Chapter 24 Trapped by Brondong Tajir

"Why do I remember the old-school song Sephia. Are you also a lover?"

"Me?" Sevia showed her own face with her index finger.

"No! But the mermaid was sitting on the sand" Adam quipped.

Sevia who understood Adam's intentions finally chuckled to herself laughing at herself. The one who initially laughed because of Adam's innuendo, now turned into a cynical laugh. Sevia continued to laugh at herself as a mistress. Not much different from the old song.

Seeing Sevia laughing like that, Adam became pensive. He did not expect that his joke turned out to get such a reaction. 'Have I offended him?' thought Adam.

While in a different place, Dave looks panicked when Harry tells him not to find Sevia in the room. He asked Harry to find him. But it turns out that his assistant could not find the whereabouts of his boss' mistress wife. Until finally, Dave hacked the resort CCTV and found Sevia heading towards the beach.

After he says goodbye to his family, Dave rushes to find Sevia's whereabouts. He was worried, his wife was lost to the protected forest which was deliberately raising some wild animals there. Without speaking again, Dave immediately pulled Sevia's hand to follow him without caring for Adam who looked shocked by his arrival.

"Dave release! My hand hurts," whined Sevia.

"Mrs. Dave, you misunderstood! That girl almost got lost in the woods" defended Adam.

Hearing what Adam said, Dave immediately stopped his steps. "You, don't interfere!" point at Dave and he resumes his steps.

Adam just stared at the departure of Sevia which was pulled by Dave. His heart was slightly pinched seeing the girl he had just met being treated like that.

Dave took Sevia to the bathroom. He was very angry when he saw Sevia was joking with another man while he was made to look for the whereabouts of his wife. Without speaking, he immediately turned on the shower and doused his entire body with cold water. Sevia just resigned, because since he had rebelled was just tired that got plus his hand was getting sore because of Dave's grip that was getting stronger.

Dave's bathing his wife again, he doesn't like any other man's hand touching hers. After cleaning his wife's entire body, he immediately put on a towel and took her out of the bathroom. Again Sevia was silent like a child. The poor girl just sat down on the edge of the bed. She let her husband look for clothes and other supplies for her to wear.

Dave sighed deeply as he turned around from picking up his shirt and looked at Sevia who was crying in silence. Sevia kept him from crying. But the defense collapsed. He could not help but feel tightness in his heart, until only tears could ease the burden in his heart.

Dave approached and sat down beside his wife. There was not a single sound coming out of his mouth. He was silent, and so was Sevia. Until finally the silence broke as Sevia opened her mouth after she finished wearing the shirt.

"Dave, let's talk me out! I don't want to be a barrier between you and that girl. Forget the ridiculous agreement we made!" lirih Sevia's.

Sevia laughed off her tears and said, "Why did I realize you were selfish, Dave? You are the same as Andika who just wants to use me. Why would I be stuck with two selfish men?"

"Don't equate me with that jerk! I never used you!" resolute Dave.

Sevia immediately threw herself. His heart was tired, so tired of facing this day that it was very draining of tears. He decided to close his eyes and immediately knit a dream world.

While Dave just silently looked at what Sevia was doing, until his eyes accidentally saw Sevia's wrists look flushed. Dave immediately took Sevia's hand and looked at it from close range.

There was a door to the resort room that opened it from the outside. It appears that Dave entered with a semi-conscious condition due to the influence of alcohol. After dinner together, Dave invites Harry and Barra to accompany him to the bar. At first they only drank lightly. But in the end, Dave asked for drinks that contain alcohol with high levels.
