Chapter 18 The Deal

"That's Dave! Your boyfriend will see you with me. Aren't you afraid she'll get jealous and misunderstand?" Sevia tries to divert Dave's conversation.

"Daughter? Do you think Zee is my girlfriend? The girl I was with, you think she's my boyfriend? Are you jealous?" flocked Dave.

"I have no right to be jealous, shouldn't I expect more from our marriage? You also can't be angry if I'm with Andika. He and I have no special relationship other than an ex-lover." Sevia immediately let go when she saw Dave was dumbly digesting her words.

Realizing Sevia had left him, Dave immediately ran to catch up with Sevia. However, he loses track as Sevia hides behind Andika's car. "Damn! Where did the girl go?"

Hearing the swearing from her husband, Sevia tightened her arms that hugged her own body. Even though he knows, he will not be able to escape from Dave's anger because he caught her together with Andika. However, he does not want his quarrel to be known to many people so Sevia prefers to shy away from Dave.

Feeling unable to find his wife, Dave returns to the restaurant. It was Zee who had finished his meal, as well as Elzio and his adoptive parents.

"Where are you, Dave? Why so long?" ask Al

"From the toilet, Om! It was a long time ago" answered Dave.

"For so long, it's like just going out." Zee immediately chimed in on his papa's words.

"I got the call first. Looks like there's a problem at the Cikarang factory. Um, maybe I'll go straight to the apartment. Zee will come with your papa!" Lying Dave.

"If there is a problem, solve it well. Do not buy time and wait for big problems to be solved," Icha's message that catches the idea that his adopted son is lying. Although they did not confess, Icha knew when her husband and children were covering something from her.

"Yes, Tan!" answer Dave clumsily.

After finishing their meal, they went straight home. The trip away from S town after attending his grandfather's funeral, made Dave stretch his muscles before he went on his way.

It didn't take long, the car that Dave was carrying was out of the toll gate. But there was something that made his eyes glare. He accidentally saw Sevia walking on the sidewalk. He immediately pulled over his car and approached Sevia which looked sad.

"Via, what's wrong with you?" Dave immediately took Sevia into his car. Without speaking again, he drove his car straight to the apartment.

When he got to the apartment, the blue-eyed man just stayed in front of the wheel. He seemed reluctant to get out of the car, before hearing an explanation from his wife who had been silent earlier.

"Via, is there nothing you want to say?" asked Dave with a glance towards Sevia.

Sevia let out a long sigh and exhaled before speaking to her husband. "Dave, how about we end it. I don't want to tie you to this fake wedding. I was thinking, maybe I'll just go home. I'm tired, Dave!" A clear drop forced out from the corner of his eye.

"I can't let go of you. For me there is no false marriage because we are legally married in the eyes of God." Dave was really shocked to hear what Sevia had to say. He did not expect, his wife would ask to separate.

"Dave, you're young. Surely there are many things you want to pursue, while I? I can't have a relationship if it's just playful. Even though we're married, aren't we getting married because we're forced to?" Sevia really felt it had no footing. The problem comes so simultaneously.

When she became the subject of gossip people, Andika just kept blackmailing her plus she saw Dave was so friendly with other girls. It feels like he has given up on his life so he plans to resign from his job and will find a job in another city that if it makes him far from inner pressure.

"Via, let's make a deal. If in one year, we can't fall in love with each other then I'll let you go by compensating. However, if we both fall in love then I will take you to my family and officiate our marriage in the office of religious affairs" Dave said with a fixed gaze on Sevia.

"Why should it be next year?" ask Sevia.

"It took me a while to convince my heart" Dave replied.

"All right! But you have to support me when I'm not working anymore" said Sevia.

"Why do you want to resign? Is there a problem with your job?" dave asked with his wife's probing eyes.

"No! You just read what they say about me." Sevia gave Dave her phone to read for herself what was being discussed by her employees.

Sevia's hand with reflexes pinched Dave's stomach making the brondong laughingly get an impromptu attack from his wife. He also did not remain silent. Dave caught Sevia's hand and tickled his wife.

Now both of them are in bed with a plain body only wrapped in a thick blanket. Yes, the couple had gone through some intoxicating rounds of release. They let go of the longing after one week of not wrestling in bed. Sevia was no hypocrite, as she so enjoyed her husband's every touch and game.

"Via, is there anything you want to explain? Why did you get to be with that guy?" dave asked as his hand stroked Sevia's hair slowly.

Not wanting anything to be covered up, Sevia finally told him everything. Starting from her kidnapped then threatened and forced to give Andika some money.

"How much money did he take?" ask Dave.

"Five million" replied Sevia.

"I'll change, but I'll ask for her phone number." Dave immediately picked up his phone that was on the nightstand.

After Sevia gave Andika her mobile number, Dave fiddled with her phone and smiled happily.

"Look! He just has a video of you kissing" Dave said with his cell phone.

Sevia instantly sees a video of herself and Andika the first time she and Andika kiss. Sevia did not think that the video was what Andika made to blackmail her. "If this were spread, people would not see my face clearly" muttered Sevia.

"Indeed! Take it easy, he won't be able to use his phone for a few days.I've sent him a virus that makes him lose a lot of important data on his phone including all phone numbers and all stored memory," obviously Dave.

"You hacked her phone?" ask Sevia wonder.

"If not I hack, where might I get your video. Now I want to get paid, for freeing my perverted wife from the entanglement of her matre ex-lover." Dave rolled his eyes mischievously.

"What payoff? Don't ask for money, I don't have it!" sevia Serobot.

"Why would I ask you for money if I had more money than you" Dave said.

"Yes, I'll make a special dinner to pay my husband back." Sevia immediately went to clean up because she felt sticky with the remnants of romance with her brondong.

No different from Sevia, Dave immediately followed his wife to the bathroom until the shower was accompanied by the sound of moaning and whipping of two human children who were in a state of passion.

"Yes, this is for you indomie-flavored empal barrel and this is for me fried aceh noodles."
