The Adventures of the Goddess of the Night

The Adventures of the Goddess of the Night
CHAPTER 7

Not felt, it has been a month I worked as a waitress in a coffee shop owned by Mbak Su. Today I will receive my first salary, it feels very happy. Perhaps this is the happiest day for everyone, waiting for the fruits of his hard work to slam the bones from morning to night, leaving loved ones to be able to meet all needs.

Although in my heart I actually do not like this job, which requires me to always smile in front of men, accompany a chat, seduce so that later will come here again, he said, and all that discomfort I fought just because I had no choice but to live it.

Luckily, all the customers who came here were very polite, no one harassed or looked down on me who was just a coffee shop waiter. Only a few people tried to tease me flirtatiously, making me want to slap her face, especially if it was a middle-aged man. But all of that was only in my mind because I couldn't dare to do it.

If I feel uncomfortable, I always leave the customer to accompany others until the person gets upset and comes home and never comes back. Let me lose a customer, it is not appropriate for me to serve such a person, because there are still many other customers who are more polite and kind to me.

"Dek Erin, here's your salary this month" Ms Su appeared from behind the door handing me an envelope, startling me who had been daydreaming.

"Thank you Ma'am" I said to receive the envelope. I immediately put it in the bag in my room, then sat back on the chair in the stall, this afternoon is still quiet so I can relax a little.

"Tumben deserted yo Mbak?" I asked Mbak Su who was busy concocting coffee for Mr. Imam.

"Iya wes ordinary Rin this hour right now people are still at work, just a little longer also rame," said Mbak Su while pouring hot water into a cup, stirring it for a while, then bringing it into the house.

I glanced at my cell phone lying on the table, picked it up, and tapped on it. No incoming messages at all. Surely everyone is still busy at school or work, only I feel boredom like this.

Suddenly a red matic motor turned into the side yard of the stall, I immediately put my phone in the display case, then pretended to be busy cleaning the window using a rag.

A middle-aged man stepped into the stall. His body was fat and short, with round glasses perched on his nose. He took off his hat and sat on one of the chairs in the shop while fanning his face with his hands.

Mbak Su came in with a cheerful laugh greeting the man, making me frown, but I still pretended to wipe the window that was actually clean.

"Ach ordinary.busy with hehehe work." said Mr. Bambang chuckled.

"Say Mr. Bambang heartbroken left with Rini, huh?" mbak Su Excited.

Mr. Bambang laughed in response. "Can you be Su, where's your servant?" asked Mr. Bambang spread his gaze, then looked at me who was silent near the storefront.

"Oh yes forgot not to recognize my new son hehe to forget, guaranteed Mr. Bambang will like it, Rini mah passing by. Erin, here Nduk knows this Mr. Bambang." Ma'am Su waved her hand at me, making me want to not have to come closer.

"Pak Bambang knowsin, this is Erin instead of Rini. Erin, this is Mr. Bambang, he's a loyal customer here. Come on donk acquaintance." said Mbak Su as he grabbed my hand and thrust it towards Pak Bambang who had been staring at me with a view that I could not understand.

"Beautiful is also your son Su," said Mr. Bambang, looking at my hand that was outstretched, making me feel uncomfortable.

"I must be careful with this man." I murmured inwardly.

"Dek Erin, make me a glass of ice kukumacan yes, I am thirsty," said Mr. Bambang spoiledly, stroking my hand which he still held with his finger.

I immediately withdrew my hand, horrified by what he would do if I kept letting him. Not to mention that the man had dared to act impudent to me, in front of Mbak Su anyway. What can he do if Ma'am Su is not here.

"Ach.., why should I meet this person anyway," I grumbled inwardly.
