Chapter 34 Elementary School Preparation
The long-awaited day has finally arrived. Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine will begin their formal education at Elementary School (SD). Preparation to enter the Elementary School has been a pleasant moment for this small family.
That morning, Ega and Sahrul with the children set off for a shopping mall to buy school supplies. Haidir, with a cheerful face, held the grocery list that the school had given him. The list contains a notebook, pencil, pen, ruler, and a number of other supplies.
Meanwhile, Wulan and Valerine are also excited about choosing the backpack they love. Wulan chose a red bag with a picture of her favorite cartoon hero, while Valerine chose a purple bag with beautiful flowers.
"Gee, look at this! This is the coolest backpack!" said Haidir while pointing at a backpack with an image of an airplane.
"That's great, son. If that's what you like, let's buy it," replied Ega with a smile.
Then, they went on a shopping trip in search of school uniforms. Together, they choose the right uniform for Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine. They look for the appropriate size and make sure the uniform is comfortable to wear.
After shopping, the family stopped for lunch together. In between meals, they discussed plans to prepare the children further ahead of the first day of school.
Sahrul said excitedly, "Later on I will mark all of Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine's gear by his name. So that they don't lose their stuff at school."
Ega chimed in, "And I'll help them set their study schedules and break times. We'll set up a cozy study table for them at home."
After lunch, they went on a trip to buy school shoes. Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine eagerly tried several pairs of shoes until they finally found a comfortable one and according to their taste.
With passion, they double-check the grocery list and make sure that nothing is forgotten. They are happy to see the enthusiasm of their children in welcoming the first day of school.
Finally, the first day of SD arrived. Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine stood before the school door excitedly. Ega, Sahrul, Zahra, and Fadhil stood beside them with proud smiles on their faces.
"Today is a special day for you. You will start a new journey at school. Be smart kids, be studious, and always be kind to friends" Zahra said gently.
The spirit and support from the family made Haidir, Wulan, and Valerine feel more confident. They clasped their parents' hands tightly as they walked towards the classroom. With a heart full of excitement, they are ready to face a new world in elementary school.
As a mother, Pusvita continues to provide Valerine with her full support and affection at every step of her life, including entering a new stage in elementary school. Although she cannot be physically present on Valerine's first day of school, Pusvita always tries to provide support and love from a distance.
Before the first day of school, Pusvita had spoken to Valerine affectionately and excitedly to face the first day at school. She wants Valerine to feel confident and happy in living a new experience at school.
