FIFTY TWO
"How's my mom doing doc?" Seruni approached a doctor who had just come out of the IGD room. Same with Alpha.
"Calm down, the patient is fine now. But still unconscious. Lucky it was quickly taken to the hospital."
"My mom hurts, Doc?"
"Mild heart attack."
"Heart attack?"
"Yes! Please do not surprise the patient excessively. Because it can trigger his heart's work system."
"Can I go to the dock? I want to see my Mama."
"May, the patient will soon be transferred to the treatment room."
Actually after Seruni bidding to go to the campus this morning, Mama Amara immediately came out of her room when she heard the roar of the car engine that was getting away. Mama Amara didn't lock herself in the room all day. Mama Amara also does her homework as usual. It's just that he's not as agile as usual. Seruni sat beside her mother's gurney. While Alfa sat on the sofa in the care room Mama Amara.
Not long after Faya came with her mother. Yes, just now when Seruni waited for his mother in front of the IGD room, Seruni had contacted his best friend.
"How's Aunt Amara Run?" Faya and Mama Gita approach the gurney.
"The doctor said Mama's condition is fine. Just waiting for Mama to wake up."
"Patiently, Run. Amara's a strong woman, she must be okay." Mama Gita stroked Seruni's head.
"Yes Tan, I hope so too." Sahut Seruni's.
Alfa appears to be moving from his seat and then approaching to the Brankar. "Run?"
Seruni, Faya, and mama Gita turned their heads. "Alpha!" Faya and her mother together. Faya and Mama Gita do not realize that there is someone else in the room besides the three of them.
"Fa, Auntie," Alfa grabbed Mama Gita's hand and kissed her.
"Good Tan." Alfa turned to look at Seruni. "Where's your phone?" Alfa raised her hand.
Seruni without asking directly handed over his phone to Alfa.
After typing the number and save it into the phone Seruni, Alfa immediately handed back the phone Seruni to the owner. "Call me when something happens. I go home first, I'll be back tonight."
Seruni just nodded. Alfa immediately resigned. Not to forget he also said goodbye to Mama Gita.
"What exactly happened?" Ask Faya after Alfa. And Seruni immediately told the chronology of the incident that Seruni himself did not know.
Maghrib Faya and his mother returned home. Only Seruni was left alone to look after his mother. Actually, Faya wanted to accompany him to take care of Mama Amara. But Seruni refused because there was Alfa who would later accompany him.
Faya did not force. Perhaps this is an opportunity for Seruni and Alfa to speak from heart to heart about the thorny problems faced by them.
"I'm sorry Seruni ma. Sorry if Runi disappointed Mama. I don't want to be like this ma. But circumstances forced me to be like this." Seruni tightly grasped his mother's hand. He was crying, his head was resting beside his hand. Without Seruni realizing Mama Amara was conscious. But Mama Amara chose to stay silent because she wanted to know what her son had been hiding.
"There is something in Runi that makes Runi become like this. And only Alpha can stop all this. Hence Runi decided to accept this marriage even though Runi did not love Alfa."
A tear fell on the corner of Amara's eyes. Even in her unconscious state, her son did not want to tell her what was really going on.
That night Alfa kept her promise to come back. With a bag of crackles in his hand, Alfa entered the care room of Mama Amara.
"Eat already?" Alfa asked who was answered by Seruni. "Eat, here I bring you to eat." Alfa thrusts the crackle bag towards Seruni.
"Thank you." Seruni directly sat her body onto the sofa followed by Alfa who was also sitting beside her. "Have you eaten Al?"
"Ear, eat!"
Seruni directly devoured his food to the toilet. Alfa seemed happy because Seruni was slowly willing to accept it. This is what he wanted long ago. Alfa really loved Seruni, but Seruni had never seen him in the first place. Seruni only considered him a friend because Seruni did not want to damage the friendship between them.
