The Bitter Sweet Marriage

The Bitter Sweet Marriage
Chapter 10 - Bloody Finger

Dona goes to the kitchen, she prepares food for Candra and Hana. He left them both in the living room.

"Even though they marry not out of love. As a mother, I hope love will grow between them. I don't know why my hunch says Hana's a destiny for Candra."

Dona cut the carrot with thin slices in a circular shape. After that, he prepared other vegetables to cut.

"Can you help Hana?" Hana's voice suddenly appears before Dona.

"Just be surprised" said Dona rather surprised. Hana just smiled while showing her teeth.

"no need. You just sit there sweet" replied Dona again.

"Where will you help?"

Without the consent of Dona, Hana was already holding a knife in her hand. He peeled the onions and then sliced them thinly. But his fingers were even sliced by the knife. Blood poured out of his finger. Hana immediately put down the knife and squeezed the blood out.

"Mazandra! Come here!" yelled Dona who saw Hana's hand bleed. Dona panicked and stopped cutting vegetables.

"What's the matter ma?" ask Candra who just came to the kitchen.

"Hurry and help Hana, the blood continues to flow" Dona ordered.

"Let it be ma, anyways reteeramin. Mom told him to sit up sweet. He's not even shaken. That's the consequence."

"Mazandra! You are yes! It doesn't matter now." Dona's angry at Candra.

"Yes ma."

Candra obeyed Dona's orders. He took Hana's hand. Then I saw the bleeding finger.

Candra sucks the blood with her mouth so it doesn't come out. He then took the P3K box on the top shelf in the kitchen. He put a plaster on Hana's finger. After that, Candra left the kitchen.

Hana just fell silent being treated unusually by Candra. His heart was beating very fast. How not? His heart at the pump filled with love that began to arise. At first Hana was just interested and fascinated. Could it be that he is really in love now?

"Hana ..." call Dona.

Hana was still silent then replied, "Huh? Huh yeah?"

Dona shook her head while smiling.

"Candra is cold. His words are sharp too. But one thing is special about him. He has a soft heart. Especially to those he loves."

Hana understands. He had heard almost the same word from Raka.

"You better get the fish in the fridge. Then fry. Regarding the onions, let me continue."

This time Hana follows Dona's orders. He did not want to be said to be no longer obedient by Candra if he made a mistake the second time.

In a black room, Candra sits at her desk. He put his head on the table.

"What have I done? Why would I do that? Ahhh!!!"

Candra said the question sentence while hitting her desk.

"Stupid! If he misunderstands it could be dangerous!"

Candra blames her unnatural behavior. He lifted his head from the table. Then take a cell phone and call someone. Unfortunately, the phone contact he called could not be reached.

"What actually happened? Why did you disappear without a trace? I still haven't forgotten you yet."

Forgetting someone is not easy. Especially if the person does not intend to forget. Let all that taste flow like water. In the process, slowly the love will fade by itself.

For days Abraham searched, but there was not a single clue he could find. He began to give up and despair. Then he got back in the car.

"Where else should I look?" abraham asked himself.

"I just don't want to regret my decision."

Abraham hit the steering wheel of his car. He lowered his head at the wheel of the car. Suddenly someone knocked on the windshield of his car.

"Excuse me, can you park the car right?"

Abraham pressed a button to open the windshield.

"Sorry, did you say anything?" abraham asked him what he heard.

"Can you park the car properly? The problem is because of your car, our customer's car can't get out" said the parking attendant.

"Oh, sorry sorry. I will park it properly. Can I ask you something?"

Abraham tried asking the parking lot. He probably knew about the landowner.

"When was this restaurant built? Wasn't it a house?" ask Abraham.

"About 10 years ago. It used to be a house. But the owner sold the house to the restaurant owner" explained the parking attendant.

"What is the owner who used to be with his wife and daughter?" ask Abraham again.

"No, he just lives alone."

"All right, thanks for the information, sir."

"Together."

Abraham drove his car and drove away from the restaurant.

It was getting late in the afternoon, Hana had been in Candra's house all day. He felt uncomfortable because of it. He is not officially a part of that family.

"Tante, Hana said to go home first" said Hana.

"What's going home for? You just stay here. Tomorrow is your wedding. You can stay and sleep in the room with Sandra. He'll be happy."

If it had been like this, Hana could no longer refuse. He could only try to be comfortable living in people's homes.

"After you've married Candra. You'll live with him alone. Actually Candra had prepared everything from a long time ago. He is ready mentally and materially. It's just that God wants something else. He's not a match for Celine."

Hana listened to Dona's story. Who is Celine?

"Celine?"

"Yes, he's a former Candra fiance who left Candra without giving a reason. At that time, Candra was devastated to learn that Celine could not be contacted for a long time. Until finally he searched the house and to the usual place in Celine visit. But the result is nothing."

From Hana's vision, she could feel how the heart of a mother who saw her son was suffering. That must have hurt a lot. A mother wants the best for her child.

"So, I'm asking for help. Whatever happens in the future. Whatever problems you're having. Don't let you leave Candra. Maybe he'll suffer a second time."

Not yet a daughter-in-law, but Hana has been asked not to leave Candra. Can he? What if Hana can't stand Candra's attitude? Then what if Candra herself wants Hana to leave her one day?

"What if Candra can't love me. Do I have to endure a love that only exists on one side?" ask Hana.

"Candra's gonna like you. Trust me" said Dona with a smile.

Should Hana believe it?
