Letter from Home

Aldi had been sick for a week and had not recovered. Rudi has also brought him back to the doctor but his condition changes have not been able to change significantly. His body was still weak and often felt dizzy. Aldi's body is getting thinner because his appetite has not been able to recover, his mouth still feels bitter.

Every day Nurmala visited him, bringing porridge or food that Aldi might be allowed to eat, but Aldi only tasted a little.

"Kang let's get spent!" pinta Nurmala while feeding Aldi, but Aldi's mouth was tightly closed, his head shook.

"Nur, I'll throw up!" lirih. Nurmala gave up and put her plate back on the table and left Aldi alone in the room.

That day they used it to clean up the contract. Aldi is still lying.

Monday morning before leaving for work, as usual Nurmala stopped by to visit Aldi and then escorted Rudi to the factory with Nihaya.

The day was getting more and more daytime as Aldi's replacement went around the production room. He's in and out of the room. "Letter!" he shouted as the postman came and brought some letters. He called out the names listed in the letter one of which belonged to Nurmala.

"Save your letter first, open it later at rest!" the supervisor's orders.

Nurmala immediately put the letter in the bag, she had seen the sender there was his mother. Nurmala only hopes that the letter does not question the seriousness of Aldi proposed to him, especially now that Aldi is sick. Nurmala is back at work, although her mind is sometimes unfocused, but she still does her job well.

Nurmala and Nihaya returned home to visit Aldi, the condition is still the same. Nurmala fed him a few spoons and then went home.

Arriving at the contract with an impatient heart Nurmala immediately opened a letter from her mother. First the contents of the letter were pleasant, because the news of his family was healthy. But at the end made Nurmala sultry, because his mother gave an ultimatum if until the month of Hajj Aldi did not come to ask, then Nurmala must follow the choice of his mother.

Nurmala folded the letter then threw it carelessly onto the table.

"What did Mpok Samira say?" ask Nihaya.

Nihaya picked up the letter, while she was reading, Nihaya sighed with concern.

"Assynnya!" one afternoon a man came to Aldi's contract.

"Waalikum salam" Rudi opened the door and let the man in.

"Aldi has Kang?" ask her to Rudi.

"Oh yeah, introduce me to Rizal's friend Aldi, this one week I didn't see him at home, so I'm here!"

"Oh Mas Rizal, the boss of the bag?" Rudi looked happy.

"Well, not the boss, little businessman!, can I go to his room?"

"Oh yes Mari-mari!" Rudi escorted Rizal into Aldi's weakly lying room.

"Al, how's your condition?" ask Rizal.

"This is how Zal" replied Aldi.

Rudi then told the results of the doctor's examination, it has been treated but there has been no significant change.

"My sister used to be sick like this, if medicine from the doctor alone is not enough, there must be traditional medicine that helps, tomorrow I deliver it here!"

Aldi smiled at Rizal's words, as if there was new hope for the cure of his illness.

"Patience Al, don't think too much about your lover's problem, if the soul mate won't go where Al!" Rizal added. Aldi only smiled wryly at Rizal's words. Because Aldi felt there was still a lot of money that he had to collect.

Some time talking, Rizal asked for himself and he said he would return tomorrow with the potion he was talking about. Nurmala and Nihaya show up at the door. "Assynnya!"

Nurmala and Nihaya shake hands.

"Nurma?" Rizal points at the hand guessing the girl named Nurmala. And he pointed to the right man. Nurmala nodded confirming Rizal's guess.

"It's not wrong that Aldi was lured to you Nur!" inner Rizal.

"Do you want to look at Aldi?" ask Rizal later.

"Yes Kang, deliver food!" answer Nurmala. Rizal then invited Nurmala in, as he paid his way home.

As usual, Nurmala fed Aldi and helped him take medicine.

"To the Doctor again, Kang?" ask Nurmala. Aldi simply replied with a smile while saying short "No need to Nur!"

Nurmala was silent, concerned about Aldi's condition that never healed.

"Propay for Nur!" aldi said later. Nurmala nodded while stroking Aldi's hands gently.

"I go home first, Kang?!, may soon be given health!"

"Yes, thank you!" Nurmala stood up leaving Aldi in the room, met Nihaya and took her back to the rented house.

After Rizal, and the two girls Rudi again approached Aldi.

"Aldi, you can borrow money from Rizal!" rudi's proposal which responded to Aldi's flat face.

The mind of the KSP employee according to Aldi only asked him to owe it.

"Al, you heard me, right?"

"Yes, I heard!" aldi lirih.

"You agree with my proposal?" Rudi still insisted on wanting to hear Aldi's answer.

"No!!" aldi replied short while pulling the blanket. Rudi had no more words he could say after hearing Aldi's words. Rudi chose to go out of the room and watch the ball show.

The next morning, Rizal came with a bottle of greenish-white potion that was not clear.

"Drink this Al, spend it, I'll be here again tomorrow!" Rizal asks Aldi to finish the drink he brought.

"Is this Zal, how it smells!" said Aldi.

"Easy, spend! you want to heal fast, right?" rizal asked with a little intimidation so that Aldi could spend the drink made from pumpkin juice, turmeric and earthworms.

With a little self-imposing finally Aldi could spend one glass of the potion without a word of protest. Rudi peeled a banana and he thrust it to his friend.

"This is the antidote Al" Aldi immediately chewed his food because it could not stand the sense of rancidity in the throat.

"Okay, I'm going home first Al, hopefully healthy soon, tomorrow I'm here again!" Rizal pamit's.
