Well, Gaby feels betrayed.

Gaby jumped when the door opened. He took a step back, giving the half-century man a look. “I guessed it, Mr. Boss would have been just kidding –”

“What do you mean? I forgot to pay your salary this month plus severance pay. It's not good if I'm the same you. Though you can only make me high blood.” Pak Berta handed a white envelope to Gaby, then immediately re-entered.

Gaby laughed incessantly, kicking her right leg into the door. “Pekyu,” said with middle finger shuffling.

Don't think Gaby would beg just to be accepted for another job. Gaby's self-esteem is too high to do such a despicable thing. According to Gaby, there is no place back for the person who took it off. Missing one, another opportunity will open up over time.

Well, let's see, how Galencia Gaby Dionzha will live his life after this.
