The 2nd Wedding

The 2nd Wedding
Chapter 3

"Tumben you call me, I usually call you unless there's something you want to talk about. There must be something you want to talk to me about right now?" anita asked suspiciously.

"Nit, can we meet later this afternoon? There's something important I want to talk to you about" I asked.

"What's up Nan? It looks serious?" urged Anita.

"Yes Nit is very important, this time I really need you to tell a story" I replied.

"Well, I'll see you later in the afternoon" Nita replied.

"We met at the usual place, Nit, I miss going there" Pinta Kinan.

"Oke Nan, you brought Salman, right? Let me take Yoga" Nita replied.

"Yes, we bring the children so they can play there" Kinan said.

"Yes I closed first Nan, Yoga again pup nih" said Anita.

"Okay, I'll see you later in the afternoon. Assalamu'alaikum. "close Kinan.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" Anita replied.

Kinan hung up his phone call. She stared at her little family photo on the nightstand beside her bed. Kinan grabbed it and gently stroked the picture frame.

The face of Bima, Salman and himself were laughing happily staring at the camera. This is a photo from a year ago, where his little family is still complete and the household is perfect.

Bima is a loving, patient, meek and righteous husband. Bima was present in Kinan's life when Kinan was in a state of heartbreak because his marriage was annulled unilaterally by the Refan family.

The jolly Bima was able to make Kinan's heart open again to the figure of a man. Bima who can restore confidence and joy Kinan. Bima also knows the story of the past between Kinan and Refan but she always responds wisely.

"Your soul mate is me, and his soul mate is his wife. So why am I angry and jealous about it. He is married and we are married. As long as you know your limits as my wife I won't bother you. All is your past" said Bima when she knew Kinan's past.

Kinan's tears now fell on his cheeks.

"Maaas.I miss you. Why did you leave me and Salman so soon. If you still exist, of course I won't have problems like this" Kinan murmured.

Astaghfirullah must not weep and regret what has become the decree of Allah. Bima was calm there. Kinan took a stand as he realized what he had just said.

But what should he do at the moment? If the matter is material he can send Salman to school and finance their lives until Salman is big. The safety of life, their home is located inside the complex. God willing they live comfortably and safely at home.

Kinan recalled his parents' words earlier.

"Salman needed a father figure, and his daughter Refan needed a mother figure"

My logic says it's true but my heart rejects it. What am I supposed to do?

Kinan looked back at the picture of her husband.

Mom, what am I supposed to do now? I can't forget you yet. You are the perfect husband for me. Inner Kinan.

"Mama." called Salman from his room.

Kinan immediately wiped away his tears dripping down his cheeks and rushed his way to the room of his son Salman who had a link into his room in the form of a door.

"Yes Iyaang." replied Kinan.

"Please Ma, this can't be separated. I can't put together the legion" Salman asked with a sad face.

Kinan kissed the top of his son's head gently. And do what Salman asks.

"Well, my son is very smart. What's that picture, baby?" tanya Kinan saw the work of her son compiling pieces of lego to form an object like an animal.

"It's a dinosaur" Salman replied proudly.

"It's great that Mama's son can make dinosaurs" Kinan praised.

Salman is back to playing with his toys. Putting lego into something.

Kinan looked at his son, usually at this time like Mas Bima who accompanied Salman to play while Kinan was still busy in the kitchen.

Hah...really you really need the figure of Papa son? Can't we just live together through our days together? Inner Kinan.

After finishing his nap Kinan woke Salman up.

"I'm going to go meet with Aunt Nita" Kinan said, stroking Salman's head gently.

Salman woke up as soon as he heard Nita's name.

"Tante Nita with Yoga, right Ma?" ask Salman. His consciousness was instantly full once he remembered the name Yoga.

Kinan smiled looking at his son's face.

"Yes Iaaang" replied Kinan.

Salman sat down from his sleep.

"Yes, let's take a shower Ma" asked Salman. Now he is very excited. No more waking up.

"Come on young. You will be magic Mama to be a handsome and fragrant child" welcome Kinan no less excited.

They walked to the bathroom to bathe Salman. After finishing Kinan put Salman in his clothes and they prepared - ready to go to meet Nita according to their promise.

Kinan made sure his house was safe when he left. He checked the stove, lights and doors before leaving. Then Kinan started his car.

After everything was confirmed safe, Kinan drove his car forward. He and Salman are now heading to a park near his former campus with Anita.

This is their favorite place to meet since college until now. In the park they can sit - sit back and enjoy the atmosphere of the afternoon. While their children can be free to play in the park.

"Assalamu'alaikum Salmaaaaan" Nita said kindly to Salman when they met.

"Wa'alaikumsalam Aunt Nita. Hi Yoga" replied Salman.

They hugged each other after that Salman and Yoga immediately played in the park. They don't need time to adapt because they know each other.

Kinan and Anita sat in the park chair looking at their son playing and running - running in the park.

"So what do you want to tell me?" ask Anita directly to the point of the problem.

Kinan seemed to be thinking, where did he start to tell everything.

"It's about Refan Nit" Kinan said.

"You're dreaming about it again?" ask Anita.

Kinan shook his head.

"So what's the problem?" ask Anita curious.

"His wife died two months ago while giving birth to their daughter" Kinan said.

"Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun." said Anita.

"Trus what does this have to do with your problem? Is that Refan's problem?" anita asked confusedly.

"So morning Papa and Mama came to my house. They told me that Mama Refan came back to my house to propose to me. I'm a widow now and she's a widower. They want to carry out the mandate of his father before he died" Kinan said.

Anita was very surprised to hear Kinan's explanation. He looked at Kinan with a look of disbelief.

"Nan.. do not - do not.. this is the meaning of your dreams all this time?...
