Haidir has grown up to be a smart and passionate teenager. Now, he has entered Junior High, a new journey in his education. At his new school, Haidir has close friends, including Wulan, and their friends Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita.
One day, in a science class, their teacher gave them an interesting assignment that required teamwork. "You will form a group to research and understand the ecosystem of rice fields" the teacher said enthusiastically.
Haidir, Wulan, Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita also immediately gathered themselves. They have the same passion to complete this task well. After discussing, they formed a group called "EkoSawah" which consists of these five people.
They begin to plan their tasks seriously. Haidir as the leader of the group set the schedule and tasks of each member. Wulan and Valerine will focus on data collection, Fahri will design the presentation, and Shelomita will look for additional information.
First of all, the EkoSawah group made a field trip to a rural area that has rice fields. They watched closely how the rice field ecosystem functioned, from the wet soil to the diversity of plants and animals that lived there.
They also chatted with local farmers, who were happy to share their knowledge on how to maintain a balanced and sustainable rice paddy ecosystem. The farmers taught them the importance of maintaining biodiversity, water conservation, and the use of organic fertilizers.
Later, the EkoSawah group began their research. Wulan and Valerine collected data on the types of plants and animals found in rice paddies, as well as environmental impacts that may result from changes in the ecosystem. Fahri with his creativity designed an interesting and informative presentation, while Shelomita collected information from various sources to support the findings of the group.
After days of hard work, the EkoSawah group finally completed their task. Their presentations were given with confidence in front of the whole class. They explained clearly the importance of maintaining the rice field ecosystem, the challenges faced, and the solutions that can be taken.
Haidir, Wulan, Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita were delighted and satisfied with their hard work. They recognize that positive change begins with real understanding and action. And in the midst of happiness and togetherness, the EkoSawah group gets closer and closer in their friendship, ready for the next adventure in the world of knowledge and the environment.
Not long after their presentation, news of the EkoSawah group's research spread throughout the school. They get appreciation and praise from teachers and classmates for their efforts in understanding and promoting the importance of maintaining the rice field ecosystem.
In addition, the EkoSawah group was also invited to speak at a seminar on environment and sustainability held at the school. In the presence of students and parents, they confidently presented their findings and recommendations on the rice paddy ecosystem.
Pusvita, Valerine's mother, attended the seminar. She is proud to see Valerine and her friends take the initiative and contribute to environmental issues. Pusvita has long worked in the field of environmental conservation and feels inspired by the spirit of these children.
After the seminar presentation was completed, Pusvita approached the EkoSawah group with a warm smile. "You are all amazing" he said with appreciation. "You not only learn about the environment, but also inspire many people to care and act."
Of course, the achievements of the EkoSawah group also received attention from Fadhil, Zahra, Ega, and Sahrul. They take pride in the spirit of children in understanding and maintaining the environment from an early age. "You are hope and the future" said Fadhil sincerely.
In the end, adventure in the rice field ecosystem not only provides new knowledge for Haidir, Wulan, Valerine, Fahri, and Shelomita, but also strengthens their friendship. They have the same goal in keeping this beautiful earth and together, they realize that their small actions can have a big impact on the environment and surrounding communities.
