The Beginning of Marriage to the Iceberg Woman President
chapter 52 Loneliness

Valerine sat in her quiet room. Outside the window, the sun set slowly, leaving a trail of orange and red colors in the twilight sky. However, even though the beautiful scene was in front of him, his heart still felt hollow and desolate.

He grabbed his beloved doll and hugged it tightly. The doll was the only friend who had always been faithful listening to her grievances. Valerine felt lonely, even in the crowd. He wanted someone who could understand his feelings, who could talk to him without any awkwardness.

Every time he saw Haidir and Wulan together, the feeling of loneliness deepened. They laughed, talked, and looked at each other with eyes full of love. Although Valerine was grateful for their happiness, she could not avoid the feelings of envy and loss that enveloped her.

That night, Valerine looked at her cell phone lying on the table. He wanted to send a message to Haidir and Wulan, but was too afraid to look like a nuisance. He felt like a spectator outside the window, looking at their happiness from afar without being able to go along with it.

Valerine opened her diary and began writing. She poured her feelings into words, describing the loneliness she felt. The writings became his loyal friend, a place where he could reveal all that was in his heart without fear of being judged.

Several times, Valerine tried to get Haidir and Wulan to do something together, but it always felt awkward. The two of them seemed so happy together, and Valerine did not want to ruin their beautiful moment. As time goes on, Valerine becomes increasingly estranged, feeling that she is a stranger in her once-close world of friends.

No one knew how deep the feeling of loneliness Valerine felt. He felt trapped in a black hole, where no light or warmth could penetrate him. Even when she laughed with her friends, that sense of loneliness was always behind her smile.

One day, while Valerine is sitting alone in the school garden, Fahri and Shelomita approach her. They could sense that something was wrong with Valerine.

"Valerine, what are you feeling?" ask Fahri gently.

Valerine looked at them with pouting eyes. "I feel lonely. Sometimes, I feel like a person who has no place here."

Shelomita nodded with understanding. "We feel it too. Especially since Haidir and Wulan started dating."

Valerine was a little relieved. Finally, he found someone who understood his feelings. "I don't want to ruin their relationship. But it feels so hard."

Shelomita added, "And maybe we can get Haidir and Wulan to join us once in a while. I'm sure they'll be happy."

Valerine felt her heart become lighter. He is not alone in his feelings. There were people who cared about him and were ready to be by his side. The three of them, Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita, decide to create meaningful moments together, overcoming the loneliness they feel.

As time passed, Valerine began to feel better. The togetherness with Fahri and Shelomita makes him feel accepted and appreciated. The four of them, along with Haidir and Wulan, created beautiful and unforgettable memories. Slowly but surely, Valerine's loneliness begins to fade, replaced by the feeling of happiness that comes from a strong friendship.

Every time he saw Haidir and Wulan together, his heart felt pierced. He wanted to feel happy for them, but a sense of loneliness and loss continued to envelop him. Although she tried to smile and pretend to be happy, but her friends knew that something was stirring in Valerine's heart.

Sometime later, when Haidir, Wulan, Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita gather in the school garden, Valerine feels her heart is happier than ever. He realized that true friends are those who care and support in every situation.

Haidir and Wulan were happy to see Valerine more cheerful. They felt guilty for not being aware of Valerine's previous feelings. They both invite Valerine to join in their various activities, so Valerine feels more noticed and appreciated.

One day, as the sun set on the western horizon, the three of them sat together by the lake near the school. Valerine was delighted to be able to share a moment like this with Haidir and Wulan.

"You two are really lucky to have each other" Valerine said with a sincere smile.

Haidir and Wulan looked at each other and smiled. Haidir spoke, "But we are also lucky to have a friend like you, Valerine."

Wulan nodded in agreement. "The two of you are an important part of our lives."
