The Charm of Mas Jaka

The Charm of Mas Jaka
The Foundation of Love for Dara

"It's okay if Dara can't continue Dara's lecture because Dad has to repay the debt to Mr. Carik, as long as Dara is not married to Mas Bambang, Dad," asked Dara who sounded heartbreaking.

Mr. Kades shook his head. "The promise of a true man must be kept, Dara. And I promised Mr. Carik to marry you to his youngest son" said Mr. Kades.

Dara shuffled, the little girl immediately got up and then ran inside towards her room without a word.

"Your staff, sir! All this time, the mother just kept quiet with the attitude of the Father who is arrogant and arbitrary to the mother! But if it's about our son, Dara, mother won't stay still!" exclaiming Miss Rosmah who immediately moved, the graceful woman was about to chase after the princess.

Mr. Kades let out a long breath. "Please, ma'am, if you have the guts to complain and ask your parents for help!" the mockery of Mr. Kades that can still be heard by his wife.

Mr. Kades smiled a smirk. "You've even been dumped by your family, ma'am," muttered Mr. Kades.

While Ms. Rosmah paused for a moment, hearing her husband's words made Ms. Rosmah a little hesitant. However, for the sake of seeing the happiness of the princess, Ms. Rosmah once again made up her mind.

Mr. Kades' wife again continued to move, to follow his daughter.

Upon arrival in front of Dara's tightly closed room, Ms. Rosmah knocked on the door quietly. "Sir, it's mom. Can you come in?" ma'am Rosmah's permission slightly shouted for Dara to hear.

Shortly thereafter, Dara opened the door for her mother. "Come in, Mom," said Dara who is now no longer crying, but Dara's round eyes still look puffy.

Ms. Rosmah followed Dara's steps, the two of them then sat on the edge of the bed.

"Don't be sad, Nduk. Mother will ask for your help, so that you can escape from this problem," comforted Miss Rosmah to her only daughter, the daughter who became the foundation of all her hopes later.

Dara looked at her mother doubtfully. "Don't you ever like mommy?" dara asked while holding her mother's hand. The girl knew very well how much the mother was tormented if she was among her extended family.

Miss Rosmah shook her head. "No parent really hates their child, Dara. Even if he shows a dislike attitude to the mother, it's because he has a reason," said Ms. Rosma who has not been able to tell Dara about her past, that graceful face suddenly looked so sad.

Implied a regret in the black netra of Ms. Rosmah, a regret about the past that she did not want to repeat to her only daughter is married to the wrong man.

"Mom sure, will ask for help on the eyes?" ask Dara who began to arise hope.

Miss Rosmah nodded. "Tomorrow, we go to the city together, all of you go back to the boarding house" concluded Ms. Rosma who then left the princess's room.

Dara was pensive and still sitting in the same place. His memory was fixed on the calm young man who only dared to throw a smile at Dara kala at school.

Dara who is a star in school because besides being beautiful she is also smart, liked by many male friends at her school. But for some reason, Dara never responded to every guy who tried to get close. Dara is attracted to Jaka.

Jaka who every talk is always as it is and is not hypocritical, like most of Dara's friends. Jaka who does not talk much, but if speaking always sounds funny and makes the interlocutor smile happily.

However, when talking to Dara, Jaka never spoke that nyleneh. The young man always kept his word.

"So, can you borrow your biology notes, right?" pinta Dara who starts approaching Jaka. 'My mountain is not complete, because earlier Bu Uci really cepet explain it," continued Dara reasoned.

Though everyone knows that Dara is a clever student, who is unlikely to listen to the explanation of the teacher.

Jaka smile. "May, make you also nothing," Jaka replied sincerely, while proffering a written book that he wanted to put in an outdated bag.

Netra round Dara brightly sparkling. "Really?"

Jaka nodded. 'It's not just the book that I'm going to give Dara, if you ask for my heart too, I'll give it.' Unfortunately, Jaka only dared to say so in his heart, because he realized where he came from.

"Ih .. Your cheek is adorable, deh, Jaka," seduced Dara, who intended to give a signal of love in her heart.

Jaka smiled more and more. 'If you know how I feel, Dara. I also wanted to have the courage to express this feeling, but I had to be willing to wait until then. A time when other people no longer look me one eye, ' whispered Jaka in heart.

'Come, Jaka! Express your feelings, don't make me wait!' the actual Gemas Dara could feel that Jaka also liked her.

'Cooking should be me first, anyway, who shot you!' dara protested, but she could only keep her disappointment in heart.

Dara could understand, why Jaka seemed to keep his distance from her. Perhaps, Jaka felt insecure about the circumstances of the two of them were much different. In fact, Dara never looked at Jaka from his outer skin.

For two years, Dara waited, but the young man she loved never expressed his feelings.

Jaka only shows his feelings for Dara, through small concerns by helping Dara do the task because Jaka is indeed smarter than himself.

Dara's daydreams caved in when there was an incoming notification on her phone lying on the dressing table. Dara moved and took the phone.

Dara sat back on the bed and leaned her body on the head of the bed. He opened his phone, his once sad face now smiling widely.

"Mas Jaka," he murmured.

Dara immediately read the message from the lover of the heart. "Assalamu'alaikum, Cah Ayu. Have you prayed dhuhur, not yet?" jaka asked attentively.

"It's dong, Mas. Cook this hour not yet dhuhur prayer?" reply Dara who asked back.

"Cakep, really a sholehah wife candidate," replied Jaka, who made Dara smile bitterly.

The words of the father again ring in Dara's ear and it makes Dara become restless.

"Mas Jaka again, what?" ask Dara later. "Can you call for a minute? There's something Dara wants to say" she asked.

Jaka only read Dara's message but did not reply, making Dara become more restless.

A few minutes waiting, but Jaka did not reply to Dara's message. When Dara was about to ask back, her phone vibrated indicating that there was an incoming call.

Dara smiled in relief and hurriedly received a call from Jaka. "Assalamu'alaikum, Ma. Why so long?" dara protest as soon as finished saying hello.

There was a crisp laugh of Jaka across the street, which made Dara miss the tall young man even more. "Why, Neng? Can't wait, wait for you to come home?" ask Jaka who starts to dare tease if they are both phone calls.

Dara pursed her lips, as if Jaka could see her.

"I'm sorry, Neng. Mas'll have to find a safe place first to be able to call you, not good if other friends know," explained Jaka.

"What is it, Neng Dara?" jaka asked later, with a voice that sounded so soft. The voice that Dara always misses.

"Mas, Da-dara wants to be betrothed to Mas Bambang," said Dara with stammering and very shrewd, but for Jaka, it sounded like a thunderous voice that grabbed and was able to destroy the foundation of love that Jaka had built for Dara.
