Temporary Husband

Temporary Husband
Blurred

The middle-aged woman's footsteps faltered, occasionally looking back hoping her child would catch up. But what was expected was not also revealed his nose so he was forced to meet two policemen who were sitting on the front porch.

"Who-search, sir?" mother Farhan asked with a slight tremble.

"Good day, ma'am." the two men in brown uniforms stood up and saluted.

"The day Mr."

"Why does there sound like a commotion inside? Is something going on?" ask one of the policemen who was slightly fattened while looking inside. Scrutinizing the house suddenly sounded lonely, not like earlier.

"Ah, it's nothing sir. Ordinary little commotion." Mother Farhan's great-grandson as she scratched her non-itchy head. He could not stand quietly. Nervousness and fear of ambushing him. He was afraid if he was found out that he sometimes also tortured his daughter-in-law, Sania. Every now and then he glanced inside, afraid that suddenly Sania would come out and complain about everything.

"Is there really nothing serious?"

"Right Sir. Just a small commotion between my son and daughter-in-law." he squeezed the end of his shirt, while the two policemen stared at him intently as well as probing gazes.

"But why do we hear screams? it didn't seem like an ordinary scream." the two policemen looked at Mother Farhan suspiciously. The one in the face even more wrong behavior, occasionally scratching the head occasionally throw away face.

"There's nothing, sir. Just a regular storm, yes it's called household."

The two policemen looked at each other for a moment, then looked back at Mother Farhan.

"What's the matter with the police coming to my house?" mother Farhan asked after calming herself down. Trying to be more calm, exactly.

"We brought an arrest warrant against Farhan's brother on charges of molestation and attempted murder to Reyhan's brother." Ibu Farhan was shocked by his perfectly glaring eyes. A slightly thinner policeman handed the arrest warrant to Reyhan's mother who looked sock. Even with his mouth open he stared at the arrest warrant in disbelief.

"The fathers must be wrong people," he stuttered as he grabbed the white paper that was thrust at him. His hand trembled as he received the paper, slowly opening it and reading the contents inside.

"It's impossible for my son to do this, sir. A-my son Farhan would not be able to commit such a criminal act." the woman shook her head, rejecting the reality she had just accepted. He tried to dispute the fact that it happened.

"Sorry Mom, we're just following orders. Please allow us to arrest brother Farhan."

"No! You can't take my son because he's innocent. Farhan is innocent! you guys are wrong!" angry shouting.

" Please cooperate, ma'am."

"No! You're wrong! My son is innocent! You guys are wrong!" Farhan's mother screamed hysterically even standing at the entrance. Suddenly the cry of Mother Farhan made the neighbors who heard it also flocked out to find out. They huddled together while whispering to each other.

"You can apply chapter 221 of the Penal Code verse 1:

Threatened with a maximum prison sentence of nine months or a maximum fine of four thousand five hundred rupiahs:

any person who intentionally conceals a person who commits a crime or who is charged with a crime, or any person who provides assistance to him or her to avoid investigation or detention by a judicial or police criminal, or, or by another person who under the provisions of the law is constantly or temporarily handed over to run the police department;

whosoever after a crime has been committed and with a view to covering it up, or to obstruct or complicate its investigation or prosecution, destroys, eliminates, or, to conceal objects against which or with which a crime is committed or other traces of a crime, or to withdraw them from an examination conducted by a judicial or police officer or by another person, which according to the provisions of the law is constantly or temporarily handed over to run the police department."

"Mom, what's going on?" asked her daughter, but no words came out of the lips of the middle-aged woman who was now staring blankly at the white floor before her.

"Sir, what's wrong? Why is my mother-in-law like this?" sania asked the two policemen standing in front of them.

"We have orders for Farhan's brother's arrest on charges of molestation and attempted murder to Reyhan's brother."

"W-what? My husband did an attempted murder to Reyhan?" Sania closed her open mouth. So was his brother Farhan who was calming his mother.

"Yes, Ma'am. Ohya, why is your body and face full of bruises and there are dried blood spots? Did you get any violence?" ask the police full of probes while looking at Sania's condition. Sania only glanced for a moment at the two women who were now as excited as ever. Seeing such a miserable state made Sania reluctant to reveal the truth. He did not want to increase the punishment of his husband. Because after all he loved Farhan very much even though the man never loved him and was always rude to him.

"It's nothing, sir. I just fell." lied Sania. He forced a smile on his bruised face.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure." Sania replied firmly while nodding confidently. He would not complain about Farhan's actions because he loved the man so much.

"Well, is Farhan's brother inside? please do not hinder our duty."

"Sorry sir, my husband is not home."

The policeman looked at Sania with an intimidating look. "Please cooperate, Ma'am. Do not hinder our duty if you do not want to impose article 221 KUHP paragraph 1."

"I didn't try to dissuade you, but my husband wasn't home."

"Aren't you and Farhan's brother just having a fight? Don't cheat the police, ma'am."

"I'm not deceiving you, sir. After a fight my husband went straight out and did not return to the room until now."

Sania clear.

"May I go inside?"

"Please, Sir." Sania allows the two policemen to enter the house. The two men in full-fledged uniforms immediately searched Farhan's house. But the suspect was not found so they returned empty-handed.

"Do you know where your husband went?"

"Sorry sir, I really don't know." Sania replied honestly. The two policemen turned to look at Farhan's younger brother who was immediately answered with a sledgehammer by him.

"Sir is Farhan!" there was a shout from one of the thick-bodied mothers who had been watching the commotion that occurred. The cry from Mother made everyone there turn their heads in the direction indicated. It is true, seen Farhan who was running across the road that is quite far by occasionally looking back. Without wasting any time, the two policemen immediately ran after Farhan who would not stop even though warning shots were heard echoing.

"Don't shoot my son! Don't shoot my son!" Ibu Farhan shouted hysterically. The woman roared with a limp body, imagining that her son was hit by a shot that would be very painful.

"Farhan! My boy!" the woman's shrillness was filled with wounds and a poignant tone. His gaze far looked forward, seeing the chase scene between his son and the police who occasionally fired bullets upwards.
